About this house rental

This neat Yurt is 15 minutes south of interstate I-20 & Talladega Speedway between Birmingham AL and Atlanta, GA. Located on beautiful Logan Martin Lake which is known for fishing and boating. Must be 25 to rent this property. No parties, loud music or lewd behavior. Respect the RV community. The Pacific Yurt sleeps 8 if someone sleeps on the couch. It has a private bedroom with two twin beds or place together for 1 king, a loft with 1 full mattress and 1 queen mattress. Heating and air. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stove, refrigerator, regular coffee maker & microwave. Charcoal grill on the deck. Bathroom has a stand up shower. We provide clean towels and linens for the beds. Deck is over looking the lake. No animals allowed. The yurt is made of Vinyl and one swipe of a paw can do a lot of damage. No smoking inside of the yurt. Check-in time is 3 PM and check out time is 11 AM. If you have a problem with these times just let us know but the yurt is very popular and demand is high and we need time to clean and wash all linens. Rent a boat at one of the marinas on the lake. The park has community boat docks, boat ramp and white sandy beach. This is a rural area so pack accordingly. Outside fire pit. This property is not available to rent past 7 consecutive days. We do not rent it out for months or years at a time. THANKS!

First time ever staying in a yurt and is was perfect for our stay beautiful scenery. Wish we could have done more in the area but traveling for work and everyone in the area was very nice.

Cant really say enough about this place. From coffee on the deck in the morning through adult beverages by the fire pit at night it was all enjoyable. Our host Susie was remarkable. There was plenty of room for four adults. Overall stay was a 10 on a scale of 10

Beautiful view, yurt was fun to stay in. Everything you need was provided by host. The main level bed mattress was very hard, good for some folks just not me.

It was a cute place to stay a very cool experience to stay in a yurt. It would be more ideal to have a golf cart to rent while staying because the Peking situation is not very clear and it isn’t a walk i would want to do a ton. Other than that it is a great place to stay I would stay again!

Cute! Never stayed in an yurt before. Think glancing, with an indoor bathroom and wifi. Beautiful view of the lake, near quaint restaurants, and 20 minutes from the speed track.

Overall the trip was great. We had a problem getting into the gate initially but once we were in, the great experience started. We tried to make the experience as close to actual. Camping as possible so we cooked mostly on the outdoor grill and the campfire. One of the issues that we had was the fact that it was really cold both nights we were there and we could not get the 2 ac units to work even following the written instructions. There was always an error code. We slept both nights with it freezing in the yurt but accepted it as we were sleeping outside in a tent if were did actual camping. Overall amazing experience though. Recommend anyone take a trip up there.

We loved stayin in the yurt. My kids wanted to live in it perm. We will be back during the warm season. Very spacious and clean. I bought a onn at walmart so we could stream movies thats the only suggestion I have is get an onn its 14.88 at walmart. Even though it rained sat we had a great experience and lookin forward to coming back in the summer.

There have been some changes made to the Yurt that we did not find as positive. The other couple that we travel with the wife, along with myself, has difficulty climbing stairs. the extra linens for couch, which was horribly stained, were gone, as was much of the other furniture and appliances. no carving knives, no can opener ,no toaster and no extra paper items. We have been coming here for several years and were disappointed.

My husband and I stayed here while visiting our kids who live close by. We were a little skeptical about staying in a yurt (our first time) but we were pleasantly surprised! We had everything we needed and felt right at home. The view was amazing! We will definitely return.

We have stayed at both tiers on this property and this is the best. Awesome front porch with great lake views. The campground has a beach area and plenty of docks available if you bring your boat, the Back Porch is a quick ride away and worth a visit. The only thing that would make this yurt better is an actual king in the bedroom, it has two twins you can push together bits it’s still not a king. Good overall I highly recommend this yurt for any family looking to go boating on Lake Logan Martin!!

The yurt experience was FANTASTIC. Everything you would need to ensure a uniquely enjoyable yurt experience was provided. Dishes, towels, flatware and even grilling accessories with provided. The view of the lake was almost as pleasing as the other visitors at the site. This will definitely be an annual retreat for me!!!

Yurt was great! Very neat experience. Even though you are in a rv resort that has quiet time the surrounding houses do not and there was karaoke til 3 am sun morning but They have fans placed inside to drownd out outside noise. Very nice view and relaxing porch to enjoy it on!

This property has the most amazing lake view. We used it for a family glamping weekend and it was great. We stayed mostly unplugged which I would highly recommend. The beds are comfortable but the other furniture gets a little uncomfortable after a while. There's a great fire pit and we hand a wonderful time reconnecting around the camp fire. The road noise can take a little getting used to. You're not isolated, but it was overall a very restful weekend.

Stayed at tan yurt at the Clear Creek RV Park. This property was the cleanest, well-stocked Brno we’ve ever stayed at! Best view of the lake! The only negative I can mention is that the yurt is next to a noisy gravel road. All noise stopped at 10PM. I only mentioned this because if you are a light sleeper (not me) you should choose the farther away red yurt. Not worth taking a star away. We’ll definitely be back!
