Ready to get away and relax in a quiet, private space, surrounded by a beautiful yard and garden? Our studio cottage offers a queen bed, adjustable arm wall flat screen TV and includes WiFi. Enjoy the privacy of your room or sit outside under the pergola, amidst the roses and succulents. We are located within minutes of fine dining, wineries, beaches, great hiking, beautiful parks and the main highway artery of 101 . The studio is detached from our home, has a separate entrance and parking is available. We also have laundry facilities available upon request. We're about 15 minutes from Healdsburg, 20 minutes from Kenwood, 40 minutes from Sonoma and 50 minutes from Napa.

Check in was easy and the space was great. My husband and I were in town to tour some vineyards in Healdsburg and Sonoma, so the location was perfect.

One of two cottages in an inviting private backyard. Close to Hwy 101, Safeway, Crooks Coffee downtown and several outstanding eating spots. Owner John fantastic. Definitely returning.

I joined my husband who was playing hockey at the Santa Rosa Snoopy rink. We were in close proximity to the rink as well as other necessities such as Safeway, a mall and many restaurants. This area offers so much and we were happy to pick up a take out and relax at John and Jeans place in comfort.

This was the right spot with the perfect amenities for my visit. I appreciated all of the thoughtful touches. The kitchenette had everything i needed. The studio was homey and comfortable. I enjoyed the scent of the jasmine wafting through the window. John was a warm and welcoming host. I couldn't have picked a better place to stay!

Would certainly return - John and Jean's little, sweet apt was all we needed and could have asked for. The gourmet coffee and creamer was a very nice touch, as was chocolates. We were so happy to have everything we needed all perfectly organized and as neat as a pin. The furniture was comfortable and the yard setting was beautiful. Someone knows how to grow flowers here! We certainly were also pleased with the neighborhood and location. 5 stars!

This is a lovely property - exactly as described and very clean. John was friendly and communicative throughout the process. The neighborhood is quiet, about 8 minutes from downtown Santa Rosa, with a large shopping center within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at this charming studio in Santa Rosa. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and inviting backyard, a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The host was incredibly accommodating and made us feel right at home. The studio itself was impeccably clean and stocked with all of the everyday essentials we needed. Plus there is a SafeWay just a short walk away. The location couldn't have been better. We were just a short drive away from all of the attractions we wanted to visit, including historic Railroad Square and the Charles M. Schulz Museum. We also enjoyed exploring the surrounding neighborhoods, which were full of great restaurants and shops. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Santa Rosa. We can't wait to come back!

I stayed here for 6 days during a visit back home to Santa Rosa, and it was just perfect for me. The central location and safe, quiet neighborhood were lovely. The inside unit and well cared for back yard were a gift to enjoy for 6 days. And communication with the owner was always smooth and easy. And the SHOWER. A nice shower and solid water pressure can make all the difference sometimes - and I'll tell you I was ready to just about move into that shower. Overall everything was excellent, for a solo traveler or a couple. I would absolutely stay here again. Highly reccomend.

Wife and I had a need for a stay in Sonoma County/Windsor area. We needed a place that was quiet and comfortable and not a large hotel or resort. This place fit the bill. The owner was easy to deal with and the description of the property was spot on.

The attention to the small things was amazing. From a high quality Koehler toilet, to Moen faucets, to large thick shower towels, to plush rugs to step onto as you got out of bed. The studio just kept getting better during our week stay. Thanks again J&J

We chose to stay here instead of trying to find a place in Healdsburg, mostly for the cost. It was a great idea! Very clean, quiet, and comfy. Nice backyard with tables and chairs to enjoy the outdoors.

The property is close to the highway so getting around the area is easy and there are plenty of amenities close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

John was a great host. The cottage was sparkling clean and well appointed. Nice extra touches, coffee, cream, tea and even chocolate! Comfortable bed and nice pillows, too. Quiet neighborhood, yet close to shopping. I highly recommend John and Jean’s cozy cottage!

The owners were really attentive, providing take out options. The suite was very clean and cozy. The one thing to be aware of is the entry through the carport to the patio has a steep step up/down. Not idea for anyone with walking or balance issues.

We have stayed here a couple of times when we are in the area for wine events. It’s a little bit of a drive but so much more affordable than calistoga. Plus it’s very close to Russian River Brewery!! Very comfortable and quiet place.

Secluded and separate, self-contained and convenient. We were looking for a place that would simple and accessible, with a geography that provided flexibility. We found that, and more. Nice place to stay. Communication and contact with the owners was effective and positive. Just the right amount -- not too much, not too little. All good. It’s hard to describe the feeling you have when you walk into the comfort you feel as you enter this Cozy Studio. It felt like you were walking into your own little vacation apartment. The attention to detail made you feel as if the owner appreciated you staying at their place. Honey for your tea, upgraded faucets, charging cords for the electronics by the bed, an air purifier. I could continue, you’ll have to check it out. It’s the little things, I noticed. We enjoyed the use of the backyard as we were in Santa Rosa for an event. It was really nice to be able to enjoy the outdoors hearing the running water from the water feature. Very peaceful. Really enjoyed staying here. Five Stars for this Cozy Studio!

Very well suited to our needs. Hosts were welcoming and warm but not intrusive. Storage space turned out to be more plentiful than anticipated. A nice retreat from busy days running from Healdsburg to San Rafael, Bodega Bay to Sacramento.

This was a great stay! The hosts had outstanding communication leading up to our visit as well as during. The place had all the right little touches and was convenient for visiting several wineries and restaurants. The added convenience of a grocery store just across the way was really helpful while traveling. Would highly recommend!

We came to Napa/Sonoma yearly to wine taste. The cottage was excellent, quiet, small with an electric fireplace for heat which we enjoyed, we ate breakfast in the morning, drank great coffee, and had a great sleep nightly. Bonus was the owner's beautiful back yard! Julie Wilson

Very nice studio. Everything was clean and in perfect condition. It is close to everything you need: groceries, restaurants and gas stations. And a quiet neighborhood. We will book this again when we visit Santa Rosa.

My husband and I were in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with our son, daughter in law and three grandchildren. We arranged to stay at John and Jean’s vrbo and it was a great decision. From the rosebud (cut from their rose bush) on the table, to the dish of chocolates, the coffee and half/half in the fridge, the beautiful thick, plush towels…these hosts are the best vrbo hosts I’ve ever been fortunate enough to get, by far. The studio was just as advertised (although I did not realize how many special touches they included!), and it was clean and just lovely. Even my husband, who doesn’t always focus on such things, was impressed. We will be looking up John and Jean the next time we come to Santa Rosa to see the kids!
