Sunset Marsh was renovated in Spring 2019, and is a beautiful 1800 sq ft. custom built duplex (lower unit) just 7 blocks from the Atlantic Ocean. Just a short walk to local restaurants, shopping, local grocery and churches. Perfect for multi-generational groups or families with children...NO PARTY PEOPLE. Located on a secluded cul-de-sac in a family neighborhood with almost no through traffic. Situated on pristine tidal waters, this home affords privacy, while being located close to the action. Featuring large master bedroom, oversized walk-in shower, and French doors that open to the secluded deck. Enjoy spending time with family and friends viewing the most beautiful sunsets Wrightsville Beach has to offer. The view offers the unique opportunity to watch the abundant wildlife including Great Blue Herons, Snowy Egrets, Pelicans and many more.

This property is and up/down duplex...this rental is for the lower unit. The upstairs unit in occupied year-round.

All reservations (except monthly rentals) include a linen package at no additional cost. The linen package includes all bedding, personal towel sets for each guest, beach towels, bath mats, and a kitchen towel set.

Entertainment - Highspeed Wi-Fi at Sunset Marsh. There is a TV in the living room, and 3 of the bedrooms. The TVs are either smart TVs or come with a Roku device and are pre-loaded with streaming apps and internet Television stations. Several are also equipped with TV antennae for access to local channels and sports. All have spare HDMI and usb ports for connecting other devices you may want to bring from home.

In addition to our full linen package, we provide all rentals with starter rolls of toilet paper, a liquid hand soap dispenser at each sink, 3 dishwasher cleaning tabs, and trash bags in each can. Sunset Marsh has a vacuum, Swiffer mop, a bottle of multi-purpose cleaning spray, glass cleaner, and a set of cleaning rags (you are not required to clean, but these items are there if you do need them). You will need to bring personal toiletry items (soap shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, etc.), food and condiments, additional paper products, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, fabric softener, Kleenex, trash bags, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, etc.

Property requires seven night stay during peak season, Saturday to Saturday. If still available less than 1 week out, dates may be reserved for stays shorter than 1 week (usually 3/4 night minimum). Pets accepted with $100 fee.

Hurricane Policy - At no additional cost to you, all Sun Coast Vacation Rentals reservations include our Hurricane Protection Plan. If your property is subject to a mandatory evacuation order for any reason, you will receive a prorated refund for rent and taxes for any unused nights that the order is in effect.

Sorry no student, off season rentals...we're just not set up for it. We recommend Bryant Real Estate if you are a student looking for a rental during the school year.

There were two problems with this property that I didn't expect for the money I paid. Problem 1 is the internet didn't work for the first two days of our stay. It finally corrected itself. The second problem is that we killed 5 large beetles/roaches in the facility during our 9 day stay. I wouldn't expect that for the 5-star money we were paying.

Down for graduation at UNCW, great location, comfy beds, and a very spacious floor plan. Deck was wonderful to sit, relax, and let the dog hangout on. There was a gate so she couldn’t get off. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

This property was better than we expected. It’s at the end of the street, which provided extra privacy. Quiet neighborhood. Great for walking/biking. Short drive to the beach. The view from the back deck was beautiful! Jon was quick to respond to any questions. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This property was perfect for our Thanksgiving Family gathering. We were all very comfortable in the space and the kitchen was everything we needed to prepare such a large meal. There was plenty of room to seat 10 people at the dinner and were able to eat on the large porch to ensure the beautiful view and weather. The bedroom’s easily accommodated the 7 of us who stayed at the house. We were also within walking distance to the restaurants, beach, and festivals happening in town. All around great experience, great house and fantastic location.

We had an amazing time in this beautiful home. We loved everything about our stay. Jon was very helpful in coordinating a couple of things for us. I would highly recommend this home if you are looking for a great place 2 minutes from the beach.

We really enjoyed this stay. The location is great and walkable to numerous restaurants. The view of the water is very nice. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living are all nice, clean, and updated. HVAC and lights were perfect. The back patio is also so nice - we sat and talked and enjoyed the view. We knew this was a duplex with a first and second floor, however, we did not not find out there was an upstairs tenant until we checked in. It was not a big issue for us, but you could hear the kids running. Again, not an issue for us, but could be for any future high maintenance vacationers. We would stay here 100 out of 100 times.

The fantastic condo, stunning view and amazing location all created wonderful memories for my parents' 60th anniversary. All 7 adults and 3 dogs had plenty of space inside and enjoyed grilling out on the patio. The host was gracious and available for questions. We couldn't have asked for anything more to celebrate our weekend together.

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The property was in a great location, was very clean, comfortable and had lots of space. The sunsets over the salt marsh off the back porch are incredible. All the extras including the beach chairs, umbrellas and kayaks are really nice to have there.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay; we did have a few reservations, though. The house was very pretty, beds were comfortable, towels and sheets were nice quality, the back deck was a lovely with nice views of the marsh, and walking distance to restaurants and the beach was a plus. The biggest complaint was there was no mention that the house butts up to the parking lot of an elementary school – so the glow of the parking lot lights and school-related activities are inescapable. Because it was summer, there wasn’t much going on but during the school year, there would be considerably less privacy and a lot more noise/traffic (the house is not exactly on a cul-de-sac, as advertised). While there are lovely French doors in the master bedroom, they do not open on to a private deck as described – they open on to the one, communal deck. The kitchen is not adequately equipped – for a house that advertises sleeping eight (which could be 8 adults), there were two wine glasses; barely enough mis-matched dishes; no large cooking pot (e.g., for pasta or corn-on-the-cob, which was abundant in the stores); scratched, small, teflon pans (a no-no for many health reasons); and no cutting boards other than plastic sheets. It is not a cook’s kitchen, so if you like to cook or will be cooking for a group, bring your own stuff (e.g., large pot, sharp knives, decent bottle opener, cutting board). Communication with the property manager was virtually nonexistent – and the address was not revealed until a day or two before our arrival, despite attempts to find out exactly where we would be staying for weeks prior. Description says no partyers, but that doesn't apply to the upstairs tenants. Basically, criticisms could be rectified with a few key investments, better communication, and an accurate description of the property.

We were in town for our friends wedding and this place was perfect! Spacious rooms, new appliances and comfortable for 6-8 of us on our weekend stay! We met the gentlemen that managed the place and he as so kind and helpful! It’s about a 10 min walk to the beach and perfect location for us! We highly recommend this place!

The place was exactly as the picture depict. Neighborhood was quite and the view of the sun setting over the marsh was gorgeous. Lots of beach toys and supplies on sight. Also, we have stayed in many rentals for ver the years and this one was the cleanest by far. No detail was overlooked. It’s spacious and an all around lovely place.

My Fiancé and I were very pleased with the property. It was clean and updated. It was very close to the beach and all the restaurants we enjoy eating at. We loved that we were able to take our golden retriever with us. The only thing I’ll add is that you can hear the upstairs tenants and they were night owls majority of our stay. Jon was super attentive and understanding. We would stay again.

Enjoyed the home and location. The size and features allowed for easy family entertaining. The fenced yard was great for our goldens and family as well. We rented not expecting to be ocean front but nice marsh views. Also very clean compared to some prior rentals which is a priority for us.
