This rustic, warmly appointed, 625 square foot second story chalet features 18’ cathedral ceilings, a magnificent stone fireplace with realistic electric element, wide plank floors, a private balcony overlooking the private pool... and a super comfy four-poster queen size bed to ensure your restful weekend in the country. Also included are high speed Internet, 200-channel satellite TV and a robust iPod-compatible Bose stereo system. The Chalet has its own private driveway and entrance. A 40' foot breezeway separates the second story Chalet from the main house, ensuring privacy and quietude. The 18'x36' heated saline pool features deliciously soft water and is guaranteed to be open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with September access subject to weather conditions. There's also a romantic poolside Mediterranean-style pergola with a gas grill, refrigerator and bluestone bar so you can enjoy a casually shaded mid-day lunch or dine in rustic luxury under the stars. We're only 3 minutes to the acclaimed Red Onion restaurant, just 5 minutes from Woodstock's popular Cucina ristorante, and 6 to the elegant Silvia restaurant . Another 60 seconds and you're at the Village Green, where you can enjoy many other dining and entertainment venues. And, of course, shopping! ; ) Just up Rock City from the Green is Woodstock's swanky Good Night restaurant. For all you music fans, we're "right around the corner" from the legendary Levon Helm's Barn, home of the Midnight Ramble and some of the best music in the area and just several minutes from Colony, a former 1920s hotel and current bar, restaurant and music venue. Well-behaved pets less than 50 # are welcome (subject to approval) with $25 fee (per pet/night) and/or nominal $59 VRBO damage insurance, which is contracted directly with them.
