About this house rental
Spring and Fall are spectacular on Fripp Island. Because the breakfast room blocks the wind, you can spend sunny days on the upper deck almost year round. The 3 outdoor decks are as beautiful as the interior. There are stunning ocean views from all the living areas and 2 of the decks. On the ground level, you will find a bedroom (2 twin beds) with an ocean view, private bath with shower and french doors opening onto the 20 x 30 ft. deck, a dining area, and a large outdoor shower. The main living areas and 4 other bedrooms are upstairs. Upstairs Bedrooms: (1) Master (King Bed) with its own private deck and private bath (with Steam Shower). (2) A small Bedroom (2 twin beds). This room has hanging hooks & storage bins but no closet. This room is suitable for young children. (3) Bedroom (King bed) which opens to a Bath with Jacuzzi (this bathroom also opens to the hallway - near the small twin bedroom). (4). The 4th upstairs Bedroom (King Bed) has a private bathroom with shower and some ocean view.

The home accommodates 10 people. (3 King beds and 4 twins). I of the twin rooms is a small sleeping room with no closet and it is only suitable for younger children. High Chair & Pack and Play provided upon request.
The Breakfast Room has 3 walls of glass with a view from 1 end of the Island to the other - a perfect place to have an early cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. For dining, the Breakfast Table seats 5, the Dining Table seats 8-10, and the picnic table on the upper deck seats 10. There is also a table with seating for 8 on the lower deck. There are 2 Seating Areas - a 23 x 18 Family Room with Flat Screen TV (seats 9 comfortably) and a room with a smaller seating area with a Fireplace. The Breakfast room has a Day bed and TV. The home has (2) WiFi, 6 TV's, trash compactor, and charcoal grill. There are 10 beach chairs and beach towels for your use. However, you may never want to leave the house or the upper deck! It's great to be able to watch your family play on the beach while you relax on the deck or prepare a meal. For security purposes, we installed a Ring doorbell and camera which only monitors the front door area and front driveway. If interested in using Fripp Island Resort amenities, inquire with owner about costs for Resort Fee and Guest Cards.

We have been traveling to Fripp in the summer for 32 years and love it! This home is our favorite by far! It is in a great location, has the most beautiful views, and has the best outdoor and indoor family areas!

Pros: House is on an excellent part of the beach with some sand all day, but not a huge hike to the water. Very clean, well-maintained property. Beautiful outside seating area downstairs. Homeowners were great. There was an issue with one of the A/C units and they literally had someone out in less than two hours to fix it. We were extremely grateful for that! There are two extra mini-fridges in the kitchen that are great for cooling drinks & bottled water without taking up food space in the main fridge.
Con: One of the bedrooms is so tiny that there is not even room for two people to walk past each other. No dresser, no closet, not even room to sit a suitcase on the floor. It is an okay space for one person to sleep, but it’s not really a “bedroom.” There were multiple cabinets with tons of cups & kitchen gadgets, but no pantry space to store a week’s worth of food for an entire family.

This home exceeded my expectations, which were high already. So many thoughtful touches throughout the house. It is bigger than I expected and had lots of areas where you could have your own space. The homeowner was very thorough and timely with her communications.

It was a wonderful week with our family. Our only complaint was that the children's pool at 2 locations were closed for maintenance (we had 3 little ones) so we only ended up using the amenities once. The beach is expansive with plenty of room to play and the accomodations were wonderful.

Wonderful Ocean Front Escape
This house is in an ideal location mid island. It is ocean front with beach access all day. It’s just off of Tarpon blvd, but far enough away to cut down on the noise of the golf carts cruising by. The house itself was well furnished and comfortable, with amazing views. The deck is great for lounging in the sun and listening to the waves crash. If you prefer shade, there is a cozy area with plenty of seating underneath. Rosanne was great at communicating and made the whole process very easy and a pleasant experience. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Words and pictures would never do it justice
This house is AMAZING. We had a family vacation of 3 families here, which included 6 adults and 3 young children. The photos and description really could never do this place justice. The house itself is sparklingly clean and tastefully decorated, and there was ample space for our families to have the option of spending time together in nice communal spaces or enjoying some privacy in our large en suite rooms or outdoor spaces. And of course THE VIEWS--breathtaking, spectacular. You can be on the beach in about 30 seconds. You just can't beat that. The communication and check-in/check out process was seamless and easy. We all felt sad leaving and hope to be able to spend time at this gem again in the future. Highest recommendations!!

Location, Location…and a Spectacular House
I recently organized a beach trip for some of our Colorado friends and the choice of the house at 707 Flying Fish made me look like a Rock Star. The VRBO descriptions, amenities and images are all that and more. The house is absolutely spectacular and overwhelmingly beach comfy with several living spaces both inside and out that can accommodate everyone’s needs (rain or shine). The house is at one of the best locations on Fripp Island—directly beach front, adjacent to a boardwalk for beach access, and within walking distance to the Beach Club. Even on the weekends, the boardwalk and beach were never excessively crowded. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well appointed and could easily accommodate three people working at once. Take your pick from four different eating areas: The sunroom or dining room (inside) or the picnic table on the deck or the dining table on the downstairs lanai. I have to admit we spent quite a bit of time on the lanai downstairs that’s furnished with outdoor furniture, TV and small refrigerator. All the bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of bathroom space for our group. Rosanne, the owner, was so welcoming and accommodating. She truly wanted to make sure our stay was an outstanding experience. I’ve rented a lot of houses on the beach in South Carolina and this was hands-down the best beach experience, not only for me but also for all my Colorado guests. Everyone is already talking about coming back next year!

The best cure for cabin fever!
This beautifully appointed oceanfront home is absolutely the perfect change of scenery getaway! It lacks for nothing and has an absolutely fabulous location on Fripp Island. Sits back from the main road so it is very quiet. A short walk over the natural dunes on the adjacent boardwalk takes you directly onto the beach. The owner could not have been more thorough and prompt in answering all questions. A pleasure to deal with and very accomodating. The 2 Wi Fi set ups worked great for those in our group who had to work during part of their stay. In every way, this property is 5 star plus!

The Perfect Beach Rental
This home is located at the ideal location on Fripp with uncrowded beach 24/7. There is nothing like sitting on the upper deck feeling the ocean breeze, seeing the sea oats blow in the wind, and watching our children play on the beach or enjoying low-country boil, corn hole, or a good book on the lower deck. The house itself is beautiful, inviting, and comfortable. It lacks for nothing!

Sea Oats is absolutely fantastic. The location right beside the public walkway was great especially if you are taking a lot of stuff to the beach with you as we did with two small children. Rosanne was super. She had instructions with everything in the house and offered suggestions for eating, sightseeing and even golf cart rides. Her house is beautiful with the best view. Wonderful view, beautiful house.
We stayed here the week of July 14. Our two daughters and their families were with us, including two grown granddaughters and two more age 3 and 12. The house was very comfortable for the ten of us. The whole house is beautiful, but the solarium looks like it's right out of a magazine. The bedding and linens are top notch. The kitchen is well stocked and there is room for your own food, which is often not the case. The outdoor living space is fantastic, and the beach chairs were a thoughtful touch. The nice thing about the upper deck facing the ocean is that it is shaded by the house in the evening, which makes it very pleasant for relaxing with a glass of wine and taking in the view, even on hot evenings. It rained a good bit while we were there, but the great thing about this house is that you are always at the beach no matter what the weather. Rosanne is one of the nicest owners I've ever worked with, and if there is any problem at all, she is on it, immediately. We loved every minute and look forward to returning some time.

We had a great family vacation.
This was our third visit to Sea Oats. On this occasion we had the entire family and enjoyed a memorable beach vacation. The home itself is outstanding and is located in the middle of the island. The view's are wonderful and we as a family took advantage of the amenities, including enjoying each of the golf courses. The owner is wonderful to work with and we have already scheduled a week for next year.
