Nestled on a ridge in the private community of Eagles View, this quiet, comfortable 3 bedroom/2 bath, one-level cabin has a Million Dollar View of Lake Chatuge and surrounding mountains! This beautiful cabin accommodates up to 6 people and is loaded with all the comforts of home. Relax on the tranquil outdoor deck or cozy up by the beautiful wood-burning fireplace. If you enjoy cooking, the updated gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to whip up a delicious meal. When you begin going up the mountain and start glancing at the majestical view of the Lake Chatuge surrounded by mountains suddenly all your stress and worries dissipate by the AWESOMENESS of God's creation. The house provides you with all you need to have a very comfortable and stress free time in absence of bugs....this house had absolutely no bugs at all inside, it was great! The sunsets are fiery red and if you get up early, you will see the reflection of an amazing sunrise, all from your deck. You will be greeted by the music of bird songs every time you step foot on the deck. It is a beautiful place that we recommend without any reservation. The communication with the owners was also outstanding.

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains - we have never stayed in a property like this one before! The house was very cozy and comfortable, and it was so quiet and relaxing there. Thanks to our helpful hosts for such a great getaway!

The property was in a fantastic location. The house was clean and filled with all the luxuries one would want when staying in the mountains with -10 degree weather. Julie was great at communicating. Would definitely stay again.

The view is amazing the drive to the location was great with paved roads. Hosts were amazing with communication before and during stay. The area is in close proximity to amazing places and activities. We all had an amazing time. I was able to cook for the family everyday. The kitchen was equipped with all that I needed. Totally recommend this cabin.

Finally took a real vacation and it was fantastic. The views from the property were truly fantastic. We never wanted to leave. Definitely would go there again, Robert and Julie were great hosts

We spent 10 nights Rob and Julie's cabin. The view was stunning and way better than the photos in the property description!
The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed.
The location was great with easy access to both Hiawassee and Haysville.
We enjoyed the hikes at nearby falls, antique shops and chartered a fishing trip on Lake Chatuge.
Great getaway! We will be back.

Instead of our original four, we had three women who shared a relaxing weekend. We all needed some “chill” time, and this cabin provided that—in spades. The stunning views of the lake, the comfortable cabin with all the amenities we needed, and the quiet natural surroundings gave us everything we had hoped for.
Julie is a thoughtful, generous host who goes out of her way to make check in and check out easy. Simply the best!!

Such an awesome cabin with a terrific view of the lake and mountains. Cabin had everything we needed for a month. Love the location for golfing, hiking and pickle ball. Enjoyed feeding the many
Birds in the area. Plenty of
Firewood provided. All the neighbors we meet were friendly and already in contact with them for next fall. Host was always easy to reach .

We spent a month at Eagles view and had a wonderful time.
The cabin had everything you could need and was located in a safe beautiful area. The hosts were very responsive and the place was well appointed and clean. Location was on the Georgia/ North Carolina border near good hiking trails, two Ingles supermarkets and very close to Lake Chatuge. Day trips to the Highlands, Blue Ridge, Young Harris, Helen, etc were all fun getaways 1 to 2 hours away.

What a great experience. This place was spectacular. Even though it rained all weekend we had the most perfect place to bunker down and spend family time. The view out the back porch is breathtaking. Everything was absolutely perfect.

I appreciate how quickly you communicated when the water went out...it was good to have a few waters in refridgerator..good supply of basic neeeds..good view of lake.some improvements could be made with more comfortable seating on porch and bed..thanks

Rob and Julie were excellent to deal with. House is beautiful with fantastic view of Lake Chatuge and mountains. Very peaceful and relaxing. Their place is close to a lot of things to do and see. Definitely want to return visit. Great trip!

Great Property and Location
We stayed for a month in this beautiful cabin. The views are breath taking! We enjoyed morning walks in the neighborhood and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We will be back! The host was very nice and responsive. We recommend this place as a great place to visit and stay.

Perfect Getaway
Our stay at Eagles View was absolutely perfect! The home was easy to get to with all paved roads. The view is stunning at all times of day including at night when all the lights are reflecting on the lake. The home is extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The fire place is so enjoyable as is the deck. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful. Very kind. Walking our pups was a great workout! I highly recommend a stay at Eagles Nest!

Julie was great to communicate with, the house was equipped well, the grill was great, everything works, nothing falls apart. It is located up high and the lake views are amazing, many mountains and waterfalls are located within 20-30 miles of stunning landscape and mountain roads, highly recommend!

The house is very nice , easy to get to and has everything you need . It’s very homey feeling and the views of the mountains and lake are really beautiful. Julie the owner was very nice , she gave all instructions and advice to make getting there and in the house a breeze. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay . I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a mountain getaway.

It is hard to summarize such a wonderful stay. Bob and Julie's home is everything you would want in a vaca place! The location, the views, our weather was perfect, walks, shops, things to do, real fires in the fireplace was a treat, wood handy to get. They have worked hard at thinking of everything that would make a perfect stay! And that it was! We have such great memories!!! Thanks again.

We could not have picked a better cabin to enjoy family time and celebrate our mom's 80th birthday. We did a lot of cooking and had all of the amenities anyone could possibly need. The views from the back deck were ever changing and amazing, from coffee in the mornings until sunset. Super cute neighborhood and extremely convenient location. The grocery store was nearby, as well as all sorts of fun places to visit. The owners were quickly responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. Having stayed in the mountains before, my personal favorite was the privacy and not having to look at any other rooftops while enjoying the view of Lake Chatuge. We can't wait to come and stay again!

Cottage with a panoramic mountain top view!
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home atop the mountains of North Carolina. The view was really nice with the mountain ranges one after the other and the lake wrapped around them. Had a fireplace which we enjoyed almost every night. The kitchen was well appointed. The ride up to the cottage was steep but the road is paved. Thank you.

Amazing views, Peaceful, Relaxing
Julie was very accommodating with coordinating a last minute vacation for my family. Their home was exactly as listed and much more. The views over the lake below and the mountains in the distance were breathtaking. It was so quiet on the mountain and relaxing when taking walks with our dog. There were plenty of linens if needed and the kitchen was well supplied. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and exploring Georgia and North Carolina during the day. The home was exactly as posted and no unexpected surprises. I would definitely rent this property again if we visit the area in the future. It was very well maintained and clean inside and outside. What a view!
We had a great time at this property! The lake view was incredible, and it was very quiet and peaceful. Wifi was fast and reliable, definitely suitable for a work-cation. Cell signal was pretty good as well, especially for a relatively remote area. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the house was very clean. The only complaint is that we could never get the fireplace to stay lit! I'm not sure the reason, but that was my only complaint. We would definitely return!
