This home is so beautiful, comfortable and well equipped that we didn’t want to leave. It’s a great location near everything in Nashville but on a quiet street. The hosts are great, they have given you all the information you could want about the house and surrounding area. Lots of great communication!

I talked to host several times regarding our stay and she was super responsive and helpful. When we arrived at the property we were very happy with the accommodations, the property itself was updated with very nice finishing touches and the decor was definitely Easy Nashville !
The kitchen was well stocked (we love to cook together and eat together) and had enough plates and silverware for us to have 2 meals a day without having to wash dishes in between.
There were extras in the baths in case you forgot something (which it seems someone in our group forgets something) like spray deodorant, new razors, and others.
We would definitely recommend this property and this host, and since my sister lives about a mile from the property, may stay here again.

At the risk of sounding selfish and delusional, I want to keep pretending that the Country Cottage is my second home! We have been coming here for about five years now and it's really perfectly located for us because we have friends nearby and it's away (but not too far) from downtown. There are too many great things to mention, but I will try: A lovely front porch where we like to sip wine from Woodland Wine Shop and watch our dog sunbathe in the yard; the new massive shower in the master bedroom, the proximity to so many great restaurants, and most of all, the dog friendly and welcoming attitude of Megan. She truly does think of everything and is so accessible. Anyway, we had a great time and we will definitely be back again soon!

Seriously, Everything about this property is simply great. This is a classy, well thought out and strategically accessible home. The decor is SO stylish, quirky and fun, thoughtful, contemporary, and yet not ‘in your face’ at all. From the front porch and yard and throughout the house, the house seems to beg you to be comfortable and feel at home while maintaining its fresh, clean lines. When you stop and look at the details and contents of each room, you really appreciate the thought and enthusiasm put into this renovation.
Furniture is very comfy without and engulfing you. In the back family room there are even cushy ottomans to rest your feet up on. There are four televisions in the house and I turntable with Albums! Thick velveteen blackout drapes complement the comfy bedrooms. The master bathroom is huge with separate toilet and a walk in closet. The guestroom is large and the beautiful guest bathroom is just out its doorway. Even the guestroom has double sinks and the tile surrounding the tub/shower is gorgeous.
There are wood floors throughout, which makes it comfortable to walk without shoes. I loved the solid wood square dining room table that would comfortably seat eight folks with a variety of mismatched chairs. The kitchen was stocked almost as well as my own. With two living areas, it gave us a chance to each have our own space to read or watch TV during our downtime. The garage outback has been turned into a smaller rental, but no one was there while we stayed.
House is in walking distance to Walgreens and countless restaurants. Nashville East is a very active area with nightlife and eateries everywhere. Didn’t track down the nearest coffee shop though. We were in town to visit friends who lived closer to Music Row so we weren’t in our neighborhood as much. And speaking of the neighborhood, it is very walkable.
I literally would not hesitate to rent this spot. And next time we’ll probably bring our dog too. Hosts with Southbound Stays are marvelously friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic about what they do. I wish they had more rentals in more areas than just this area of Tennessee. Have y’all thought of branching out into Asheville area? Maybe a little bit of Weaverville or Lake Lure??
Oh, and don’t miss the Country Music Hall of Fame while you’re here. And take advantage of the zillions of places for live music.

We greatly enjoyed staying at this Vrbo! What a great, clean and fun place. The hosts clearly took a lot of attention to detail and the whole place was vibe. Our stay at Country Cottage was just perfect! The house is beautiful and was spacious enough for six of us - the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living areas are beautiful and just as pictured! We couldn’t find anything that they haven’t thought of to ensure that it feels like home away from home! The perfect weather also allowed us to enjoy the front porch before and after our adventures in Nashville. And if all of this wasn’t enough, there was the special touch of birthday balloons and cake! We felt so at home at this beautiful house. It was decorated with such detail, and surprisingly close to downtown. We were also able to walk to restaurants, a brewery, and the grocery store. Very dog and family friendly. (Be sure to bring sheets to cover the furniture. It’s too pretty to cover in dog hair. Lol) We will keep this at this top of our list for all future stays and recommendations to friends. Wonderful experience!

Perfect home! The decor is beautiful, home is clean, the hosts think of everything and every age. We enjoyed walking to several delicious restaurants and although we didn’t go downtown it was so close. Our fur baby loved the fenced area and sitting on the porch people watching. We had the perfect stay and everyone agreed we would stay there again.

We stayed at the country cottage in late March - my husband, 2 teens, mother and our dog. We all had a fabulous time, including the dog who laid on the porch all week in the sun. The house is beautifully decorated with thoughtful amenities (baskets of items you may have forgotten to bring; welcome snacks, labels to guide finding items). It’s right off the highway and in walking distance of grocery stores, vintage shops, coffee shops, restaurants, and there’s a dog park nearby. My kids said it was the best place they’ve stayed! The communications prior to arrival (including the booklet) were very helpful. And, the owners checked in throughout our weeklong stay, which was much appreciated. We will be back.

This place is top notch! From the moment we walked in the door we felt appreciated by the owners! A darling welcome note and goodies like I’d never seen before! When they redid the house they replaced everything with only top notch things - appliances- bedding- towels etc! In fact I NEED those towels!!! The beds were VERY comfortable! The decor was so FUN! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could imagine! I needed a ziplock baggie and low and behold there was a box! In the bathroom the cutest baskets with items you may have forgotten to bring - seriously! They have thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay here feel as if you are home! The master shower is huge! The house was the perfect location to do what we were there for perfect! 5 min to Broadway and 15 min to opry. Etc. BEST VRBO we’ve ever stayed at! Can’t wait to go back!!!

We had a lovely time at this cute house! There are good restaurants and a couple of grocery stores within walking distance, and the location is convenient to downtown. Megan was a thoughtful and attentive host, and everything was comfortable and easy.

Cute rental property. Just the right size for our family of three and small dog. As this is an older home, with its unique design, be aware that most of the doors do not close completely. decorated very nicely.

Family Wedding weekend
This house was a perfect location to decompress during our family wedding weekend in Nashville. Walkable to Mas Tacos and the Pharmacy as well as several other restaurants and cafes. This place was exactly as pictured and so much more. I came with 2 other girlfriends for a 40 and fabulous trip. We absolutely loved it. They are so generous with setting up the place so that you immediately feel at home and provide so many amenities just in case you forgot something. Lots of games for all ages. We didn’t stay with a pet but if we did they would’ve even had it covered! Truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay and the absolute best host we’ve ever used. Thank you so much!!!
