To make your stay as comfortable as possible, our unit comes with a new king size bed, two large flat screen TV’s, queen size sleeper sofa, two comfortable chairs, screened - in porch, wireless internet, cable and washer/dryer.
Perdido Key has many excellent restaurants, but, if you prefer dining in-our kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for the avid chef.
The Purple Parrot Resort is a Key West style resort located on the barrier island of Perdido Key. It’s just three minutes away from beautiful white sand beaches. The SloMo condo was very clean and stocked with basic needs.
The process was very organized and easy!
The one we stayed in was lower level and the people above us were very loud. We were awakened each morning by 5-5:30 by kids jumping and running and very heavy walking. If we return to the Purple Parrot we will seek an upstairs unit.
Our kids and their families stayed in other units on the property so it was nice to have our daily pool time with them.. The location seemed secure except each night they allow “outsiders” in for the pool and bar. We found this odd and less secure. We had to wear bracelets but were never checked and the outsiders were not checked either.
The location is ok, but we had to drive into Pensacola or back into Alabama to go out/find other options of fun things to do.
We would return for a short stay, again (our stay was 5 days but checkout is 10 am, so you lose the last day. Our kids stayed in units with 11 am checkout which at least gave them time for a nice breakfast before leaving.
Overall, it was a great experience to spend time with kids and grandkids.

Perfect for my college daughter and myself. Plenty of room and we loved the beach look in the condo. Parking just outside the door. Enjoyed the beach, we drove and so close. Nothing to do with the owners of this condo but the resort pool area needs some TLC, the pool needed cleaning, but I still enjoyed it. We would rent here again if available when we come back. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with!! Great time!!

This is our second year in same condo and couldnt ask for much better. Comfortable, clean and convenient to everything. Pool was outstanding and we found new (to us) restaurants this year.
This is absolutely no reflection on our owner but perhaps guests in upper units could be reminded about noise level after midnight. We really only had an issue our last two nights.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a clean fresh smell not that of an overpowering perfume smell that attempts to mask something, this place was truly clean, bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. The Slow Mo condo at the Purple Parrot exceeded our expectations! Clean, nice furnishings, convenient check in, comfy bed, quaint and quiet. We could hear music from the room but that didn’t surprise or bother us since we knew about the live music daily.

What a fabulous little spot and the home was just perfect for my Mom and I's little getaway. Fred was so accomodating and even offered to refund our money because some work was being done at the upstairs neighbors. We decided to stay and enjoy his place since the work was only done during the day and the newly decorated place was perfect. Steps away from the pool too! We will definitely be back! Thank you.

Only downfall is this is a bottom unit and other guests may stay in the above unit. During our stay, there were occupants in the top unit and they were extremely noisy and stomped loudly during all hours of the night.

The condo was decorated cute and it had everything we needed. The bed was really comfy too! The owners were responsive to any questions or concerns upon arrival. We would have been able to get into it a few hours early if we would have been the area. The resort was nice and it was great to have the bar and entertainment.

The Slow Mo condo was perfect for our 7 day vacation! It provided everything we needed in a clean, spacious room. The condo had plenty of dishes, extras like towels, shampoo and laundry soaps that have been left from previous guests which is nice! I would recommend this specific unit again. Also, the Purple Parrot is a great place for multiple families to meet, sweet and hang out.

My husband I did an overnight trip to Florida and this condo was absolutely perfect! Central to orange beach Alabama and not far from Pensacola either! There is so many amenities at the resort that you could stay in for a night and still have a blast!! Slow Mo that is owned by Mr. And Mrs. Poth is one of the best upkept condo’s I’ve ever stayed in! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Our stay was very pleasant. Our accommodations were above. what we expected. Only issue is the late-night music. The quality was fine but when you wake up at 9:30 pm and can understand the words to a karaoke singer, ( I thought the tv was on ) the music is too loud. I asked for the volume to be reduced and I got a " I will pass it on" - did not happen.

The condo was very nice, actually better than the pictures. The area surrounding the condos was very clean, quiet, and serene. It was a very nice getaway from home and we will definitely be booking this spot again.

Great unit; nice and cozy for a couple. Only downside is that when 2nd floor is occupied it’s very noisy. Floor creak, can hear any footsteps and conversations. There is a bar on the property that plays loud music though shuts down at 11. While we enjoyed the visit, not sure it right for us since we prefer something more quiet and calm.

My wife and I just had a great stay at Slow Mo! The check in process was a breeze and the condo was very clean and comfortable and speaking of comfort; the bed was fantastic! I haven't slept that well in quite a while! It was close to many good restaurants and literally two minutes from the beach. The pool area was very nice as well. We ate lunch one day at a place called Cobalt, the restaurant. I highly recommend it if you are in the area. Overall it was a great stay and I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay at SloMo. However, the noise from the upper unit was horrible. King bed a little too firm but was ok. Overall, we enjoyed our stay other than noise from other tenants.

Loved the property loved our room and it was an easy process check in and check out. Pool was amazing hot tub was great. Would definitely stay again. Probity wouldn't stay in the summer with the tiki bar opening at night draw in a less than desirable crowd but fall/winter is wonderful we are in by dark most of the time and not bothered by the Bar.

We enjoyed our stay, the condo was set up for a relaxing time. It was nicely decorated for a beach setting. The owners were very quick to respond to our communication. We enjoyed the pool. The resort was close to Johnson Beach, which is our favorite.
