In a quiet neighborhood at the end of the street. There are many attractions in Lynchburg and surrounding areas, including art and historic museums--Amazement Square (children"s museum), Legacy Museum and many historic sites including Civil War sites ,just to name a few.

My sister and I totally enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything we needed was there and it was nice and comfortable. The hosts were so pleasant and helpful as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Our family enjoyed this cabin! It comfortably slept all 6 of us. We appreciated the supply of water in the fridge and the fact that they provided plenty of towels! The property was cute and clean. The hosts were right across the road and were super nice!

Thankful that I found this little gem in the mountains! It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after packing, cleaning and taking bins to the storage unit for my daughter. Thanks for the clean and cool place to stay at!

There is soo much to say about our stay! EVERYTHING was EXACTLY as described. Doug and Sherry are the PERFECT hosts, QUICK to respond to ANY questions. They went out of their way to help, whether it was with directions, suggestions for day trips including maps, and directions, or where to shop! Everything we needed to cook, etc was supplied. Staying for 6 months flew by, but the bond with the hosts WILL NOT!!!!!!!!! So MUCH so, they became a BIG influence on our making a decision to move to the area from northern New England!!! Can't find better! We'll DEFINATELY RETURN!!!!

This cute cottage is tucked away off the road and backs to woods. It’s very clean and in good condition. They have everything you need including little details like a fly swatter, flashlight and even a pair of reader glasses which I always lose! Well stocked kitchen with toaster, coffee pot, microwave; washer and dryer, floor fan, luggage holder, blow dryer and bath towels. Also found some games, cards and puzzles. Has front porch partly covered with table and chairs and a cushioned two seater. Out back has little porch , fire pit and corn hole. Didn’t see any bugs! Beds were comfortable which is always a concern for me. We were visiting our nephew at Liberty Univ. and we were able to bring him to the house to eat and hangout which we couldn’t do in a hotel. I highly recommend this home. The owners were quick to respond.

Owners were terrific with accomodating our last minute stay! My sons and i really enjoyed our time here. Excellent place to reconnect with each other and nature while being close to everything. We would definitely recommend and look forward to a return trip!

Not walkable so while it's close to Liberty one must drive. The host was easy to reach and very helpful with one issue we faced.

Sherry and Doug’s place is quite quaint and fully furnished. The kitchen is impressive as it is stocked with the tools needed to cook and serve any meal. I feel I could have canned a harvest of tomatoes with the huge pot I found in the cupboard!

The hosts were so kind to leave bottled water in the fridge and fresh flowers on the kitchen table. The sheet on the sofa bed was kind of dirty, but we were able to find spare sheets. We never found sheets for the cot but just used queen size sheets. Worked fine. We were very satisfied with our stay. Thank you.

Rustic, comfortable, clean, safe, home. Felt like visiting grandparents house. Host was easy to work with. Check in process was super easy. Check out even easier. Very generous host. Kids loved the nature hike down to the creek. Caught a crawfish and some snails. Wife took a run along the road, beautiful mountain area. And the price was exceptional. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay while we were in town for my graduation! It was far enough away from liberty that we were able to avoid traffic and still close enough to get there easily! It was centrally located between downtown and the campus. Highly reccomend! It was quiet and we enjoyed seeing deer and drinking coffee of the porch!

This is out in the country so it is nice and private. But, you can be anywhere in the Lynchburg area in 20 minutes or less. A great spot and a comfortable house. The host was great.

The location was great. The rooms were just what we needed. The provisions met our needs for our visit with friends in the Lynchburg area. We would consider staying again if in the Lynchburg community.

My husband and I were so appreciative for this adorable cottage! Sherry and Doug accepted our very-last minute request, and we were very blessed by the convenient location and the attention to detail the owners took in making guests fee special! The personal details - flowers on the table, cold water bottles in the fridge, the air conditioner on for us after a sweltering day of moving our daughter into LU, and coffee for us to make in the morning for motivation - they thought of it all!! The price, the location, the comfortable beds, the perfect water pressure, the sweet artwork, the charming living room, the home-away-from home feel…we will absolutely return!!

We were so thankful for the quiet house so close to our event at LU. The space was just what we needed to rest in between the busy schedule. Loved that each room had their own AC/ heat so everyone slept comfortably. Would def stay again!
