Exceptional

This is a serene retreat away from stress. Most calming and peacefully quiet place. Chris and Maggie are exceptionally gracious hosts who did everything possible to make our stay extra special.

The Orchard is the perfect place to stay for a relaxing break.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the The Orchard; the hosts Maggie and Chris were extremely welcoming and the unit itself was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was great and the bonus tour of the orchard was fantastic. We now have an appreciation of avocado growers - and can now identify the different types of avocados we see in the supermarket!!

Clean, modern and tastefully decorated place was comfortable and provided for a relaxed stay.

A small thing really, for longer stays a mini job might be useful but otherwise we liked everything.

Fantastic B&B, one of the best we have ever stayed in.

A really beautiful B&B, set beside an avocado orchard, only 13 mins from Tauronga. Host Maggie was really lovely and we had tea with her and husband, Chris, who also showed us around the orchard and gave us avocados and fruit to take home! The B&B was quaint, very clean, fridge well stocked, comfy beds, great facilities, easy to find. We felt really pampered. Will definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Absolutely nothing could have been better. It was perfect.

A hidden gem, we wish we could have stayed longer!

We had the most pleasant stay at The Orchard. The owners were so lovely and greeted us on arrival - we felt so lucky to be welcomed by them & to stay on their beautiful property! The apartment was spotless and it had everything we needed for our stay - it also helped that it was very close to our friends wedding down the road. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

We had a wedding in the area, so for us it was exactly what we needed for weekend we had planned.

The great selection of books to read on offer as well as the fact Maggie had put in fresh preserved apricots in the fridge for breakfast.

The weather could have been better as there was a lovely outdoor area that were couldn't unfortunately use due to the rain!

The views were amazing lots of fresh air Accommodation was wonderful the owners were wonderful thanks for the avocados seven

I wish there was a stove there so that we could do our own cooking you can only do so much for the microwave

The Orchard was reminiscent of a little cottage from a fairy tale setting!

The location was serene and just what we needed after a long day on the roads. The host was so friendly and told us a bit about the history of The Orchard. We found our chat very informative and learnt a bit about the area. The area outdoors was so picturesque and we took a short walk and took heaps of pictures of course! There was a tiny chook house at the back which was kind of cute, I must have spent an hour watching the chickens pecking away and doing their usual mischief oblivious to my presence. Watching that was oddly relaxing. The rooms were smaller but with very nice décor and comfortable as beds with extra beddings. The huge book case in the lounge caught my eye with its even massive genre of books. The host had left some Halloween treats for the boys which they enjoyed. The breakfast was amazing with cereals, muesli and fresh fruits from the Orchard itself. Maggie gave us some yummy, nutty Hass avocados to take away! Overall our stay was refreshing and 100% perfect!
