About this bed and breakfast
Spacious casita that sleeps 2-4 opens up to a beautiful pool (opened year round but not heated), spa and courtyard area (shared with homeowner.) This paradise retreat tucked away in the beautiful addition of Smoking Oak will make you forget you are in Norman until you discover it's proximity to campus (1.5 miles) Discounted weekly rates apply. Parking spot available. His and her bicycles available for guest use. The casita has one bedroom, one full bathroom, large living room area, kitchenette with microwave, 4 burner stove top, toaster oven, full size fridge, and Keurig coffee maker. Includes pots, pans, blender, and dining essentials. The living room has a Queen sofa Sleeper and is equipped with a large 62" HD TV with full COX cable service, Blu-ray player, and an X-Box original.
If it's an OU game day, we are most likely hosting a before/after gathering out back, come join us! If it's summertime, we will most likely be in the pool. Occasionally neighborhood friends/kids come to swim. This is our home but we are happy to share pool and patio areas with our guests. (2-4 guests max) We do have 2 friendly family dogs, that we let out back. They are usually outside in the backyard when we are home. If we are not home the dogs are inside.

This was the perfect place to stay while we visited Oklahoma for the Women’s College World Series. Our daughter also played in a softball tournament during our stay. The host family was extremely friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and met our needs. The pool and the dogs were a huge bonus!

This property was beautiful and felt like a very safe place for our young adult children to stay without out. The pool and hot tub were prefect as the pictures. The house was well stocked with essential things you don't even think about till you need it, like aluminum foil, salt, and other little things. Hosts were great, and the family dog was the sweetest.

Great location for my family close to campus to get my kids to and from summer camps. Perfect to have full sized fridge and space for groceries for making lunches. My husband worked from home during day no issues. Pool wonderful option for kids and shaded areas for hot Oklahoma summer. Thank you!

We were in town to see family. The cabana was in the perfect location for us. The Cabana was clean and had everything we needed! My kids loved the backyard and getting to play with the kids too. We will definitely book here again for our next visit!

My daughter and I stayed here when she was at the OU girls Bball camp. It was the perfect size for the two of us. Quiet, safe neighborhood, close to campus, close to great food options. Hosts were nice and had great communication. Their dog came to say hello. :) Hotel pricing was similar and it was so nice to have our own space.

We loved the pool and jacuzzi. The guest house was great also. Very clean and comfortable. The shower was nice and so was the furniture. The owners were very communicative and super nice. We enjoyed talking with them. If we are back in the area we would stay there again for sure.

Came for graduation. The place was clean, relaxing and very close to campus. Owners very nice. Only wish we had more downtime to relax and enjoy the lit backyard. All went well!

Great Spot in Norman and comfortable
Would definitely recommend…Host gave us privacy but when we communicated they were always quick to respond…Enjoyed relaxing and got to use the hot tub all the nights we were there. It was Clean and up to date and kitchen was functional for our needs. We will go back in the future.

Perfect hidden Gem
Couldn’t have honestly been better for our trip to see the Sooners dominate. Close to campus, great hosts , wonderful kids and a fun dog! Pool was perfect for pre gaming. The wife and I will be back if we get a opportunity for sure!

Lovely Casita
Very easy check in process, wonderful to have access to property without disturbing the owners. Such a clean up to date little guest house with everything you could possibly need. Had a little trouble with booking but it was VRBO issue. Shannon was very helpful and very understanding when we had to cut our trip short because one of my dogs passed unexpectedly. Would be a great place for someone to stay during parents weekend. Thank you again!!

Delightful Experience
The online photos of the casita and the backyard setting capture your attention but the reality is even better. The neighborhood is beautiful and conveniently located. The host family is gracious. We were travelling with our dog. He had a fun time playing with the resident dog and the hosts were accomodating about making her available for playtime. We would definitely book again.

POOLSIDE OASIS
I've stayed at many places, but this has to be one of my favorites. Shannon and Katie were flawless in their communication and incredibly helpful from my very first question to the final text of check out. It was the perfect space for a gathering of my brothers. We used the grill, made awesome food, and enjoyed the beauty of the poolhouse casita and pool itself. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

Wonderful OK property
We had a great week in the Cabana. The yard and pool were wonderful, and the owners were very gracious to allow us private access. They also provided helpful suggestions about the surrounding area and were very friendly. My only concern was that there was not a washer/dryer on the property, but that is clear in the listing. If we stayed longer, I would have asked for a refresh on the towels after all the swimming we did.

Memory Lane Trip
We were in tow to see the sights I haunted in high school, check out the eateries/breweries and pick up some cool OU gear. Our hosts were amazing. They accommodated an extra night when we needed it, were pet friendly and gave a lot of advice about places to see in town. We will definitely stay here again next year. Thanks guys!

AMAZING Stay!
We had a really lovely stay here. The guest house is well-appointed with most anything you could need during your stay (even a dishwasher!). We are a family of 4 and the space worked well for my husband and I sleeping in the bedroom and our kiddos sleeping on the pull-out. The outside space is so beautiful and relaxing. Our kids could have stayed busy for days!!
Shannon and Katie are incredible hosts, and the fact that they've been doing it for years is apparent. They were so friendly, communicative and accommodating. They made the stay such a pleasure!

The Perfect Cabana!
The Cabana is the perfect place to stay. The backyard 'resort' is beautiful and love the homage to the University of Oklahoma on the inside. The best part was having the opportunity to meet the sweetest little family that owns the property. Thank you Shannon and Kate for being so awesome! Already have it booked for our next trip. Yay!

A little disappointed
Casita was very comfortable and well stocked with the essentials. We booked this location because of the location, the casita looked perfect. The biggest draw to this location was the pool and hot tub. When we arrived the pool was full of leaves. Granted the time of year this will happen, but it appeared that no one cared that we were arriving. The hot tub was not working. Basically, although the casita was nice the attraction of having access to a pool and hot tub was removed from our experience.

A True Oasis in Norman
We had a great experience in Norman! Shannon was a huge help in getting us settled in for our stay. The guest house was spotless, the pool and hot tub worked wonderfully, and we had their grill working overtime! Shannon was even kind enough to allow us to use their bicycles for an afternoon ride. Neighborhood Jam and The Winston both serve amazing brunch, so don't miss out on those!
