About this apartment rental
BAKER STREET LODGE - 2 brand new condominium units right in the heart of downtown Baker Street available for short term rentals. Both architecturally designed 2 bedroom units are made available for use individually or combining them for larger groups. The convenience of being located directly up the stairs from our dynamic Baker Street, only steps to amazing shopping, great restaurants, brew pubs and nightclubs, coffee shops makes these units ultra convenient for tourists, and locals alike.
Our building is the first Baker Street building that has added a new floor since the 1960's. These are not renovated condo's but completely new structures added to the 100 year old single storey building. They are complete with all modern designs and styles. The Baker Street side condo - Unit A - has a 24 x 4 foot deck looking out on the street. The Alley side condo - Unit B - has a 12 x 19 foot deck with incredible views of the famous Pulpit Rock, Flagpole trail and Elephant Mountain. Both decks have Weber Natural Gas Barbques. Both units also have 1 king bed in master bedroom and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom. We also offer 1 cot for an additional $10.00 per night if required.

I would definitely recommend this location, even though selfishly I don’t want the world to know so it’s available to book! This is a very stylish and comfortable apartment, and it was very convenient to just walk down the stairs onto Baker Street! We had everything we needed. It was wonderful to have the kids bedroom at the backend so we could enjoy some quiet time at night.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Nelson at this property. Right in the heart of downtown, near shopping , breweries and good restaurants!! The property is loaded with amenities and well appointed. Love the large deck space. Be prepared for some stairs to get your luggage up. But once in, you will love it!!!😊

Great place with perfect location! It was an amazing accommodation to relax after seeing the sights and biking the trails in the area. Perfect walking distance to everything and heading out at night! Will book again when I’m in the area!

It is on the second level, so a full flight of stairs to get in, and parking is 6 foot 8 so if you have a larger vehicle, need to park a ways away and pay.

Loved the location but was unaware of a homeless tent camp about 3 blocks away, and we have 3 kids under 12. They didn’t bother us and no negative interactions with the transients at all.

It was in the heart of Nelson, just mins walk to restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and a grocery store. We are a family of four and had a comfortable stay. The owners were quick to respond when we contacted them. We will be back!

You can’t ask for a better location! We were in town for a soccer tournament and we walked all over town and even to the soccer fields. Beautiful back patio to sit and have a drink or grill some dinner. Easy check in and check out process and wonderful communication with host. Would definitely stay there again!

We stayed at Baker St condo as a base to ski Whitewater. We loved the convenience of the apartment and the effort Pat and Sue have made to set it up . We had a wonderful stay in Pat and Sue’s condo. We took both condos to accommodate our family, and it worked very well. Easy access to everything Baker Street has to offer. Pat and Sue were very good hosts, communicating regularly given our arrival delay due to the winter snow storm.

What a great rental. Central to downtown, walking distance to most of the city.
Unfortunately for most of the day it was just too hot (40c) to enjoy the deck, but it was great at night after dinner.
The pace was the perfect size for a small family or two couples.
Place was perfectly stocked with everything we could need. Appliances were brand new and spotless.
Beds were extremely comfortable. And the unit was quiet inside with windows closed. There is an outdoor bar across the alleyway and down the hill, but it was only barely audible in the background when we sat on the deck. We could not hear it in the unit.
One entrance in the alley, which may sound odd, but a great deal of Nelson is either off or in an alley. Well lit and never felt unsafe. The other entrance opens right onto Baker Street at the Broken Hill Restaurant.
Could have stayed here more than a week easily.

We had the most amazing stay. The condo is so well stocked, with kitchen tools, towels, extra bedding and laundry soap. Clean and very tastefully decorated. Close everything downtown. There a few flights of stairs to climb to get to condo, but worth the climb.

Poor Parking especially to load and unload vehicle.
Two sets of stairs to carry up supplies.
Very noisy between 6 and 8 in morning, supply trucks in lane.
BBQ was very dirty.
House needs a deep clean.
Had to pay extra for the dog that we were not made aware of prior to payment.
The beds were very clean and comfortable.
Could have used a few more dishes for 5 people.

Great place to stay in downtown Nelson BC
This was a very comfortable accommodation - 5 stars despite my comments. The positives were the great kitchen, wonderful gas stove, easy to cook with everything you could want and nice connection with the television room and views to the outdoors. The master bedroom was very comfortable and private and lovely to have the views to the deck and fresh air via the large sliding door. The positives far outweigh the negatives, but in an effort to provide an honest review I do need to mention a few things. The accommodation could have been a little cleaner. There were many cat hairs (or what I think was cat hair) on the bedding and the baseboards had a lot of dust on the top edge, giving the feeling that a deep clean had not been done. The other big negative is that the 2nd bedroom does not have any storage (no closet and no dresser) and most importantly no window or second means of escape in case of fire. This is not allowed in the USA as you must provide an egress window. The LVT flooring had many gaps and in a few places was raised. Some of the furniture, although comfortable, was already showing wear, so I'm not sure how long it will last. Many times the exit hallway to the alley smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. But overall it was 5 stars because it was very comfortable, good appliances and HVAC, a great kitchen to cook in, super quiet and a perfect location. I only mention the negatives in an effort to be helpful, but we really had a great stay! We would love to return. Thank you!

A perfect Christmas getaway
We were so happy to be able to stay in this apartment for a snowy Christmas in Nelson. We were a group of 5 adults and we found the suite to be spacious with lots of storage room. It has a huge and well-stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. With a group of 5 one of us slept on a cot in the living room. There are 2 bathrooms with very nice showers and a good soaker tub. Living room was comfortable and had lots of room for board games and movie nights. The location couldn’t be better - right on Baker Street yet very private and quiet. I recommend this place and would stay here again.
