About this house rental
This charming and beautifully maintained cottage has many upgrades and will surely let the stress melt away while relaxing on the peaceful beach or by the private pool in the pleasant Carolina sunshine. The top level is composed of a living room with a TV, DVD player; dining area with 10 seats, 2 counter seats, 2 card table seats, access to the screened in porch with table and chairs and the master bedroom (with King bed, TV and bathroom with walk-in shower). The 2nd floor is made up of 3 bedrooms (1 master bedroom with Queen ; 1 bedroom with Queen and private access to hall bathroom and 1 bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds), laundry area with washer and dryer and access to the 2nd floor deck complete with a fabulous hot tub that has room for 6! The lower level is made up of the recreation room (with a foosball table, mini refrigerator, TV/DVD, and Stereo- that controls the outside speakers near the pool and lower deck area), and 1 bedroom with a full sized day bed with a twin trundle underneath. There are several activities to choose from for all ages to include basketball, corn hole, tennis or horseshoes.

This is how a vacation should be. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was very clean. The bicycles came in handy and the neighborhood was very pedestrian friendly. We loved the pool and hot tub. All family members agreed that this was an outstanding accommodation.

We loved this house! It had everything we needed for a wonderful week away from home. We loved the pool, going to the beach and eating at several good restaurants. If we ever head to the Corolla area again, we definitely will try to stay here again.

This was our 3rd time at Coastal Remedy. We love it! The accomodations are great, the private pool provided hours of fun for our grandkids, and the sun porch as well as the deck areas gave our family members some private spaces to chill.

This home had everything and more! There were games, hot tub, pool, bikes, beach equipment and we ere walking distance not only the beach but to restaurants grocery stores and shopping! We could not have asked for anything more!! This home can fit a large family or even two families comfortably. Would highly recommend this property! Host was quick to respond.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Coastal Remedy! The house was well stocked in the kitchen and other areas to keep the family occupied! We loved the Roku tvs because most of us have preferences for streaming over cable. The house was very clean and maintained. The only two items we thought could be better were the beds most of us thought they were way too soft, and the dishwasher needing updated to be able support dishes being done right. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub along with the beach throughout our week! The outdoor shower was a great addition to help keep sand to a minimum and hoses to spray down items and such from the beach! We also had our dog with and he was very much at home! I’d recommended this property for groups who don’t mind a small walk to the beach- the rhino cart at the house made this process very easy for our large group! Thank you for hosting our family we can’t wait for another trip to cure our ails to the Coastal Remedy.

The house worked perfectly for our family. We enjoyed the beach and pool everyday. The house is well stocked with everything you need to stay at the house and to go to the beach.

We were very happy with the home and it had everything we needed. I talked with Crystal who was very nice about the pool and hope they have rectified the problem. As per our conversation the pool people did not show up. we put water into the pool and kept the leaves and needles out. Also for future reference the grill lid was broken.

We had a wonderful week at the beach! House was perfect for our family of young adults. Rooms were great and beds were comfy. Kitchen was fully stocked and the table fit is perfectly, both for meals and game nights. We used everything from the pool, hammocks, and hot tub, to the great bikes and the beach carts - super handy. Basketball, horseshoes, and pickle ball courts were also fun. Love the area, close to stores and restaurants. We hope to be back!

Beautiful, clean property filled with nice little spaces for all of us. Five beds and three baths gave us just what our group of twelve needed. My eleven year old niece especially loved having her own little daybed room to herself, while the four younger boy cousins relished the opportunity to stay together in the double bunk room. Having three master-sized rooms with queens was perfect for getting the rest we adults needed, and it was awesome having a full bathroom for each family. The pool was such a nice amenity, and we even spent a whole day staying in and enjoying the back yard. We loved all the extra spaces to which we could individually (or as couples) retreat to read and reflect. It was so nice having an outdoor shower and multiple hoses (although the one nearest the door is in need of a replacement). The only negative when I asked the family about this review was the charcoal grill- it took so long to get it ready, and all involved said they would have preferred a gas one for ease.
Otherwise, such a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood! Close to the beach, shops, dining and the greenway, which we really enjoyed, thanks to the bikes provided by the owner. Altogether a wonderful vacation with the extended family, filled with good memories we won’t forget. Thank you!

Beautiful house, all the extras were wonderful. The private pool, hot tub, hammock, swing, kitchen had anything you would ever need to prepare a meal. House was clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds and living room furniture, and the patios were great for morning coffee.

We love this location...easy walk to the beach and secluded space. We enjoyed the private pool and hot tub too.

The property was clean and well equipped. The kids enjoyed the bikes. The pool was clean as was the hot tub. Which was used by all. A short walk to the beach in a beautiful complex. Being able to bring our dogs was also great. We had only one problem and I contacted Crystal and she had someone there to take care of it within two hours. Would we come here again, most definitely.

This home was beautiful and well decorated. However, the set up of the bedrooms was not great. We had three children under the age of two, who when took their naps, everyone in the house, had to be quiet, because you could hear all the footsteps from upstairs. Also, I was not excited about the steps going into the beach, as I am disabled. I think This home would be great for teenagers and younger adults. The pool was clean as well as the hot tub.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for us and our fur babies. We loved the pool! Kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need! Nice bike ride to the beach and also close enough to the 4x4 beach as well! Crystal is absolutely great to work with!

Awesome!
We’ve vacationed in Outer Banks 4 times using VRBO. This was the best stay we’ve had so far! Clean, great location, just a short walk to shops and beach. Nice pool and great hot tub. The host, Crystal, was very responsive. We had a wonderful time!

10 of us stayed at this house. Plenty of room for us all to get together. Lots of little nooks and crannies if you wanted to get away from the crowd. Comfortable home. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels!

Great Family Vacation
This was one of the best equipped houses we’ve ever vacationed at. Plenty of kitchen supplies, a closet full of games/puzzles, etc. and it was nice having use of beach equipment (chairs, toys, beach cart). Would recommend this place to others.

30th Birthday Family Trip
We we're able to book three nights to celebrate my son's 30th birthday at this popular property. The house is very cozy, clean and comfortable. The walk to the beach takes about 10 minutes through a nice quiet neighborhood. Crystal the owner is extremely communicative. We had a wonderful time and made memories that will last forever. I love the Outer Banks!

Great house tons of space!
This house hit my friends and my needs perfectly, it actually might have been slightly too big for the amount of us that showed up!
It's a bit far from the beach in the neighborhood but it's not a bad walk, I just used my truck to shuttle beach stuff and friends then came back on one of the bikes provided!

Great all around family vacation
We had a great family vacation. The location is close to shopping, an exercise/rail trail and the beach. The house was exactly as stated in the description. The owner was always available and answered questions immediately. We had everything we needed. The pool abd hot tub were perfect for days we took a break from the beach. The beach is an easy walk. Perfect family beach vacation
Great and responsive host, ample space for family, loved the pool, hot tub, and screened-in porch : ) we had everything we needed for our stay and loved the little extras like bike, horse shoes, hammock, fooz ball table. The walk to the beach was 8 mins and beach was never too crowded. Loved splitting the day with pool and beach. Three flight of stairs so may be a challenge for some. Lots of shops and restaurants within a 5 min drive or short bike ride. House and area was very pet friendly. House could use a little updating but didn’t bother us, we appreciated the space and amenities. Would def return.

Second Year- works for us!
We enjoy the ease of the 4 wheel drive beach, the pool and hot tub are a plus! We can walk to the beach to catch sunrise if we are up early! Easy access to biking! Love this location! Works for ages 5- 70!

Great family beach vacation
We had a great extended family vacation at this house in Corolla. Plenty of room for all, very comfortable and well equipped. We had one concern that was dealt with very quickly. A bit of a walk to the beach but we just drove up once a day to drop off our chairs etc. and that worked out well.

Nice home at the end of a cul-de-sac in a residential neighborhood. Quiet, easy access to the bike path that runs along route 12, shopping, restaurants within a short distance both directions. Beach access a short bike ride or walk, Two beach carts provided. Beach chairs and several bicycles along with a box full of beach toys. Nice pool and hot tub on the deck, outdoor shower, game room with foosball and sound system with speakers outside by the pool and up on the deck by the hot tub. Plenty of utensils pots and pans. Everything we needed!

Wedding Trip
The house was nice, well stocked, and maintained. We paid for the linen and towels. The King, Queen, and full beds were made. We didn't notice the bunks weren't made until we to take the sheets off before we left. That's when we noticed they were still folded in the bed. The kids sleeping in bunks never said anything. Chairs upstairs make a lot of noise on the floor and there is a bedroom right underneath. Easy to get in and out of, pool and hot tub were both serviced during our stay. Plenty of games, puzzles, and TV's.

Nice location
Nice week enjoying OBX with breezes on the deck and walking distance to beaches. The house was clean and pretty well stocked. We had 9 adults (aged 19-58) and used every room of house and pool. Never tried the hot tub but had no issues with anything while there. Yes, some of the furniture is showing some age, but considering we were out and about a lot, it was a good fit for us, at a very reasonable price. Crystal was the best at communicating. Messages with our Qs were answered so promptly!! A huge plus with this property.

The heart of Corolla
We had an incredible time staying here. The house was even nicer in person than in the photos. Everything we needed, and more, was there for our convenience and enjoyment. It was only 20 minutes north to get up to the 4x4 beach access and 20 minutes south to waterfront shops and restaurants in Duck. We loved having private beach access, tennis courts, and a gorgeous lake all within a couple blocks from the house. We also really enjoyed using the hot tub on those cool nights when it wasn't quite pool weather. This was the perfect little getaway for our family.
