This property was perfect for us……seating areas for our entire family of six, three tvs, although we found the Roku system confusing! Super back yard and plenty of wood, with a huge fire pit. The only amenities we used were the swimming pool….very clean and sparkling. Would most certainly recommend this property

This is our second year at Jane's cabin for our annual long-time friends and spouse's get together. It fit our needs perfectly as there were 9 of us and this had seating that would accommodate all of us. We look forward to next year!

My family and I had the best weekend ever!! So much room in this beautiful house. Kitchen had everything you needed for family meals. Skiing was 5 minute ride. Clean beyond clean. I was very impressed with this house and I’m not easy to impress. We will definitely be renting this beautiful welcoming home again. Thanks Jane for everything!!

We had a get together with a group of friends that basically grew up spending summer and winter weekends in Knights Hill. We could not have picked a better house for our reunion. Not only is the place beautiful -- it's huge! So much space, with plenty of sectional couches, a roomy open kitchen and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our time staying at this location. It is not far from town and there is a nice convenience store nearby that is well stocked and also has a kitchen. Not far from New Hampshire either. This property allowed our family including two small grandchildren, son and daughter-in-law, and also daughter to have gathering space but still be able to have own space as well.

Overall, we had a great experience. There was some confusion on how to access the cabin, as the keys were replaced with a push-button entry lock that was not noted in the otherwise complete instructions. The refrigerators needed to be quickly cleaned before we felt comfortable putting food in them. After looking at other reviews, we saw no cameras, but then we didn't really care if they were there or not. But the best part of the home were the multiple couches and loveseats available to allow 9 of us to sit together comfortably and hold long conversations catching up from the previous year. We definitely will want to stay here next year if it is available!

Won’t stay again
Upon arrival we were loving the beautiful property. As we approached the entryway we noticed a camera sitting on a wagon wheel. The lights were on the camera so it looked to be active. We proceeded to enter the house and noticed another camera inside the house in the lower living room. This was disturbing, because we were not notified about any on-site cameras, and feel that is an invasion of privacy. After inspecting the house we found a third in the back yard. My husband found the receiver, and unplugged it.
Overall the house was OK. We were also disappointed that there was no a/c. We found dirty ladies underwear behind doors. The refrigerator and freezer was loaded with expired food that we had to clean out prior to unpacking our groceries. When we went to some of the rooms the beds were made and then some of the rooms didn’t have bedding. We noticed under some of the sheets the mattresses had hair, grass and dirt. It took our first day of vacation cleaning up the place so we felt comfortable enough to stay there. We went on to wash up all the bedding and every room to ensure they were clean. Once we got it all cleaned up and tidied up we had a pretty good stay, but I wanted to warn others who may stay that this is the situation we ran into. The outside also has cameras in the backyard around the fireplace. We do not plan to return to this property again. We paid a pretty hefty cleaning fee for our stay, but when we requested a part of it back they said no. Best of luck!

Great family stay
Leek Camp is well-suited for a family get-together or a weekend away. There are multiple options for relaxing in the large, open living spaces and the kitchen and large dining table can accommodate 10. The neighborhood is very quiet and as the house is at the end of a cul-de-sac. The four bedrooms are a bit cozy but with all the room in the upper and lower living rooms and the four-season screen porch / den there are plenty of options to chill. The house is very well equipped and if lots of wood and ski decor suits your style this is your home away from home. Very enjoyable stay.

Perfect weekend!
Great location, plenty of room for our party of 8 adults, everything we needed and more, very clean and wonderfully decorated. 1 mile walk to the pond. Would love to stay here again! Special thank you to the host for the excellent communication and the recommendations!

Spacious Lake h
Overall this property was totally as described . Plenty of living space for our whole family (7 of us) and lots of amenities. The neighborhood was great and we enjoyed meeting neighbors at the pool. There were two drawbacks from our perspective. We were looking for walking distance to the lake and knew in advance that our stay here would require a short drive. Also a/c was actually required this year. ThOugh there were many fans nothing could really keep up with the humidity. All in all it was a great week at Leek’s Camp and I would recommend this property with reservations noted. Thank you Jane

A great place for an extended family vacation.
My stay at this immaculate home with my 3 children and their families was a joy, in large part because of the quality of this SPACIOUS, bright, cheery vacation home. The two great rooms and kitchen are fabulous.

Spacious and family – centered home.
Our family of 12: 6 adults and 6 kids ages 5-13. The family space from the dining room to the living room to the TV area were all cozy and accommodating. The kitchen was very well-equipped with quality cookware and utensils. The location was 15 minutes away from downtown Bridgton, but a couple miles from a great hike and 1 mile from the association access to Moose Pond. The association pool was right down the street (walking distance), and was well kept and clean. The owners were great to work with. They responded quickly to any of our minor concerns. The house comes with all sorts of accessories so you don’t have to pack from home-lifejackets, kayaks, cards, puzzles, Wii Games and movies. Laundry was right on site, and the fans in the house kept us cool all day and evening. House is well shaded. Fire pit in the backyard was a hit for s’mores. Thank you for this great family vacation.

Family vacationWe loved the ppro
We loved the property. It was very roomy and was able to eaily take care of the 10 people on our trip. The kitchen was adequately equipped and we spent many moments sitting in the lovely and sunny upstairs sitting room. On the other hand we also enjoyed watching movies in the down stairs room. The weather was on the cool side but the younger ones did swim and played a lot of basketball by the pool. The association profided something for everyone - kyacking, swimming and fishing. We also loved apple picking in the area and the climbing of Pleasant Mountain. The Leeks were also very accommodating. I would certainly recommend renting this property.

Great Ski Weekend!!
We rented Leek Camp for a ski weekend with friends. 6 adults and 4 kids. This house had more then enough room to accommodate us all and then some. Kitchen was well equipped and it made making meals for everyone super easy. Large entry way was perfect for shedding the ski gear before entering the house. Proximity to Shawnee Peak was perfect. Literally only a couple of minutes, allowed us to ski the AM, come back, eat lunch, and then ski the afternoon. Highly recommend.

Maine - fun all year round!!
Very spacious, clean house that has everything you need and enough room so it allows people in large groups for some quiet reading time by the fire and rooms large enough to gather around, laugh, tell stories, and enjoy some good cheers (also around the fire). Skiing and snow tubing is just a short ride from the house and great shopping at the outlets for those who don't seek outdoor adventure. It's cozy, comfy, friendly and fun. Great for both families, couples or just a bunch of friends looking to get away.

Excellent family retreat
We wish we would have booked a longer stay because we had a blast. The house was so cozy and had EVERYTHING you could think of. It fit 8 adults and 4 kids very comfortably. The kids enjoyed fishing at the lake and swimming in the pool. We also spent a day in old orchard beach. All around fun time. We look forward to next years stay.

Couldn't have been more perfect!!
I can't speak highly enough about our recent stay at the Leek Camp! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and had all the amenities we needed! The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for everyone in our party of 9 to spread out and relax! We spent our days at the beautiful beach on Moose pond enjoying a variety of water sports and our evenings laughing around the fire pit. This house really has everything you could want for a perfect vacation in the mountain lakes region of Maine!!

Perfect vacation spot for families
We rented the Leek Camp for my father in law's 70th birthday. There were 10 of us including 4 kids ages 1-10. The house and Knights Hill Assn was perfect. We had loads of space and no one felt crowded. We used the grill and the fire pit. We went to the pool every day and loved the beach. Over fours days we kayaked, hiked Shawnee Peak, swam at the pool and Moose Pond, played tennis, golfed, biked, and much more. Bridgton is a great little town especially Beth's Cafe and Mack's. We hope to go back next year.

FUN FAMILY WEEKEND
What a great weekend with several inches of snowfall to make our weekend so much more fun and festive. It was a winder wonderland with skiing, snow tubing, hot cocoa, drinks, and plenty of laughter. Spacious enough for some alone time and big enough for the whole gang. Great weekend.

We had a great long weekend at the Leek Camp! It was a beautiful house with lots of room for our large extended family. We enjoyed cooking on the grill and sitting by the fire each night. The house was very clean and had everything we could possibly need. Lots of things to do in the area. We can't wait to plan a trip for next year!

Special Memories Made at Big Camp Reunion!
The Leek Camp was the perfect Maine getaway! The house was simultaneously large and cozy, and had fantastic common spaces ideal for big groups. My group came from all over the country to celebrate our camp's 100th anniversary reunion, but we had some of our most special moments cooking dinners together, looking at old photo albums in the living room, watching movies on the big screen TV, and playing games at the Leek Camp. We loved the cabin decor throughout too! This is a place I would come back to year after year! There are so many adventures, great shops, excellent restaurants, and more all within minutes of the house.

Amazing Place for Any Season
Every time we go to the Leek House we have a great time. This is the perfect house no matter what your interest is. It is convenient to everything. We've gone up at various times throughout the last few years and once we get back home we're immediately checking on when we can rent again. I would highly recommend Leek House.

One of my favorite places that we keep going back!
Leek Camp is a fabulous vacation spot for friends and family. Where do I start.... The house slept 3 families and kids friends comfortably. There is plenty to do from a camp fire in the back yard to floating on the lake and walk downtown Bridgeton to shop at the local boutiques. Plus you don't need to pack a thing other than your clothes. We shopped at the local Hanafords which the workers were very friendly and helpful. A+ vacation spot!
Thank you Leek Camp
