Blue Sea Star II is a beautiful spacious beach house located in a very popular subdivision called Swan Lake.
The area is know for the close knit and family friendly atmosphere, so you will instantly feel at home. The property may be second row but beach access is as simple as walking across the small neighborhood road over street corner within few minutes walking.
The house is just as beautiful on the interior as the coastline it sits on. Spacious living, Dining and Kitchen are all open concept and flow from one another. Dining table seats 6, you can have a beautiful beach view from the living room window next to the dinning table. The Breakfast Bar seats 2 and kitchen counter seats 6. Kitchen features Granite Counter tops and Bar Top Table. This makes a great place for guest to relax and enjoy the chefs company while cooking.
Full equipped kitchen with tow fridges idea for large group gathering. Cooking utensils, dinning wares, small appliances such as wafer maker, sandwich toaster, electronic indoor grill / Panini Press are provided.
The house is decorated beautifully with paintings from living, to hallway, into each bedroom. All bathrooms are furnished with granite counter top and spacious cabinet.
Open space under house is perfect for hanging out, BBQ and enjoying the cool ocean breeze.
Bay views from the spacious cover back deck. The perfect place to watch the sunset and the birds feed. Feel the ocean breeze and watch sun rise from the large covered front deck.

Every bedroom is furnished with pillows, pillow shams, bed covers, sheets, blankets, and comforters. Bathroom towels, hand towels are provided. Linens are provided free to use, just remember wash them at your departure to leave clean linens for next guest. Cots and air mattress stocked inside laundry room to provide extra sleeping capacity.
Since 2018, we have done lots of improvements to this property: put on new shower unit, new sofa set in living, new washer/dryer and extra washer in laundry room, extra fridge in kitchen. New AC system ( air compressor and air handler) has been installed since 2018. New beddings (comforters and sheets) are in service since early 2019. New filtering system has been installed for entire house on Mar 2019. The filter cartridge is designated for removing sulfur & iron from well water. Water will be run through the filtering system before it getting into the house. We will continue to keep up with our properties to provide better and comfortable environments to our guests.
The house is furnished with Direct TV over 200 channels available plus local program, and DVR up to 100 hours so you can record your favorite TV show while you have fun on the beach!
5 in one game table in living for kids and adults for the raining days!
Beach toys are stocked in laundry basket downstairs.
Check in 4pm, check out 11am; some flexibility may be possible if no back to back rental going on arrival or departure day, but must be cleared by owner.

Three night holiday weekend stay was excellent! Place was very clean and well stocked, checkin was easy, beds comfy! Very close to the beach and a convenience store. Manager was super helpful via text for any questions I had.

The house is a great size. There was no laundry detergent or dryer sheets. No mixing or storage bowls. Missing a big pot to cook in. We had to go buy at local convenience store to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. It has everything else. Had to buy our own trash bags. Alot of rules about washing stuff if not will be charged a fee. Spent all morning doing that. Overall it is a great location. Nice balcony. Alot of the appliance need to be replaced. There were 2 refrigerators which made it nice. Batteries dead in remotes. Had to buy those. Whoever is cleaning this home is not doing good job. Pubic hair on wall of shower. I blame alot of the bad comments on cleaning people. They should be reporting this to owner.

The house was great, the property manager was amazing. She answered all messages promptly and was very accommodating. We rented the house to be close to the beach to do a Celebration of life for my mom on the beach. I look forward to staying here again, as we talked about doing a yearly stay around the same time every year as memorial to my mom.

The grounds were clean. Easy to get to. Parking under house. Big area with BBQ grill table, and picnic bench.
There were beach toys under steps.
We didn't get to use this time.
Fenced area behind was nice, wanted to close gate, but heavy and the grass was nice and thick made it difficult for me to move.
I just kept dog on leash and walked her.
The stairs up to top floor looked new. Very nice. I would think they will light the stars a bit more when they have finished. One security light was half way up steps& once activated was good.
** I'd suggest a rope light under railing ? ** more solar lights.
Upstairs deck was very nice. Chairs for sitting . In between house on front row you could clearly see the beach , the waves, birds, boats. Houses are close, but neighbors were respectful. No issues at all.
Inside home was pretty much as described on site. Note **bring salt, pepper, condiments.
The kitchen has much to offer with utensils and appliances. Two full sized fridges. **bring ice & water.
**bottle water was used for drinking, cooking, coffee, tea. Ice. Brush teeth.
Showers were local water. With a filter system.
I had read reviews of other properties everyone in areas nearby mentioned issues with water. So be forewarned it smells , run water for a bit and it clears lines. Gets better.
The counters floor and tables were gritty. Maybe normal and expected for a beach house. It was my 1st experience. Nothing a quick wipe/sweep didnt fix.

Owner communication was absolutely stellar, above and beyond our expectations. Had issues with dishwasher and one of the fridges and she had repair people out ASAP to look at and fix. Property was perfect was long weekend celebrating the hubs 50th birthday. Loved the little fenced in yard area for the pups too. Not on the beach, but less than a two minute walk to have the sand between our toes.We'll definitely save this house for a future visit!

My husband and I, along with our 3 daughters and our 6 grandchildren had a wonderful mini vacay at this beach house! Our 2 grandsons loved playing pool and foosball on the mini tables. We were so close to the beach! Our grands didn’t want to leave! We definitely want to come back! (The only bad thing that we experienced is we left our canopy set up on the beach overnight and it was stolen. So be sure to take it down after sunset.) We recommend this beach house!

The place itself is ok. However the water system should be improved. It’s well water which normally isn’t an issue. I have stayed at other places with well water and it was fine. However, this water smelled so bad I resorted to bottled water to rinse off. Other than that it was fantastic. The beach was beautiful. The owner is very nice. The kids had a blast.

Needed to get away for weekend w/dog so found this place. Good location but house smelled like mold/mildew and gave us a headache. Furthermore, you can’t drink the water at all so bring your own!! Btw, furniture was cheap and the beds were even worse (not comfortable). We travel quite (including international) often but not enough w/dog which is why we booked in first place. We had to not only MAKE our own bed but also had to do laundry and dishes, the minute I booked the place they said it was “non refundable” and explained all the “rules” AFTER I booked it, need to be more forthright!
They need to disclose up front, if this was a hotel it would be shut down. The water stinks also. Dishwasher was ran before we left but kept leaking in addition to leak from the fridge!! If you want a roof over your head then it’s fine but save yourself the trouble/money and stay elsewhere. Not that we expected a 5star resort but it wasn’t even quaint nor cute, paint was peeling TV in bedroom didn’t work.
The beach was busy including vehicles parked on the sand so not quiet as we’d hoped. We left early, very disappointing.

House was older but provided what we needed. Quick walk to the beach and quiet neighborhood. Host was awesome. Any issues and she or one of her maintenance crew were at the house within 10 minutes. Excellent customer service and very responsive to needs.

Exceptional stay and great location. Only down side was the strong smell of the water running through the house. It was overpowering and everyone complained of the “rotten egg” smell.

This isn’t beach front but it’s very close and felt really safe. The beach wasn’t crowded and was good for the kids although the waves were too small to do much boogie boarding. On the whole we liked it but the check out process was a little too much - doing all the laundry took us all morning. It was more than any other VRBO I’ve stayed at. But a nice location and place.

Stayed here for a week in November. Nice neighborhood close to the beach. Bed was comfortable. Wifi was subpar. Fenced in area would have been great but the slats were too far apart for the size of my dogs(20#)

Steps from the beach
This property is on the second row of beach houses with a great view of the gulf from the front deck and the marsh lands and sunset from the back deck. It is a probably less than 100 steps from the edge of the property to the edge of the dunes. The house is very spacious and nicely equipped with everything we needed. It also has a fenced backyard for your pups to enjoy.

Wonderful time with family!
My sister and our husbands stayed here with our young children ranging in ages 2-9 and we had a great time. The house is perfect for a larger group. Lots of room for people to sleep and lots of room in the living room to hang out with everybody. The location was awesome as well - a super short walk to the beach. We loved having the washer and dryer and the dishwasher having two refrigerators was great. The A/C worked so well, we were freezing even when it was set pretty high. I honestly have nothing negative to say, we had a really good stay and will be back next year!

We had a good time at Surfside for a little family getaway weekend. Owner was SUPER communicative with any issues / questions that came up!

Easy check in process. House is in need of a few repairs. But there were plenty of beds as promised. A bucket of beach toys were available and the beach was sooooo close - literally a two minute walk from the front door. We had a wonderful time. The bugs were bad, definitely bring bug spray, but it didn't help me a whole lot. But a very clean and kid friendly beach!
