End of the Point - Cottage -- Unique One of Kind Private Oasis.
About this cottage rental
This is a chance for a unique Pacific Northwest experience. The property is a rare opportunity to experience living on the Puget Sound....It is truly one of a kind. Professionally decorated beach house sits out over the Puget Sound. Wake up with the sun light filtering through the many windows. Walk out on a private deck over looking the expansive view with a hot cup of coffee. Just a few steps down to a very private beach. Search for crabs, go clamming, look for oysters, or build a rock collection. At night snuggle up on the deck, and listen to the tide come in or relax by the indoor electric fireplace in the bedroom on those chilly NW nights. Beach house has expansive windows for sweeping views, fully stocked kitchen and linens, washer and dryer, 65" t.v., and WIFI if you really need to be connected but we have a feeling you won't. Minutes away from the Bremerton downtown area with fountain park, naval museum, and eateries. Catch a ferry to downtown Seattle for a day trip to the markets, museums, theater, and so much more. Close by is plenty to do from golf, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, bowling, breweries, camping....most of all RELAXING. For larger parties you can stay at our other house End of The Point "Main House", or rent both houses together. You can find the home through VRBO Listing #392202 *** Please note that there are about 10 stairs to get down to the property. Also another 6 steps to get to the beach. *** ** Security cameras are in use on the outside of the property, and are used to record anyone who enters or exits the property for security reason only. ** Keywords: Beach, Cabin, Cottage, Water, Salt water, Private, Sea,

At the end of the road close to the water you will find this beautiful place tucked away from the chaos of the world. This was the perfect spot for respit. The property managers were fantastic to work with and get information from. We will stay again!

This location was a unique one for our family. Being literally on the water allowed us to really connect with nature and the area. The guesthouse/cabin was cute and worked for what we needed. There are quite a few things that could be freshened up, but for most folks who stay there I would imagine their focus is not on the cabin it’s on the surroundings. The outdoor spotlight that shines into the water makes looking for wildlife at night a fun and interesting activity. We enjoyed ourselves while here.

Lovely setting with great views. Close to anything you need. Very warm and inviting

we stayed with our five year old daughter, who loved watching the sea birds (and a seal!) from the couch. comfortable beds, beautiful outdoor space.

We all loved the location, quiet and away from traffic. Two of the bedrooms are very small but accommodated us well for the stay. Lots of water amenities available for use. Furnished kitchen, washer and dryer. Superb views. We loved the cottage and will be back in the future.

Stayed for a winter weekend. Amazing view. Walked on the shoreline at low tide Enjoyed watching the wildlife.
Kitchen was well appointed and stocked with essentials.
My husband did keep hitting his head on the doorframes. He’s 6 ft.

We stayed 2 lovely nights. We had all we needed. Clean & bright bathroom & cozy bed. Looking out on the water was fabulous! Having our own parking spot was essential! You could tell the cottage has a history with just the location. Small kitchen with the essentials needed for easy meals. Even a dishwasher! Thank you for sharing!✌

Although rainy, we enjoyed our stay, got out on the kayaks for an hour, watched the ducks and the tides from the cozy cabin.

The house, location, and owner are amazing. You are RIGHT on the water - even took a few cold plunges during my stay! My pup loved the place, too. Super peaceful, very clean, and has everything you might need. The host is incredibly communicative and helpful. Already want to come back in the summer!

What a great place to sit back and relax. Listening to the waves with the incoming tide is an excellent way to decompress. This property does just that! We will book this place again.

We stayed for two nights, and had an amazing stay. The property is even cuter in person. It’s a house on the water, so it’s not a new modern property, it’s a small, charming place.
We enjoyed all the sea life, watching the tides, birds and jellyfish. We’ll certainly be back as our stay was nonstop gloom and rain, would love to visit again when the weather is nicer so we can enjoy the outdoor area more. Super cozy. There was no communication with the owners but none was needed I suppose as we did not encounter any issues during our stay.
One minor thing to know before going- take toiletries. The shower didn’t have anything like soap, shampoo or conditioner and we didn’t bring any bc most properties we’ve been to provide those. So bring toiletries- and everything else you need for your stay should be covered.
The coffee maker is a Ninja coffee maker that was intuitive and easy to use. Some coffee and tea was provided.
Some games are provided, great spot for kids and had a cute kids/small bedroom right on the water, and one on the other side of the house. We enjoyed the queen bed with electric fireplace. The windows all had nice pull down blinds so it wasn’t too bright in the mornings. We couldn’t get the smart tv to work, but we also didn’t really need it for our stay. Parking was super obvious with a sign denoting that the parking spot is for the End of the Point cottage, and had two spots to choose from.
Thank you for sharing your property with us!

This charming rental truly is an escape from City Life. It was peaceful and solitary. A prime location to many things. The views are truly spectacular, night and day. My husband and I enjoyed having our daily coffee outside every morning and watching all the different water creates swimming and scurrying about. We saw jellyfish. A first for me.
The house itself is clean and very charming inside. Has everything you'll need on your stay. We cooked breakfast daily, kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and utensils. The only downside to the kitchen was everything stuck to the frying pans. Loved the Ninja coffee maker though!
Checking in and out was a breeze no contact needed. We really enjoyed our stay, and I'm sure we'll be back again. Next time I'll take out the kayaks.

Staying here did not disappoint. It was the perfect location to go into the city for the day, or make a quick hiking trip. It was nice having a place that had a homey vibe to come back to, to relax after a long day rather than a hotel room.
My only trouble was that the house had low ceilings, and my husband, who is 6’2, could not comfortably move about the place, so keep that in mind if you’re tall.
I also felt a bit deceived by the pictures when it came to privacy because you have to walk through the main houses backyard to get down to the cabin and can be clearly seen while doing so. The pictures on the site show pictures down the pathway, but cut out pictures of the main livings backyard and start back up at the gate. Although there is a gate to give as much privacy to the cabin, if people staying in the main house go down to the water, the gate ends and the privacy is gone again. It would make for a few awkward run ins if both places were booked at the same time.
Lastly, I do wish the check out instructions were more descriptive. It only says to take the trash out to the road and to be out by 10. If there truly is nothing else to worry about (stripping the beds, gathering the towels, etc) I wish it’d say “no need to do anything else.” to be more clear.
If you’re looking for a nice, quaint get away, I’d say this is your place. The owners are kind and easy to work with, the views are breathtaking, and you might get lucky like us and see a few otters.

We had a great staycation! The kids enjoyed looking out the window for jellyfish, bald eagles, and sea animals. Beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable.

Just as advertised, this is a quirky, quaint cottage right on the water. Great for bird watching, and cozy even in the rain. I agree with other guests - that couch is a challenge when it comes to getting back on one’s feet. The kitchen has everything, but it’s a 1-cook space for sure. The outdoor space is fabulous.

This trip was much needed! This is a beautiful and relaxing space.

The minute we arrived and saw the cottage and views, we had to stop and soak it in. The photos were great on the site, but being there in person was even BETTER! Nature (moon jellyfish, clams, fish, birds), breathtaking views, comfort, fun, games ... such a great place to relax. Thank you for the most awesome experience. 10 STARS!

We loved our stay! It fit our needs perfectly
It's simple, peaceful and clean.
If you're looking for fancy bells and whistles, this isn't it.
If you love enjoy peaceful and relaxing and clean, close to stores, pharmacies food etc you'll love it.
We would turn on the spot light that shines on the water every night and watch the sea life out the big window. Like viewing a big fish tank but no there's tank!

The cottage is very nice with a beautiful view. We were so busy with family visit that did not get to spend alot of time there. What time we were there was relaxing and peaceful. Would recommend the cottage.

We love hiding away at the End of the Point - feeling like we’re all alone enjoying the water and cozy cottage! They’ve also added kayaks to use while staying there - which was a wonderful surprise and so fun to explore the inlets and neighboring shoreline. Always a wonderful getaway with the family, thanks for sharing your home with us!

This was my third stay at the cottage and as always, it was the peaceful recharge I desperately needed after years of full time work plus full time college. Being able to be near the water, read and enjoy the peace and quiet for a week, has me totally at peace again. This little cottage is perfect for this, it feels very secluded even with all the other houses around. I will be back, this is my go to spot for a recharge vacation.

This historic cabin right on the water is such a gem. The cabin has so much charm and the outdoor seating areas are wonderful. When we had questions once we arrived the owner responded within minutes and, since he happened to be nearby, came down to help. We will definitely be back to this sweet getaway!

Upon our arrival we couldn’t believe we were actually right over the water! The patio was perfect with gas table fire pit and umbrella overlooking water. The cottage was so sweet with everything we needed to completely enjoy our 3 day stay. And that we did. We golfed twice at the Gold Mountain Golf Course and even took in a movie in town. We look forward to coming back in the near future.

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our family.

Yes, we would stay here again. If you need air conditioning (we stayed during 90F+ degree weather and the air didn't keep up because the place isn't very well sealed) or expect more than rustic with perhaps having to request some basic necessities) you won't be happy here. As well, The one thing that I was always looking at was the security camera. I've stayed in a LOT of VRBO's all over the world and this is the only 1 that had a security camera. However.... very quiet, private (except the camera) and owner was very responsive.

My family and I stayed here for a few days and loved it. It has an unparalleled view. The cabin is a wonderful mix of being rustic while having updated touches, like a fabulous shower and kitchen space. I would happily stay here again. It’s a place that’s good for the soul.

The location is exactly as promised: an idyllic place that feels like a retreat in many ways. Watching the tide come in and out is wonderful and we had perfect August weather. The cottage would be wonderful for a couple or single person. However, there is really 2 bedrooms; the 3rd room is very uncomfortable, hot and cramped. It feels like sleeping in a closet; we ended up using the couch. The bathroom is great; lots of towels, water pressure and hot water. The kitchen is stocked OK - no saran wrap, aluminum foil so need to bring your own. Couldn't find the hand held igniter. I really recommend that the owners provide a manual and written instructions for things. The large burner on the induction stove top doesn't work with the pans provided; tops for pots also are mismatched. However, all that doesn't matter if you don't plan to cook much. The outdoor seating is wonderful, we spent hours outside. It's a funky little beach house and an enjoyable piece of really unique piece of real estate.

We stayed here as a home base for our trip to Seattle with our children. The location to the ferry was very convenient, the view and kayaks they provided were wonderful, and the whole place is very clean and well furnished. As a cook I absolutely enjoyed the kitchen to prepare our Pike’s Market Place purchases in.

This cabin on the water was so beautiful, cozy and quaint. Had everything we needed. We would definitely come back. Thank you

We enjoyed our stay and the Beach Cottage. We actually live in the Puget Sound area but we take little weekend "staycations" now and then. We hunt for properties on the water.
For the cost, this is one of the best values and experiences we've had. Mike (host) was quick with communication and easy to work with.
The cottage is literally on the beach! Not many like this anymore. Easy access to the water for kayaking (kayaks, paddles, live vests included in the stay!), paddle boarding (we brought our own) and beach combing. Pet friendly is a major plus for us.
Everything you need for a great get away is here. Restaurants near by, stores and shopping. We scooted up the road about 20 min to Paulsbo on Sunday...was a blast.
I've seen posts about the place being a bit run down, not clean. So yes, it is an older property - in need of care. But is was very clean and comfortable.
The only cons are: the age (which we touched on) and the checkout time: 10am is a little early. Every other ABnB/VRBO we've stayed has an 11am check out with option to ask for late checkout (if there are no renters coming in that day). Stay late/hold up the cleaners is a $100 fine! Yikes.
All things considered, we will definitely be back the the Beach Cottage. It was time (and money) well spent.

Our family of 4 came for a quick weekend trip. The cottage is literally right on the water. The kids enjoyed kayaking and playing in the water. Cutest place you’ve ever seen! We had never been to the area, so we had a lot of questions. Mike and Rachel were very quick to respond to all of my inquiries.

This place is Amazing... The perfect spot to go relax. It was just myself and my younger son for a short break from working. We live local (Tacoma), but we will be back... It was very clean, all the amenities that you may need. The beds were very comfortable, and lots of windows to look out at the beauty, but you were rather be outside enjoying the sun and breeze. We just shopped local at WinCo for food needs, but close enough for restaurants and quick food if needed. As noted in a previous review, just make sure you bring your personal items (shampoo, soaps and such) but for me that is not an issue.
It was amazing watching the tide come and go which was so relaxing, and surprising as to how high it would come in. There were Harbor Seals, Cranes, Seagulls eating oysters, by dropping their shells over and over until they cracked the shell and was able to eat. Yes, we even saw an Eagle flying overhead.
The sunsets were beautiful. The stars were bright and my son even saw a shooting star, something you do not see in the city.
We were even allowed to have my older son and his girlfriend over for dinner one night. They loved it!!
It is the perfect place to stop and enjoy life and just Breathe... It's a great place to reconnect with family, or a loved one. I would recommend it highly!!!
