We have stayed at this resort before and had no issues. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case this year. After driving for almost 7 hours with 3 young children we receive a message saying that our room is ready and we can check in at the Island Realty office. We did so and proceeded to the room only to find it filthy. As I am on the phone with the rental office the cleaners show up and start telling us that we need to leave and are not allowed to be there. The rental office apologized and offered to reimburse a small amount. Shortly after being back allowed into the unit we notice that it seems warmer than usual (76 degrees) we turned the air down and hoped for the best. The air conditioner was obviously old and struggling and was never able to work properly. We contacted the rental office by email and text with no reply. The condo had 4 pocket doors within to separate the rooms and provide privacy. Two out of four didn't operate. We contacted the rental again with no reply. The last issue we faced was the day we were meant to leave. Check out is at 10 am but the key code on the door stopped working around 915. Luckily one of us remained in the unit while the other loaded the car up. Otherwise, we would have been locked out with no way to pack the rest of our stuff. We contacted the rental office again with no reply. The overall property is wonderful and we had a great trip despite the issues. Hopefully the property managers were just having a difficult week with communication.

Very nice, top floor unit, at the end of the building, so neighbors on just one side. These are older units, but this one is nicely updated. The master bedroom mattress is super comfortable and the bathroom has a great step in shower. The kitchen is small, but quite functional. We cooked ever day and had plenty of utensils and pots/pans. The screened porch was a great spot to see the ocean and have coffee in the morning. This building is super close to the beach and overlooks the pool. The unit need a new TV in the LR, black spot in upper corner. But we still enjoyed movies! I’d definitely stay here again!

The condo was very nice and clean; only things I would suggest is better mattress and pillows; better seating for roof top balcony and ceiling fans for living room and bedroom. Location is fantastic and unit has everything needed for a great vacation, highly recommend.

The condo was well-located and is as described in the description. The screened-in porch has a wonderful view of the ocean. I can't think of any recommendations, except we had to find where the dumpsters were for our specific unit. It would be nice to know that information at check-in. Lastly, the TV's and remotes can be confusing. It would be good to have detailed instructions on how to operate. We ended up using our own Roku stick.

We love this area and this unit was serviceable. Plenty of clean fresh towels, not so much on the linens. These were also clean however with 4 guest we needed to use the pullout couch. The sheets were extremely thin and there were no pillowcases for the extra pillows in the closet. The unit was clean. The beach chairs for guest usage were extremely worn with one seat just hanging on by a thread. We purchased a couple chairs to use during our stay and left them for future guests to enjoy.

The location is great however the unit was not clean upon our arrival. There were crumbs on the floor, fingerprints and grease on the refrigerator and dishwasher with a disgusting trash can lid. Also, toilet tissue and paper towel rolls were not even full rolls and of poor quality. There was only one additional garbage bag for kitchen trash and with no foil or basic cooking items. Dish soap was almost empty to which they added water which made it diluted. The deck has a nice view but the table was dirty. There was sand all over the couches and dust on all tables. If the home owner is paying for cleaning service, it isn't being done. The decor is very out dated and it is obvious the owners have not invested in their property to keep it current and clean.

This one bedroom, one bathroom condo was perfect for two people. The screen porch with a nice view of the ocean was a highlight. We did have an issue with a leaky toilet that flooded the bathroom, and the realty company was unable to address that for 15 hours. Since it is a one bathroom condo, that did not seem appropriately responsive, but we got along. There were a few other minor maintenance issues, but nothing to interrupt our enjoying our stay.

The location is excellent, right on the beach. Ocean view from the balcony is nice. The condo itself was clean but dated. The bed was not very comfortable at all. The kitchen is super tiny but well stocked with utensils, cookware and dishes. They should update the furnishings and decor.

Port O Call C304 provided us with a pleasant vacation. We have stayed in the Port O Call units as well as other condos many times over the years. This was our first visit back to Wild Dunes in fifteen years after moving to Rhode Island. C304 was well equipped with anything we might need. However, the condo was "tired" Especially in May I would have expected better pillows, a ceiling fan that would easily works on the screen porch, and not to see mold in the air vents and screen porch siding. The unit just looked dated. You cannot beat the location for both views and access to the beach and pool The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed for the week. I do wish that all of the condos in Wild Dunes would have blue bins for recycling.

PortOCall C304 is a great oceanfront condo at the north end of IOP. The condo is very comfortable and well furnished. Having beach chairs provided was a huge plus. This is a perfect spot with a large pool and direct access to the huge IOP beach. The Wild Dunes resort is very quiet and well cared for. The heart of IOP is just 4 miles away and Sullivan’s Island is just another two miles to the south. These two provide lots of good dining options.

The condo was in a great location. The pool and beach was very convenient. The condo was nicely arranged and we enjoyed the upper deck and the porch. Island Realty was very responsive with a couple of items that we needed and the maintenance people were on the spot within an hour of my call that the shower/tub was not draining properly. My only complaint would be that we were on the third floor and the elevator was out of commission the whole week which made unloading and loading luggage at the beginning and end of the trip more difficult than it should be. We also had our own bikes which had to be taken up and down every day by steps for bike rides. I hope that the elevator will be fixed soon!

The personnel at Island Realty are great to work with. The rates are reasonable. The unit we stayed in from mid-January to mid-February 2018 was a little on the shabby side, not very clean, spots on pillows and upholstery, dirty flatware in the drawers and knife holders, dirty plates in the cupboard, and an extraordinary wait for hot water to reach the shower - sometimes 10 minutes or longer.

Check in was smooth and Wild Dunes is always wonderful. Condo could have been A LOT cleaner, especially considering COVID guidelines. We brought our own cleaners for extra protection (which I've never done before) but glad I did because it needed a thorough cleaning. In fact I found crumbs on the kitchen counter when I first walked in. I did not see that any extra cleaning had been done and elevator on property was never cleaned during the week of my stay. I also called and asked for supplies from housekeeping and was told they did not handle the property I was staying in but would contact the service, never received supplies. Other than the cleanliness our stay was wonderful and property was nice.
