Amazing Views! Air conditioning! Close to Yellowstone Park's North Entrance!
About this cabin rental
Situated in Montana, this lovely cabin for $330 per night is a great choice for your next break. NEW: Enjoy a soak in the beautiful outdoor tiled geothermal pools at "Yellowstone Hot Springs" near the Corwin Springs bridge, only 4 miles from this home! An amazing setting above the Yellowstone River, with magnificent towering mountain views all around! (See pictures in photo gallery.) Open year-round. YELLOWSTONE VACATION HOME: This home is only 11 miles from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park! A new park entrance road is now permanently open, and you can visit all of Yellowstone Park from here. This is the only major park entrance open all year to normal vehicles. If you're looking for beautiful views in the quiet seclusion of pristine Montana surroundings, with access to an abundance of outdoor recreation and relaxation, you will be delighted with your stay at our Yellowstone Vacation Home. (Please note: This home is on a hill, well out of range of any seasonal river flooding. We have our own well with delicious pure water that is tested annually.) We do recommend you bring a 4WD or AWD vehicle, which is necessary when there has been an extended period of rain, or snow. You'll love the peace and quiet as you gaze at the mountains and the Yellowstone River while enjoying a meal or relaxing on the wrap-around deck. There you'll have a front row seat to magnificent sunsets over Paradise Valley in the crux of Yankee Jim Canyon, often with spectacular colors. A herd of elk can often be seen in the field below, grazing in the morning and evening (see picture). This home is ideal for wildlife enthusiasts. Bring binoculars or a scope to enhance the experience. This 1200 sq. ft. 3 bedroom/1 bathroom cedar home sits on a one acre property that is fully fenced and gated, and has a nicely maintained lawn. Wildlife photographers, this place is for you! You are likely to see mule deer, elk, antelope, bald eagles, big horn sheep, rabbits and many bird species! You might also see an occasional group of rafters floating the river below. We have a fire pit in the yard where you can cook s'mores and enjoy family time (firewood provided.) Challenge each other to a friendly game of horseshoes on the lawn. (Horseshoe pits are set at a distance for families to enjoy.) There are many fun things to do in the area year round. Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and river rafting trips are available nearby. Walking or biking on the quiet gravel access road to this home is a scenic adventure in itself. The three bedrooms sleep 6 to 8 people, with one queen-size bed, 2 twin beds, a bunk bed, and 2 fold-up foam pads. Features include high-speed WiFi via Starlink, central forced air heating and air conditioning throughout, a wood burning fireplace, washer/dryer, flat screen TV with DVDs and Dish satellite TV, plus a CD player. There are a variety of games, DVDs and CDs for your use. We also have a library of interesting books about local area attractions, children's books and novels. A cozy cabin feeling is engendered by the original fir woodwork on most walls and ceilings. The spacious downstairs bathroom features two sinks and a shower-tub. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a glass top range, dish washer, microwave, large refrigerator and a gas grill provided on the deck. This home is well supplied - we provide linens, towels, a hair dryer, all paper goods, and various soaps, trash can liners, etc. The comfort of our guests is important to us! Please note: the bathroom is located downstairs and the three bedrooms are located on the second floor. See photo of stairs. Please note: We recommend that you book raft trips, horseback riding, guided fishing trips, guided mountain biking, and other activities well in advance, with the local providers in Gardiner and Paradise Valley. Hunters are also welcome at Yellowstone Vacation Home. This area of Montana, just north of Yellowstone Park, receives hundreds of elk migrating out of Yellowstone Park each winter. There is also a year-round resident herd of elk in the mountains just above the cabin, and mule deer are abundant in the area. Hunting, in-season, is open to the public on all of the vast U.S. Forest Service lands that surround the cabin for miles. You can literally just walk out the gate and hunt in the surrounding Forest Service lands. (License required.) Please note: we have installed a ring camera on the outside wall by the front door so we can monitor the weather, and for security purposes. It is the only one on the entire property. If you're looking for wildlife sightings close to the cabin and beautiful views in the quiet seclusion of pristine Montana surroundings, with easy access to the attractions of Yellowstone Park, and the fishing and white water rafting opportunities of Yellowstone River, you will be delighted with your stay at our Yellowstone Vacation Home! We had a great stay! The views from the house were outstanding and it was just far enough off the beaten path. The location was peaceful. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you could want or need. Our dog loved exploring the yard. Wildlife was plentiful. We saw more elk and antelope from the house than we did in the Park. Communication with the homeowners was excellent. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

We celebrated our one year wedding anniversary here and could not have pictured a more beautiful place to do it! The house was complete with all amenities and close to all locations. Including Yellowstone north entrance, restaurants, shopping and more! We can’t wait to visit this beautiful home again!

We just had another wonderful stay at this property- so relaxing and peaceful and absolutely beautiful views! All you could want is provided!! It is great for both relaxing at the house or as a base for exploring Yellowstone and the surrounding area! We are always so sad when it’s time to go home! It’s my favorite place to get away to and we always make plans to return again!! Thank you Bruce and Magdalena for another memorable trip!!!

We all loved the location and how stocked the cabin was. Owners were very good with directions and GPS got us right there. Views are breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your heaven on earth with us.

We spent the week exploring Yellowstone and were grateful for the authentic Montana experience this home provided! It was clean, clearly well-cared for, and provided a quiet, peaceful homebase for our evenings and early mornings. We especially loved hearing coyote and great horned owls at night, and the proximity to the Yellowstone Hot Springs (we got a 12 pack of passes so our family of three could visit four times over the course of the week). The owners were very easy to communicate with, responsive to all of our questions in advance and while we were at the property. We couldn't have asked for a better, more magical experience - five stars, highly recommend!

Perfect Mountain retreat, with privacy and nature surrounding the house. The fenced yard was perfect for letting our dog roam safely while we sat on the deck and enjoyed the view. The home was sparkling clean, and was well equipped with everything we needed. There was a nice grocery store in nearby Gardiner. Each day we would head out to the close by Yellowstone North Entrance and see something new. Then go back to chill and fix dinner. This house provided two things that the Park accommodations don’t provide which are AC and Internet.

If you like peace and quiet this is the place for you. The home was located in the mountains outside the north entrance to Yellowstone. Make sure you have a SUV because the road is rough going in (although surveyors were seen and we were told the town was going to do something about the road in the future.
There are beautiful sunsets from the back deck and gorgeous stars at night. The kitchen is stocked with more spices and condiments than any other Vrbo and the home was extremely clean!!!! The washer and dryer are a plus. Wish we would have seen more wild life at the home but we saw plenty in the park. Make sure you drive the Bear Tooth Hwy. It is outstanding! Thanks for sharing your home.

This place is a fantastic getaway which is not too far from the north entrance of Yellowstone NP.... approx 20 min.
The location is secluded with a great view of the valley, mountains, and the Yellowstone River. An elk herd visits the hills every evening and antelope were even spotted one morning. The trout fishing is great with several spots to access the river nearby. Keep in mind that this location is a little challenging to get to, best by truck or SUV as the terrain is mountainous.
The house is well stocked, the wifi speed was great. It was clean and more than adequate for our family of 5. The kitchen was great for keeping our clan fed, allowing us to avoid paying the high prices at the local eateries. (High priced and mediocre food). The laundry facilities were helpful, but the stairs leading to the bedrooms are steep and may not be ideal for someone older or with disabilities though.
In the end, we thought this was a perfect location for exploring the park and getting some much needed R&R.

Outstanding home! My family and I had a wonderful time. The views from this property are outstanding!

This home is amazing! The pictures cannot capture the majesty of the views which surround the property. You absolutely get the feeling of being alone with nature in beautiful Montana when you stay here. Wildlife is everywhere and different every day. We hoped we would never have to leave and are already planning our next trip back.
The home is located about ~20 minutes from the northwest Yellowstone entrance in Gardiner, Montana. There are groceries and gas stations nearby in Gardiner and more stores available in nearby Livingston. The house is fully stocked with everything a guest could ask for including fire wood, kitchen utensils + appliances, grill + propane, flashlights, spices, coffee grinder... you name it. The bedrooms are perfectly comfortable and cozy.
Recommend 4x4 vehicle for getting to and from the house on old yellowstone road. The weather is unpredictable at times and road conditions can change quickly.
There is so much to do and see in this area and having this cozy cabin with its own spectacular views helped make this our best vacation ever!
Thank you so much for letting us stay at your home.

From first contact to last day we enjoyed staying in this wonderful home. We didn’t pack enough sun block or bug spray but the owners left every essential item stocked. If this home is available for your vacation plans book it!

This is a haven
We arrived the day the Yellowstone River flooded to levels never seen before.
We still had clean water, power, air con! (except for 2 hrs the power company, who's line failed, had it back in a little over 90mins of us calling them)
We spent 6 days at the house, and honestly, we're still sad to go.
Bruce & Magdalena & Hubert we superb making sure we were OK and we didn't need for anything.
2024 we're coming back.

Beautiful location off of the main road and away from EVERYTHING. The views were breathtaking.

Amazing location and views! The drive in was not nearly as bad as I expected. It is a very well maintained dirt road. The cabin was clean and a perfect size for 5 of us. Thankfully, there were step stools as the cabinets and cupboards are all VERY high. We joked that it was made for giants. :) I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the views from the deck. We will definitely stay again.

We were looking for a quiet, away from it all, but not TOO far place for our family to stay for a week…and this was it! I’m talking, last house on a long winding mountain road, with incredible views, kind of quiet.
The kitchen was stocked with all the tools and spices we needed to cook meals. About 15 minutes from Gardiner and 20 from Yellowstone, we would definitely visit again!

A Breath of Fresh Air
We absolutely LOVED our stay at this home. The views are stunning. We enjoyed watching elk cross the property in the morning and saw herds of big horned sheep.
The location was perfect for a remote, relaxing stay but close enough to the town of Gardiner and the Old Saloon in Emigrant to go out for a meal. It's also down the road from hot springs!
The yard was the best part! Our dogs absolutely loved the fully fenced yard.
We would definitely stay here again!

Nice property with fully fenced yard
Very nice property with fully fenced yard that surrounds house front and back yard. We saw a mountain goat on hill from our view in back yard, rabbit in front yard and heard coyote at night from distance. View was very pretty. Very clean inside property and was clean outside too. Nice deck with gas barbecue. We barbecued hot dogs, hamburgers and steak while watching gorgeous views outside.

Absolutely the best. I loved the place, the care that Magdalena has with every little detail in the property, the view (OMG, seriously), how easy it was to have the best time and not worry at all about our rental. It's a must go, if you are visiting Yellowstone. I only have great things to say about this place and the hosts.
