Looking for the perfect AFFORDABLE hide-away in Key West? Located in a remodeled Victorian Home - this guest room is just perfect for two and has a pool in the backyard!
This guest room is cozy (the size of a small hotel room, 10'X12.5' plus bathroom) with a QUEEN size bed but is so much better than a hotel room. We provide high quality cotton sheets and thick, luxurious towels. We offer a studio kitchen with apartment sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, two burner cook top, blender, and everything you'll need to cook and serve a romantic meal. It is nice to be able to make a sandwich or picnic to take to the beach! There is a wonderful table just out the back door if you would like to eat under the palm trees.

No need really - just two and a half blocks up is Duval Street where hundreds of bars & restaurants await your fun times. The beach is a five minute walk and there you can enjoy the gorgeous warm turquoise water ALL YEAR ROUND. Just relax on the pristine white sand under the tall swaying palms. When you get too hot - simply stroll back to your air conditioned hide-away or take a dip in the pool.
Two bikes are provided for your use at no extra charge. They are right on property with the number 6 (our studio number) on each bike. You will be able to ride to beaches, parks, botanical gardens and of course, bars, restaurants and sunsets!!
The bed faces an armoire and 32' flat screen TV. The gorgeous Victorian Home which is now divided into individually owned rooms - is an architectural masterpiece... but unlike many bed and breakfasts, walls are thick and your privacy is insured. The neighborhood is a wonderful mix of guest houses, full time local folks, and visitors. While you are walking the streets - stop and chat a spell with anybody who is rocking on their front porch. You might meet some real Key West characters! Our location is so close to Duval (a five minute walk) - it will be a great place to gather with friends to head "downtown".
OUTSIDE There is a wonderful back deck with lovely shaded eating area and pool, another picnic table under the huge Banyan tree, and lots of lounge chairs to lay in the sun. These are all within the fenced yard of the property. It really is amazing to find this quiet seclusion right off of the excitement of Duval Street!

The room was advertised as small, but it was still comfortable. The only issue was some sort of an alarm that went off very early in the morning (4am). It wasn't an alarm clock, but sounded like a fire alarm. The owner was very responsive and sent the manager to try to solve the issue. Parking was ok. The property and room were clean.

Ken’s place was perfect for our one night stay in Key West! I wish I would have stayed longer.
I was looking forward to using the bikes, snorkeling and beach equipment. Unfortunately, we were unable to due to our flight being delayed and arriving late at night because of the global outage worldwide.
I hated to leave and want to come back and visit really soon. I will definitely keep this place in mind when I decide to visit again!

Everything was Perfect! The studio was exactly as described. Wouldn’t change a thing about it. We loved the location. Enjoyed having the bikes to use also. Ken was so accommodating and responded promptly to all messages. Ken also includes some “guides” of his favorite places and we tried quite a few of them.. and couldn’t agree more they ALL were Great! Such a Perfect place for a couple to stay at!!

This place was in the absolute best location. We were no farther than a 10 minute bike ride no matter where we went. The included bikes were awesome, we used them everyday of our stay. The room had everything we could have possibly needed. It was perfect. We plan to visit Key West again in the future and hope to stay here again

My husband and I came to Key West to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Ken's Studio was perfect. We knew it was small going in and so that didn't bother us. The location is outstanding as it is within walking distance of Duval Street and easy bike rides to the beach. The bikes were great for getting around KW, we rode them all over. The beach supplies (cooler, umbrella, chairs, snorkel equipment) were very much appreciated as well. Ken was an excellent host and was very good at communicating with us and answering our questions. He also had many great suggestions as to where to eat, drink and visit. We will DEFINITELY stay here again the next time we visit Key West.

Ken's place is awesome. Between the included use of two bikes to putt around town, the perfect location (close enough to walk to Duval, but still away from the craziness), the spotless room and bath, ice cold A/C unit, comfy bed, and well apportioned mini kotched...I can't imagine a better deal in Key West. My fiance and I had a blast for our week there. Ken was amazing as well in his communication and helpfulness with the area. Hope we can stay whenever our next trip to KW comes!

My husband and I just got back from Key West. We had a fabulous time and loved where we stayed. Ken, the owner, is terrific. Great communication, excellent tips on things to do and places to eat. It a large house and you have a room to stay in with your own bathroom, small kitchen and bed. It was perfect for us. We will definitely be back next time we visit Key West. Ken's place was exactly what we were looking for: Clean, quiet, and walkable to everything we wanted to do in Old Town Key West. Although the unit is compact, Ken has included many amenities that made our stay enjoyable: beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, etc. The full-size FREE washer and dryer in the building made it possible for us to pack with only carry-on luggage- a huge bonus! Unless you're planning to spend hours in your room instead of getting out and about and enjoying Key West, Ken's place is perfect!

For Key West, this was an affordable option in light of what other places cost to stay. There are fees in addition to the base cost but that is everywhere. This was a good value overall. Room is small but adequate for a single person or couple. Nice sized bathroom. Room was clean. Small pool out back was nice. Easy access to Duval, Southernmost Point etc. We did wish that there was some coffee provided with the coffee maker.

Walking distance to Duval and Southern most point. Little further to Malory Square but doable. Great communication with manager, very helpful and fast responses! 4 stars for neighborhood are just because it seems a little sketchy, but really isn't. Quiet and had no issues.

We stayed at Ken's place to visit Key West for the first time. The place was very clean and well organized. We had everything we needed for our stay and more. We didn't cook in the studio but we certainly could have! Instead we enjoyed the many great restaurants that were right down the street! The location itself is amazing and you are very close to all that Key West has to offer. We walked everywhere from the unit and visited the lighthouse, Hemingway house and Ft Zachary Taylor park and beach. Ken even provided chairs and bikes. The pool area was nice although it was too cool for a swim. We did enjoy sitting outside in the afternoons. Thank you Ken for being a great host and the wonderful recommendations!

My husband and I made a trip to the Keys for our 15th wedding anniversary. We wanted a place in Old Town Key West for a day to make it easy to explore. This was perfect! It was adorable and very clean. Great location and Ken was incredibly attentive and easy to reach! We highly recommend!

Honestly, I have not met a host yet who has gone over and beyond with providing documentation and clear instructions. Ken also make himself available to answer any question. Ken sent a great list of things to see, restaurants to eat at and bars to hop. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. But since the location was great, it didn’t take me very long to dodge the rain between going to different spots. I also enjoyed the bikes. Especially the bike ride to the beach. My only issue was with some of the noise but that was outside of his control. The walls are thin. And the suite next-door decided to have their TV very loud all night long. The outdoor space was great and very convenient to the room. The amenities in the room gave me everything I needed. I would definitely recommend this place.

When we go to Key West we hardly spend any time in our room and don’t need much so this studio was just what we were looking for. Great location and walkable to all our favorite haunts. Reasonable price for Key West. It is very small but was very clean and had most everything needed. Pool was nice but pretty cool. Ken was quick to respond with any questions. Overall good experience

The location was perfect. Off of a busy street, but close to all the action. They had bikes and everything you would need for your stay. The pool in the back was quiet and charming. We were pleased with the cleanliness and even though the room was small it was perfect as we only were there to sleep. The bathroom was updated and very nice. Definitely would recommend especially for the price.

There is also a little kitchen with fridge, Keurig, toaster oven and a hot plate. The area seemed very safe and a few minute walk to Duval.
