Mid-Century or Mies (as in Van der Rohe), then come and explore architecture with us while you make your initial decent into a world of industrial wonderment. Located near Columbia’s Downtown Owens Field Airport this Loft is a mere runway from Columbia’s emerging City Center.

Stretch out in 2000 square-feet of reinvented raw industrial space consisting of two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. This loft boasts exposed brick walls, structural steel beams, and concrete floors and countertops. The Baltic-birch custom cabinetry frames the modern kitchen, containing the soft-spoken beauty of stainless Bosch appliances. The 20-foot tall ceilings are accented with exposed aluminum spiral ductwork hung with leather strapping as a backdrop to a ceiling created of both exposed corrugated steel and clear-finished tongue & groove boards. The loft also contains loads of intimate lighting tailored for your perfect evening. Industrial Lofts 912 comes equipped with a 2-car garage operated with a remote door lift, providing covered parking for your vehicles.

After rinsing off your travels in our spa-inspired custom showers, you’ll experience 5-Star landings afloat locally crafted platform beds, lavished with enough gooses and thread-count to send you off soundly on your journey counting sheep. I enjoy finding unusual places to stay and this one is high on the list. We were in Columbia for parent's weekend with our UofSC student. The location is a short drive to everything - UofSC, Vista, Main Street. We hope to stay in one of Joab's lofts again soon!

owner cancelled my stay and would not refund my fee...did not return emails no communication!!! never sent info on location or property access im sure he recieved reservation from another guess for longer stay and cancelled my slot with no refund

This place was amazing! Was here on New Year’s Eve, and stayed here with the intent of going downtown. We enjoyed this place so much we didn’t want to leave and ended up spending New Year’s Eve inside!

This property was perfect for our quick trip to Columbia. The checkin process was very easy and the apartment is everything it advertises. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Very clean and the extra amenities like coffee were much appreciated. It is close to 5 points, the Vista, and UofSC (although not within walking distance). There is also a beautiful park within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place, but the HVAC is extremely loud which made it hard to hear the TV in the main room and to sleep in the upstairs bedroom when its running.Also, make sure you understand that they charge per person staying there. We initially had 3 staying and ended up with 4. I had to have my Dad check us in as I was running late and he told them 5 (he just didn't know) and we ended up paying for an extra person that didn't stay there. Not a big deal and the only reason I bring it up is that any of the other VRBO's that we stayed in didn't have a per person charge.

We appreciated the ease of getting in, the cleanliness and the thought given to design and the shower!!!!! My only comment for a small change is to provide lamps for reading in the Living Room. I'm a designer and prefer that to overhead lighting for relaxing in a room. Thank you!

This was an interesting place to say the least. The neighborhood was interesting and the pictures sure were done professionally, just like those for home sales. The TV was basic cable and only had local channels which for us coming to watch the NCAA basketball first and second round was not the best. The beds were comfortable!

It was a perfect place to go with our son who needed peace and quiet from military training... of the beaten path; great facilities to cook, relax, sleep; watch movies, and enjoy family time. Perfect for parents with USC or Fort Jackson students whose kids need a quiet break to reconnect with family!

Stayed here for our son's graduation from USC with relatives. Couldn't have been more convenient to everything. Avoiding the hotel lobbies and parking lots made it such a personal experience for all of us - almost like we were able to move our home there and comfortably relax before/during and after all the events. Bathroom lighting for makeup and hair was a challenge because of the modern fixtures, but otherwise, all was perfect. Thanks Joab for providing us such a perfect space to celebrate a special occasion, and for your speedy responses on all inquiries. We'll be back!! :-)
