Great river view, the screened in porch was amazing. Very nice location, but a high amount of train traffic.

This was our 2nd year of staying at this property. Perfect for myself and 6 of my friends. Great girls weekend. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of bar hopping.
The only thing missing is an electric mixer. Otherwise this property had everything we needed.

We loved everything about this home. The house was beautifully decorated and the owners were easy to contact. Fantastic view overlooking the Mississippi River especially in October. Plenty of places to visit and things to do close by.

We had so much fun staying at this peacock themed house. We loved all the quirky details. The house was very clean and well kept. Lots of loud trains go by often but after awhile you don’t even hear them anymore. Nonetheless, It was a very relaxing stay! I highly recommend.

This house is amazing!! Donna has decorated this Clue-themed house absolutely beautifully!! She even left us a treasure hunt in the house - we did it and had a blast despite the fact that we are all older adults. We came to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday and the house was the perfect mix of relaxing, yet filled with things to do both in the house and in the area. Most of the 5 of us are bird watchers, and it was great to see eagles, pelicans, and many other birds over the Mississippi. Also rabbits, groundhogs, and other wildlife around. We ended up taking a tour of the backwaters of the Mississippi nearby to the house, which was amazing. Everyone greatly appreciated the abundance of towels for use after hot tub and showers. A truly beautiful place to spend a few days in the gorgeous Driftless area of WI, and we would certainly consider coming back here again or to one of Donna and Todd's other properties - thanks for a great stay, Donna!!

We just got home from a week at this property. We spent a relaxing week playing games, binge watching TV, hot tubbing, sitting on the deck watching nature and stars. This was a great property for our family. We had plenty of space. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had almost everything we needed. The only thing missing was a 9x13 pan. We made it work with 2 smaller pans that were there. I was very impressed with the variety of things provided in the house. I will gladly look for this property or another from these owners if we decide to vacation in that area again.

Just the view we wanted! And the size of the house! Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, great supply of wood for the fire pit, kitchen well stocked, information about the house and the area, and the host always responded in a timely manner.

Exceeded Expectations
Great view of the river. We took advantage of the outdoor seating, including the upstairs deck, the screened-in porch, or around the fire ring in the evening. Everything exceeded our expectations!

Great Family Getaway!
We were looking for a family getaway that was pet friendly, had a water view and most importantly a hot tub. Thankfully it lead us to Ferryville and we loved our experience and look forward to making a return visit.
The house was impeccable and the whimsical decor was fun. We throughly enjoyed our road trip getaway.

Hot tub weekend success
Our group of 8 friends loved staying at this property! The place is wonderfully clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, using the hot tub, and enjoying the view of the Mississippi.

Perfect weekend getaway for old friends!
There is so much to love about this vacation home! The cool, colorful decorating style with perfectly coordinated accents provided such a warm welcome. The hot tub enabled us to thoroughly relax. The home was clean and had every possible kitchen or bathroom item one might need while traveling with friends or family. This house could easily hold two families with children.
Although we were there during the winter, we all thought it would be a GREAT place to rent during a summer trip due to the fabulous view, proximity to the river & the large deck. We definitely recommend this home and renting from these owners!

Quiet getaway with plenty of discs!
If someplace can be both a getaway she still be not too far removed this is the spot. We were able to take Advantage of some of the trails locally. Most of which within a half-hour drive. Lacrosse s as kid not too far away!

Relaxing visit
We stayed over thanksgiving with some friends and this was a great place to be able to gather, but also have spaces to escape to for some quiet. The hot tub was a great benefit on cold evenings and provided a great vantage point for beautiful sunsets over the Mississippi.

Beautiful views in the Driftless Region
We spent three nights & this location was a great basecamp for hiking, driving the River Road, and checking out the small towns in the area. Lots of space, everything you need to cook, strong wifi, and the hot tub was perfect after long days!

Great experience
This property offered a lot of room for my family, and the view over the river was breathtaking. It was great to bring our dogs with too, though I was unprepared for the rule that dogs can't be on furniture. I would recommend adding that to the posting as I very well couldn't keep my dogs off furniture when they aren't trained to do so previously. Otherwise great experience!

Staycation
We staid here with our friends and enjoyed exploring the nearby towns and coming home and soaking in a hot tub off of our room. We bbq’d and lit the fire pit to roast marshmallows. Great overall experience.

The owners clearly take a lot of pride in providing a nice experience for their guests. They have put a lot of time, money and effort into the property to make it very nice for guests. We had no issues, and everything was very nice.

Adorable cabin!
We had a fabulous time on the river enjoying the view from the upper deck and lounging in the hot tub. The house is so homey and decorated with flair. Our only complaint is a lack of very basic kitchen items. Cooking included a lot of work arounds due to a lack of basic pots and pans as well as utensils. That being said we would go back in a heart beat just bring whatever you might need in the kitchen!

Lovely rural Wisconsin getaway
This was a perfect rural staycation spot for us. We brought all the food we needed and then just spent our time hanging out in the family room, on the deck and in the hot tub. Spacious lovely home away from it all with great views, especially at sunset.

Best Friends
The location is very nice. House decorated neat. We would stay again next year if a few things are addressed. Pots and pans could be updated. Hot tub was over filled and the wasps were bad in the afternoon.

Great property with lots of space
The place was perfect for our group. Lots of space with different areas to hang out and the hot tub was a hit with everyone. We cooked several meals and the kitchen worked out great. The upper deck with the automated sun shade was a nice spot to sit and relax. Owners were easy to work with and good communication.

Beautiful house, beautiful view
My husband & I stayed here in August to do some hiking and meteor watching. The house was immaculate, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The views from the decks were awesome. My favorite part was the hot tub in the screened in porch...heaven! The only thing to be aware of is the location. The house is right on highway 35 and there is a train track between the highway and the river. If you are a train enthusiast this is place is perfect! If you are looking for total silence this is not the house for you. Overall we loved it and Todd & Donna are fantastic.

Relaxing Get Away
We were not looking for a lot of excitement, just a nice place to rest, with a hot tub, close to fishing spots. It provided all of this. If you are looking for places to eat out, not a lot close, but the home provided everything you need if you want to cook in. You will need to bring groceries as the closest we found was Prairie du Chien. Nice fishing spots in Ferryville. The storm knocked out the TV for one night but it was a nice couple of days away. Owners were very kind and have some other properties in the same area.

Beautiful home with amazing river views!
We had a great stay at this lovely home for a long weekend. Very clean, extremely well decorated with comfortable beds and furniture. Our favorite things were drinking coffee on the deck overlooking the river, dipping in the hot tub after a day of hiking and relaxing by the fire with more river gazing. We would definitely recommend this amazing property for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. The owners truly thought of every detail to make it an enjoyable stay.

Great time in this small river town
The home was well-stocked with linens and was very clean! We were a small group, but it was nice to have plenty of room for chilly days. Good location for hiking in state parks along the Mississippi.
