Historic building in nice location

Nice location with stores and restaurants in close proximity

No door on bedroom, no bedding supplied for second guest however host was receptive to the mistake as we were family members. Not possible to indicate this on Booking.com

A great stay in a well equipped modern apartment with free parking in an excellent location

Excellent historic location and a well equipped modern apartment in an old building with free underground parking nearby. Host was very attentive and responsive in person and online.

Airconditioning was faulty although host did everything possible to remedy it for our stay, plus the apartment has good cross ventilation and night time temperatures reasonable.

Excellent location and very friendly helpful host.

Brilliant location so could walk most places. Kitchen and laundry facilities great for a 4 night stay. Comfy bed and lounge space to relax in. Host very friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations of places to eat. An amazing old building.

The air conditioner was not very effective so no coolness got through to the bedroom. Would have been good to have a couple of extra towels for a 4 night stay.

Wonderful location. The host went out of her way to fulfil all my requests. The flat has a washing machine and dish washer which is helpful for a longer stay. The location, in the heart of the old town, is fantastic - lots of restaurants, bar, local facilities. Very charming. Also quite secure

Enjoyed our stay

Central location in the old city, a short walk to the Comodie square and Cathedral. On the first floor, no lift but stairs ok. Plenty of equipment for self-catering and close to a number of good local restaurants. Very comfortable bed. It’s a lively student neighbourhood, but not noisy at night.

Relaxing City Break

A comfortable first floor apartment centrally located in the historic centre. Clean, easy to connect with owner and access and had everything needed. Bed was comfy, the walk in shower was great. Perfect for a solo/couple travelling to enjoy all the shops, bakeries, bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The car park was approx. a 4 min walk and very useful. Would recommend and return.

Naturally for the location it was occasionally noisy quite late at night. Be prepared for the loud church bells opposite to wake you at 8am!

Very good

Sophie was a great host. since day 1 she kept in touch with us. she arranged for us self-check in and all instructions were clear, made our experience easy. Location is superb: you are in very heart of Montpellier old town. 5 min walk from Place de la Comedie. Sophie gave us, included in the price, parking badge to use Foch prefecture 24h underground parking. This is again 5 min walking distance. Kitchen is very well equipped with utensils to cook if you need. washing machine and dishwasher are all working and available.

Suggestion for improvement: 1) Sofa bed should have been provided with a ticker mattress otherwise tough for an adult. u 2) additional stuff for the k itchen: I.e. napkins rolls, Recycle bags 3) Toiletries 3) some mould in the bathroom

French style , old town feeling with modern interior.

In the heart of the city, everything in walking distance. If you came by car, the free parking is a real asset.

The couch was not that comfortable. The street is full of light and vivid, which makes sleep a bit more difficult.

Charming is the right description

Fantastic location, just a few hundred metres from Place de la Comedie, right behind la musée Fabre, so central but quiet. (Well, except that France made the world cup final which caused some excitement!). Everything in the apartment was spotless and it was very comfortable for the three of us.

A couple of bedside tables and another coffee table in the living room would have been handy, otherwise perfect.

The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos and was spotlessly clean. I found the bed very comfortable and the sheets were luxurious. The location was ideal for getting around. It is right behind the Musée Fabre, as advertised. Sophie was so helpful to this poor American. She was patient with my fractured French and went out of her way to help me get into and out of the apartment at the start and end of my three-week stay. She was also always available to answer questions and quickly got the TV back online after I pressed one too many of the wrong buttons on the remote. Two things to note, perhaps, for any Americans who choose to stay in this lovely place—there is a two-wheeled canvas covered shopping cart thingy that you’ll appreciate if you go out to get groceries. The apartment is in a pedestrian only part of town, which is one of its charms. If you are new to older European cities you may not know how much you’ll appreciate having one of these little cart things. I imagine most rental places have these but don’t mention it because European travelers may expect them? And there is a Nespresso machine which makes delicious coffee. The area is lively but not too much so. I enjoyed the street smells and sounds—bits of conversations, babies crying, maybe some music, a little cigarette smoke, someone’s delicious dinner cooking…. It was quiet at night and totally silent when I closed the windows. I found lots of nice places nearby to eat and shop including a small restaurant on the ground floor and a nice épicerie with local wines and gift items for your friends back home. You can see the shop from the living room windows. Absolutely every person I encountered in Montpellier was polite and kind. Oh except for one American who muttered “come on!” under her breath when apparently I didn’t get out of her way fast enough in the street. I’m a very slow moving “senior” citizen and use walking sticks to get around.

I can’t think of a thing! It was perfect and so was Sophie.

Unbeatable location. Everything you will need to accompany your stay. Dine in dine out. All you need is here. Great stay

If you want to experience Montpellier at its vibrant best look no further than this perfect apartment in the heart of the Old Town. Everything is happening within a short walk from the magnificent door yet it remains quiet and personal - except for the church bell, which tops the atmosphere off. Charming host on hand for our very late arrival. 10s all round.

That we weren’t able to stay longer. Next time!

Very good

Location is amazing: right in the heart of Montpellier so that you can explore everything by walking. Plenty of restaurants and shops around or just at walking distance. The apartment is well decorated and the style is nice. Bathroom is new and clean although small. There are all the needed facilities.

No elevator - so be careful if you have many bags. No cots for babies available.

This is great for a couple but not so good for more as this is a loft with no door for bedroom.

Very nice appartment and host, right in the center with parking not far

Location, right in the Viellie Ville and fwith good facilities Nice hosts, very helpful Recently refurbish with style Parking was very convinient, 5 minutes walk from the the appartment

I was in Saturday and the city centre can be noisy. The appartment is well insolated by still you can ear the parties. The appartment is a bit small but we were two adults and two small kids so that it was ok and we enjoyed out time.

Great apartment in a great location.

The owner met us to deliver the keys and show us around the apartment. She was very gracious and helpful in explaining the attractions and restaurants in the area.

There really is nothing negative to say. The apartment has recently been refurbished and is in very good condition. There is AC which is a blessing as the neighborhood is very active and it might be difficult to get to sleep on a busy night. Note there is only one bed and a fold-away couch which could be a little uncomfortable but OK for children.
