About this house rental
Historic 5 bedroom + study with daybed, 4 bath home in quaint college town. Perfect for family gatherings, bike tours or wine tasting. Sleeps 14 comfortably. Set amidst a rose garden with an outdoor gazebo in rear courtyard. MaMere's Guest House is charming, unique and colorful inside and out! Built in 1891 and on the National Register of Historic Places, it is a perfect home base to explore local vineyards, visit the coast, or just relax and enjoy a glass of wine amongst the beautiful flowers, while listening to music from the Monmouth Amphitheater in Main Street Park.
Monmouth is a safe and happy little town. Main Street Park is just across the street and has open-air concerts throughout July and August. Downtown Monmouth is dotted with restaurants and various local businesses, and Main Street is just a block away. Easy home base for touring local wineries, visiting your WOU student, graduation, family reunions and for enjoying the 4th of July festivities. Western Oregon University is 1 block away.

Wow!! My family and I were stunned from the moment we opened the door. It’s a gorgeous house, but the quirky artistic decor and the thoughtful details really made the stay something we will never forget. The communication was excellent, the”check-in” so painless- truly the most memorable place we have ever stayed in. I HIGHLY recommend these host and this beautiful home to anyone! Thank you so much!

Our family rented the entire house for a wedding nearby. The lovely historic house had all the space and amenities we needed to gather as a family and prepare for the wedding celebration.
The live music at the bar nearby was a little loud but they shut the music down by 11:00pm so it was no problem, plus our hosts provided ear plugs if anyone wanted to turn in early.
The outside patio is beautiful and we enjoyed our morning coffee out there.
We really appreciated all the little extras like the fresh cut flowers all over the house.

We loved almost everything about this home, from the restoration work, to the keurig in every bedroom (so nice for lazy mornings) to the backyard oasis, it was amazing. This housed seven of us comfortably, and plenty of bathrooms to boot. The only thing that would have made it better is a little more counter space in the kitchen, but we made do.
The house is one block off of the town's mainstreet and across the street from the park. It was a lovely location with access to all we wanted.
Communication with the hosts was quick and easy and the house had all the needed amenities. Beds were comfortable... all in all, a most wonderful vacation home and we highly recommend.

State Tourney
Location was perfect for our State Tournament at Western Oregon University. House was amazing and quirky and the kids absolutely loved it. Fit all 9 of us and could have fit 4-5 more. Great stay!!

Great place for wedding weekend!
This house was so adorable and comfortable! We stayed here with our families for our wedding weekend. Not only did it provide a convenient "home base" that was close to our wedding venue, but it provided a great atmosphere for the two families to get better acquainted. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable, and we had enough space to finish decorations and flowers. It was also really helpful to be able to cook our own meals. A super cute place that was a huge help during a wonderful weekend!

Just like the pictures
Mamere's Guest House is beautiful, just like the pictures. Our group of 9 was very comfortable with all the room and bed choices. There are so many more amenities than at other VRBOs - lots of small personal touches that make you know the house is well cared for and loved. We mostly gathered on the lovely patio for eating and card games. We walked to Crush and took up the entire bar for wine flights and dinner. (where folks are very nice!) We drove to Pacific City and climbed the dunes at Camp Kiwanda after enjoying a marionberry scone at the Grateful Bread Bakery. We hiked Silver Falls State Park, drank wine at J. Wrigley Vineyards and took in the gorgeous views from Mount Angel Abbey. And more! The weather was perfect! How wonderful it was to go back to our comfortable "home" in Monmouth after long days of exploring Oregon.

WONDERFUL place
We were all so impressed by all the special touches that made our stay so memorable. The history of the house and the effort to restore some of its special features were such a delight. Having games available in the library was a nice touch. Everything was well stocked and easily accessible. The rooms were a delight. The children enjoyed having the park so close by. We also enjoyed being able to walk to nearby restaurants. Everything was so well maintained.

This is a great property, particularly for a larger number of people. The charm and quirkiness of the vintage surroundings adds humor and warmth to the outstanding services provided. The owner was very personable and supportive during our stay.

Victorian Perfection
Our family loved staying at the Mamere house for the week before our sons wedding. The carriage house worked perfectly for hosting the rehearsal dinner and the pato provided beautiful seating for the extra guests, as well as an enjoyable rest in the evening with friends and a cold drink. We really enjoyed the music coming from the park on Wednesday night while having cocktails on the patio. The house has so much character and personality that everyone who came to visit requested to tour the house. Of course we said yes because we were thrilled to show it off! Emily went above and beyond when it came to making our stay as comfortable and stress free as possible, even providing a sewing kit when needed to get wedding clothes ready. We recommend anyone to stay at this awesome house as either a B&B or renting the whole house. We absolutely loved it!
