About this cottage rental

Located in the heart of the Finger Lakes and snuggled in on the lakefront between Hobart & William Smith Colleges and the Watkins Glen International Race Track; this cozy three bedroom home will leave you with all the “Lake Reflections.”

Inside, a beautifully decorated three season room with dining table is splashed with cool blues and vibrant corals. Throughout your getaway this room will become your favorite spot to watch the sun come up each morning, and the waves of Seneca Lake crash along the shore each day.

A galley style kitchen offers continuous lake views and cupboards stocked with a plentiful supply of cooking and baking ware. Stop by the local Windmill Market and stock up on local produce and add an extra Finger Lakes flare to your mealtime!

Just off the kitchen, the living room is cozy and offers plush sofas and an electric fireplace for added ambiance. Completing the lower level, you'll find a bedroom with two sets of twin bunk beds.

Upstairs, the additional two bedrooms and full bath can be found. Each of the three bedrooms is specially designed with your comfort in mind and makes Lake Reflections feel like your “home away from home” while here at Seneca Lake. Outside, spend your day paddling in the kayak, sunning in an Adirondack chair or fishing off the dock. Nearby Finger Lakes favorites include hiking the Keuka/Seneca Lake Outlet Trail, or stopping in for a tasting at Miles Wine Cellars or Climbing Bines Brewery. Water Source Information: All of our properties have different types of water sources. Some draw water from the lake, wells, or are using city water. However, the taste and smell of the water at each vacation home differs. The rental property located at 2913 Pompey Road has lake water. Guests may wish to bring bottled drinking water if water quality is a concern.

**Lake Reflections is located on a private, 5mph road. We ask all guests abide by the speed limit to ensure the neighborhood is properly respected.

Occupancy: This property is closely monitored for responsible renting. The maximum occupancy of each home is the number of guests allowed on the premises at any given time. This includes both day and overnight guests.

Note:
1. Smoking is not allowed in any rental property. This includes vaping and e-cigarettes.
2. Homes are not handicap accessible, unless stated in the description.
3. Air conditioning is not available unless listed as an amenity. If available, air conditioning is considered a seasonal amenity and is only available May 15 - October 15.
4. Where pets are allowed it is indicated. Otherwise, pets are not allowed. Homes are not guaranteed allergen-free, even those that do not allow pets.
5. Docking capabilities may vary based on current water levels. Docking is not guaranteed if water levels are low and/or high due to seasonal weather and climate changes.
6. Outdoor amenities, including furniture, watercraft and firepit are not available between October 15 - May 15.

We loved the house, right on the lake. Very clean, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and bedrooms were just as advertised. Sitting outside by the water was just so relaxing. The view from inside the house is almost as good as sitting outside. Would definitely recommend this house!!!

This home was beautiful and exactly as pictured online. The lake view was perfect and the proximity to local wineries, restaurants, and the neary boat launch was great. The house was very clean, updated, and had that perfect cozy lake house feeling. The fire pit, kayaks, and dining table on the dock were nice perks, too! The upstairs beds were okay, but might be a little uncomfortable for a longer stay. Our biggest complaint was that in the listing it states that the use of the boat dock is dependent on the water level at the time of your stay, but we found out from the neighbor that we were unable to use it per the owner's request. This would have been extremely helpful to know beforehand as we brought a boat and had to scramble to find alternative parking for the weekend. I assume that is a generic statement about all properties that have a boat dock, but this should definitely be made clear in the listing that you are not allowed to use it. This was an extra cost that we were not expecting. Overall, a great house and great stay!

Nice property, and great location to wineries, breweries, hiking, and shopping. There are four kayaks, life jackets, a new decent sized gas grill and a great fire pit. The check in was a little late and departure early. Lots of ants in house, even despite the many ant traps. All good needed to be refrigerated due to this. Penn Yan is a must do along with the Spotted Duck creamery. So fun!

We have nothing but great things to stay about this place! Clean, cozy, and cute! It had everything we would need for a long weekend trip, right on the clean and beautiful Seneca Lake, next door to a winery (that you can also kayak too), 15-20 minutes from other wineries and the grocery store, and the rental property was very communicative. It really is a perfect getaway enjoyed by the adults and kids and a place we’d like to visit yearly. We actually checked upcoming available dates while there – we already miss the place!

This property was the perfect experience for staying in the finger lakes. It had everything we needed - perfect lake front views in and outside the house, a fire pit, a grill, kayaks, a fully stocked kitchen, and more. The location is perfect, within 20 minutes of about 20 places to visit. You can even kayak or walk to the nearest winery, Miles Wine Cellars. Thanks for a great stay.

The property was beautiful and the cottage was immaculate! Two families with 4 kids, aged 7-11, and it was perfect. We all loved kayaking, sitting by the fire, skipping rocks in the lake and watching the wildlife.

Don’t drink the water

Don’t drink the water

After a week of drinking the tap water, I found a small sign saying iit was lake water and not suitable for drinking. That should have been at the very TOP of the check in procedures if not a signed disclosure. I read every word of each document they sent and their was no mention of polluted drinking water. Management gave little consideration to my family’s health and I do not appreciate it. They took the time to frame a little sign at each sink warning us to be conscientious of their fragile septic and I was. I expect the same consideration.

Great property directly on the water in a nice proximity to wineries. Area had a bit of a septic tank smell outside and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned well. Overall would stay again, thanks!

Great Lakefront property

Great Lakefront property

This was a beautiful property and it's proximity to the lake was wonderful. We were able to wake up in the morning and have coffee out on the table at the end of the pier or out on the patio just outside of the kitchen. We did have quite a few ants in the kitchen when we arrived that I believe the owner was aware of as there were ant traps laid out. The house on the whole, however was clean and tidy and as bug-free as one could expect in a house in the woods. The beds we're comfortable and all of the furniture was in good shape. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a Finger lakes getaway!
