About this house rental
We welcome you to our beautiful lake house with its comfortable tastefully decorated interior and fantastic lake views. The house and its contents are all fresh and well maintained. Everything is in great shape. We bought this house and furnished it as if we would want it to be if we lived here year round. Relax in front of the fireplace and the (new in late 2023) 65” smart TV with surround sound or choose to hang-out on the large covered composite decks with ceiling fans and outdoor speakers on comfortable patio furniture, and enjoy the boats , the wildlife, outdoor speakers, and the view. If it is rainy or you just want to stay inside, watch movies or TV on our two large flat screens with satellite and Blu-Ray or play any of several board or video games. We also added Starlink for internet, so streaming if available through the Smart TV, Apple TV or your devices. . Or, since you are at the Lake, take a swim off our swim platform or fish off the huge dock. Bring your own boats and/or jet-skis. We have a covered dock available for you to use that has a 14’ by 36’ slip and space for a wave-runner or more to tie up in back of the dock. Or there is plenty of room to tie up alongside the very large dock.
Our house is on one of the absolute best parts of the Lake near the 6 mile marker on the Gravois Arm. We are in a quiet cove perfect for watersports. We are within minutes from the most popular restaurant/bars on the lake. We have a community area for trailer storage and plenty of parking with a 2 car garage and outdoor parking for 5 more cars. There is a nearby launch ramp for putting in your jet ski or boat. Several gas docks are close with The Gas Hole right around the corner in Soap Creek as well as Mermaid Cove just one cove over. Coconuts, Jolly Rogers, and Lake Burger are all within 2 miles by water from here. Shady Gators and the H. Toad complex are close by, too. Lake Ozark and Osage Beach are a mere 15-20 minutes away by the newly repaved W Road. Everything you need is so convenient for groceries, shopping, movie theaters, restaurants, golf courses, the outlet mall, Bagnell Strip, go-karts, water park, etc.
We have been coming to the Lake and renting houses for many years. All the houses we rented before buying this one were nice, but they each also lacked something. Our home is perfect for everyone, we are sure of it. We have two living areas, three bedrooms each with King beds, bunk beds with double bed bunks and a trundle, and plenty of seating/lounging area. If you like to entertain, you will love our big kitchen with all the gadgets and appliances you will need. On the entry level, there is a large Master Bedroom with King Bed, Balcony and Private 5 piece bath. We furnish the dishes, cookware, appliances, extra large washer/dryer, hair dryers, and bed and bath linens. We also provide basic supplies such as paper towels and toilet paper, trash bags, dish and laundry detergent and ice. Please provide replacements for these supplies together with your own beach blankets and towels, personal toiletries, cleaning supplies, camera, fishing gear, life vests, water toys, sun-screen and binoculars.
PLEASE NOTE: we try to limit JULY rentals to 7 night minimums, Saturday to Saturday. This will include the last few days of June to the first few days of August, depending upon the way the calendar falls. All rates are based upon 10 person occupancy. $10 per night fee for guests in excess of that number. All renters are required to provide their address and telephone numbers as well as a listing of all occupants and their ages for inclusion in a personalized lease the primary renter must sign.

Very happy with view and location. Description of rooms could be more accurate. We had 6 adults and 7 children only 7 beds. We made it work with couches. Also alot of wasps. I know it's summer and have to deal with insects. Overall we were happy.

Great house in a great location with plenty of comfy beds and room for our large family. We spent most of our time on the dock fishing and swimming during the days and then grilling on the deck at night.
The only drawback was the home owner requiring a second lease and asking for our personal credit card info which we didn’t provide him. The 2nd lease also had some odd costs like $25 to move a chair back to the right place. It also required us to take numerous pictures of the grill before and after use to prove we didn’t leave it a mess other wise he would have charged us an additional $100 to clean it. Although it was filthy when we arrived.
Overall we had a great time and it was a great fit for our family.

Me and my friends every year for 8 years straight, take a fishing. We are all 30+ all of us married most of us with kids. We cleaned up more than most as we were leaving. Vaccumed the carpets, swept off both decks even mopped up the kitchen floor and i personally scrubbed off the dock to remove any evidence that we were fishing. Scrubbed off the grill cleaner than it was when we got there and set him a picture as was required. His response was to "please clean the grill again". Threw all towels in the washer as asked. Basically left the house cleaner than when we arrived. After a couple days i get a message that he is charging me extra for damage that we flat out did not do. Said he found superglue in a sink when no one at the place had any glue. Said he found hot spots on his kitchen table from not using hot pads. I personally did all the cooking and always used hot pads and never used the kitchen table. Those hot spots were there when we arrived. Somehow claimed we damaged the fireplace glass tint and no of us even know the place had a fireplace. Charged me for a towel that had a dime sized discoloration and he's charging me to replace it when we diden't wash the towels his cleaning lady did. The only thing we may have been guilty of was not using a coaster so an end table had a water ring that could take 5 min to clean. This man is a scam artist. Don't rent this place unless you are willing to scrub the floor with a tooth brush.

The view of the lake from the house and even to dock are beautiful. This house has tons of room for multi families to each have their own space. Kitchen and dining room was big enough to fit everyone as well. The house was stocked with plenty of amenities. Grill was pretty decent to cook on too. We spent a lot of our time on the dock or in the water. Concrete dock tiles were great, better than a wood deck during the hottest days. The dock was also equipped with the best stairs/ladder for getting in and out of the water. Nice deep water for jumping and diving. During busy days the water can get pretty choppy. My family and I would definitely stay here again!!

We had a great stay at this beautiful home on the lake! The house is equipped with everything you need for comfort and convenience while you are there. It was really nice having two refrigerator/freezers and the ice makers were an added bonus. The swim dock was great and there was a boat slip with power. We were looking for a quieter part of the lake so we appreciated that people in the nearby houses were respectful and not disruptive.
You don't have to travel too far by boat to find places to eat, drink, or listen to music. The only thing we would have liked is some sort of a path to walk/hike on. The dirt road leading to the cabin was obviously very dusty and there was no shoulder or sidewalk to walk on. We did visit Lake of the Ozark State Park and Ha Ha Tonka State Park but it was a pretty good drive to get some hiking in.
The owner was nice to work with and communicated well.

This property was amazing. There were 8 adults and 6 children and we had plenty of room for everyone. The property was very clean and well equipped. The kids and us adults had a great time at the dock, swimming and taking in the sun. The view from the house was wonderful too. Plenty of things to do and not once did any of the kids say "I'm bored". The owner was very helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this property and would stay again.

We had 8 of us in our group, made up of family and friends. This house provided exactly what we were looking for. There was plenty of space both upstairs and downstairs, including the decks. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed to be comfortable and to enjoy our meals and time together. The view of the lake was great! We also enjoyed swimming and floating off the dock. The owner was very helpful with making suggestions for best places to go on the lake and the nearby area. We will definitely return!

Eight adults enjoys long weekend during the off season, just fishing and playing games. Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen well stocked as we cooked a lot. Windows and deck are in great need of a power washing. Hard to keep clean but there were tons of bugs and filth on the windows and doors.
We’d rent this place again. I suspect during the summer the boat activity would be very busy but fishermen seem to search the area out all day.

Great Family Time at the Lake
Great lake house. Our family, six adults, spent a week at this beautiful house. The house has a great layout with two decks with terrific views.
The dock was great for swimming, floating and just hanging out. Also your just 5 minutes from Jolly Rogers.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Love to come back next year.

Parents 50th anniversary get away
We had a great time staying for my parents 50th anniversary celebration. The family was able to get together after a year off from covid restrictions. We were able to boat two days, kids enjoyed swimming off the dock, we fished every night. Catching some of the biggest catfish we have ever seen..one weighing 13 lbs. there were a few hiccups with the bugs/spiders outside but that’s expected for that area. The tv was a little confusing to figure out but was able to call Stuart and get it figured out. He answered every question I had. The only thing we would reconsider is the steps. My older folks had a time with them. But once down to the dock it was very nicely setup with chairs. It rained the first day for half the day. But the weather was nice and clear the next days for Labor Day weekend. Stuart had a few requests for checkout day which were I would consider the normal cleaning up after yourselves. If your looking for a comfortable homey great location home. This is it!

The house was very well set up with the exception of the overly complicated entertainment center that took days to figure out. The first and second floor decks were very nice with fans, lights and a great view of the lake. The dock was a great place to hang out at all day long. The Adirondack chairs were awesome to sit and bask in the sun. The dock was also equipped with a large ladder for getting in and out of the water which was 25' deep. The second boat slip was nice with room for our 19' boat and wave runner. The only drawback was there were no cleats to moor the boat . The only negative I would say was that the house was very poorly cleaned. We washed all the sheets, some of the towels and all bathroom rugs. I talked with owner and he said that he had recently switched cleaning services and wasn't sure what happened. We found Tide pods put in the liquid detergent tray in the washing machine so apparently the cleaning person didn't know how the washer worked. This house would be 5 stars in my book if it were cleaned sufficiently.

Girls Getaway
We were in town for a girls weekend. It was one of the most relaxing weekends I have had in the last few years. That side of the lake is so peaceful, not much noise at all! The house had plenty of space for all of us. The mattresses were a big hit, many of the girls kept saying how great they slept and how the mattresses in this home was so much better than the ones they had at their own home.

We rented this property as a work leisure trip for our small business employees & their families. It had everything we needed for cooking, cleaning & sleeping! Rocky Mount - Gravois Arm
Stuart Morse was a very helpful host. He made sure we were fully informed and went out of his way to accommodate us. The property is as pictured and is fairly well taken care of considering it is rented continually. The cleaning crew could be quite a bit more conscientious, but I don't think this reflects on the owners. Overall, the property is a good one and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Stuart is an amazing host - kind, cooperative, and responsive.
House is amazing, just right for our troop of 4 adults and 5 kids. It has all the amenities expected from a cozy home-like rental. Located just a few miles from Village Marina (Bombay Boat Rentals provides a discount to renters).
Stuart will himself tell you, the internet is not the best on property so use this time for Digital Detox or carry your hotspot device and you'll not be disappointed.
Overall, really enjoyed our stay and hope to relive the beautiful memories in a future visit.

We used the house with some friends to getaway for my Girlfriends Birthday and everyone had a great time. The house was spacious, clean, plenty of comfortable places to sleep, plenty of bathrooms, the decks are large, and there’s plenty of parking. The dock is good sized and there is a vacant slip which we utilized. Definitely would stay again.

WONDERFUL!!
Our stay at this property was WONDERFUL! No other way to describe it. The location on the lake is perfect for families. We spent hours on the deck, jumping in the lake and fishing. The house was beautiful - well furnished, clean, well stocked and lots of room to spread out or spend time together. Stuart was a wonderful host - checked in with us multiple times, offered suggestions for boat and jet ski rental, fishing charter and more. We can't wait to return next year! The property worked well for our family. I appreciate that every couple/kids had their own bath. The boat slip is well setup and does a nice job of preventing damage to your boat. The area does see some skier activity so use your fenders. The covered patio has lots of fans so enjoying the decks is peasent even on a warm day. Would rent again.

Great place for families. Bunk was great for kids. Swim dock and decks were wonderful with pretty lake views. Nicely decorated. Minuses were washing machine was not great. Dryer took forever. Ice maker jammed several times and was time consuming and messy to clean up. Bathroom towels very shabby. Five people cut/stubbed their toes on trundle frame. The sharp corners of breakfast scratched my arms 3 times. Very sharp! Overall, a good place to stay.

What more could you need?!
This is our second time staying in the Morse's home. Its a large 4 bedroom home . with everything you need. Three of the bedrooms have king beds and the fourth has a bunk bed. There are two living rooms one upstairs and one down , and two porches with incredible views of the lake. Also, the kitchen has plenty of space to cook in. The dock is where you will love to spend most of your time. Perfect spot for lounging, getting some sun, fishing or jumping in for a swim. Even a slip to tie your boat if your bring one or rent one. Our kids spent most of their time there.
Stewart is a wonderful host. He responds quickly and is a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this home as your vacation home if your planning a trip to the lake.
