About this house rental

This little gem is located between MM 7-8 in North Buck Creek on Lake of the Ozarks. Enjoy dinner on the expansive deck, soak up the sun on the dock, swimming and fishing made easy thanks to our no-wake cove. This cabin comes with a 10’x28’ boat slip at no additional charge and is fully furnished. It sleeps 4-6 with a queen-size memory foam mattress in the Captain's Quarters and a full-size bed in the Crew's Quarters. We can provide a Queen Air Mattress if requested. We installed a 6 Person Hot Tub and have a fire-pit for relaxing evenings and sunsets. Additionally, this cabin has a W/D, Blackstone 36” gas gridle, two flat screen Smart TV's, cable, DVD player and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully stocked including everything you need for grilling. We provide a 6'x15' floating mat, noodles, saddle seats and life vests for the children. And yes, PETS POSSIBLE so feel free to bring your fury friends!! Please contact owner if more than two pets.
Bringing a boat? Lake Shores Marina is the closest ramp. Renting a Boat? Lake Time Boat Rentals offers free dock drop off and pick up!! Forget something? Buck Creek C-store is less a mile away. Hungry? Rocky Top Bar and Grill is a mile away by car, Shady/Lazy Gators and H. Toads Bar and Grill are just across the channel by boat! Raining? Laurie, MO has a movie theater and an indoor pool! Shopping and restaurants are close by along with Jacob's and Bridal Cave. Ozark International Raceway is less than 20 minutes away. Ha Ha Tonka and Lake Ozarks State Park have fabulous, well-marked hiking trails. Wildlife you may see in our cove include Deer, Foxes, Geese, Ducks, Turtles, Herons, Toads, Fish, Eagles, Bunnies, and an occasional Armadillo!

We enjoyed our stay. The owner was very helpful and hospitable. The location is family friendly. The house was big enough for our family of 5 plus 2 dogs, and it was really nice to have a private dock for our boat.

We had a wonderful stay! This house is super dog friendly. The location is great on a very quiet cove. Renee is super sweet and quick to help with anything, even bringing us meds to help our daughter that got scratched out on the lake. I personally loved how they have everything labeled inside, it makes it easy to understand how to work things in the house. They definitely put a lot of attention into details with this home.

We loved our time at Kaptain Morgan's Retreat! The property's location on the water is wonderful and the swim mat, paddleboards, water toys, etc were an excellent bonus. Osage Beach was about a 40 minute drive away which made for a fun day, and we found lots of great spots just down the road in Laurie as well (highly recommend the Malted Cow for ice cream). The host, Renee, was very friendly and helpful. The property was clean, comfy, and had everything we could possibly need. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Lake of the Ozarks.

We had the best time at Kaptain Morgan’s Retreat. The house had literally everything we could want. The kitchen was fully stocked, the dock had lots of toys for my kids, and the hot tub was a nice escape from the sun at the end of the day. Renee was awesome to work with — super friendly and accommodating!! We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Kaptain Morgan’s retreat! It was a great get away for my husband and I’s anniversary! Renee was great to work with and very prompt with any concerns or needs! The place was just as described and off a quiet cove on Lake of the ozarks with easy access to everything. Would definitely recommend this place and will book to stay again soon!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem tucked away in a very peaceful and quiet cove. We enjoyed sitting on the deck eating dinner with our 2 fur kids listening to the sounds of nature. This property had everything you would need to enjoy your time..they thought of every detail to make it perfect to include a grill, hot tub, fire pit, and private dock. Very enjoyable stay, wish we had more time there.

My husband and I brought our dog and our boat for a week of bass fishing! This was the absolute best VRBO we have ever stayed at! It was very clean and comfortable! The host’s are very accommodating with all of the amenities they offer! We will more than likely book this property again!

Loved our stay here. Renee was super easy to work with. This property is a little ways from all the touristy things in Osage beach but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Very dog friendly! 5 stars!

Great Place, with theexception that it advertised as 1 & 1/2 bath. We only found one. Had Baked potatoes, vegtables, and steaks ready to go on grill, but two empty propane tanks. NO GRILLING. Other than that great place.

Just a little slice of paradise! We had a wonderful time staying at Kaptain Morgans Retreat! We celebrated our honeymoon here! The property is beautiful, the house is updated and has all the accommodations! The hot tub is just such a great bonus! It was so convenient to be able to bring our boat have a private boat slip and just junp right on the water! We definitively plan to come back!

Nice updated place that had everything you would need for a lake stay!! We don’t have a boat so it’s located not far off the road so you can get to town or other places at the lake. You can float off the dock, which was something we were look for. We plan to stay again but for longer so we can utilize all the extras this place includes.

We really enjoyed the paddle boards that also can be used as kayaks with their flip up seats. Teens enjoyed the swim mat. Great communication with Renee, she is always willing to help with any request or need we might have. Place is small but cozy, we knew that going in. Everything updated and nice inside. Comfy seats on dock, great step ladder into lake, and hot tub was very enjoyable at nights!

Another amazing stay at Kaptain Morgan’s. This was our second stay and we loved it just as much as the first. I did once again over pack, Renee thinks of everything for you, from toiletries to cooking spices. There isn’t a dining room room table but there are tv trays and we actually like the set more this way. Updates to the living room, and kitchen this year we’re awesome. We didn’t use the fire pit but did the hot tub. I didn’t think I’d care about the hot tub so much but it was super nice and very relaxing!

Great location. Just a short drive to tge supermarket and bait. Kitchen is well stocked. Washer dryer are a huge plus, dog friendly and the deck has two gates that latch so you can sit and bake in the sun with the pups. Hottub is amazing and very well kept and clean. The dock was really nice to fish off of and has everything you would need to have fun with the family. It was very quiet the only noise we could hear was very faint, it was music coming from one of the resorts. They also have a great selection of birds from hummingbirds to chickadees. They have great quality lounge chairs and huge towls. They have helpful notes and lables to help navigate the property. Basically this place is perfect for the active families or just for those looking to relax. The only negatives were my issues, there was a bunch of leftover items in the refrigerator like open bottles of water and food in the freezer. the stairway from the deck to the hottub was hard on my knee and hip and not lit at night. the amount of spiders, hornets and ticks were a bit much. Just taking the dog to the grass patch for bathroom breaks would have us pulling ticks off of everyone and I dont mean 1 or 2, we pulled off 14 ticks off in one day.

Renee has a beautiful home that is very cozy. Great location for my husband's fishing tournament. The deck is perfect for enjoying the outdoors. We also found some great places to eat in Laurie.

Clean and comfy! The hot tub was so wonderful! Keep in mind there are only tv tables inside so if you want to sit inside for a meal there is no kitchen table. Fyi. Overall, it's so nice and clean and everything you could need. Thank you Renee! We will be back

We had a wonderful time in this delightful cabin. Was cutely decorated, clean and comfortable for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Loved the large capacity washer and dryer. Was very well stocked with towels/linens, dishes, pots and pans. Dock was great- plenty of room to spread out and fishing was great. Swim area very nice with steps into was Water- large float mat was available for use. Had a wonderful surprise gift awaiting our arrival! Hostess was very thoughtful and made contact with us our second day to make sure we had everything we needed and even offered concierge type services of having groceries deliver etc. We will have no hesitation in looking to stay here again if available on our next trip.

Perfect property for a memorable get away

This property was perfect for our family (my husband and I along with our nine-year-old and 11-year-old sons and our dog). We enjoyed fishing, swimming off the dock and ending the evenings on the deck making dinner on the Blackstone. The house was very cute and clean and it had everything we needed. Renee was easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. I would definitely plan to come back here and recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet spot on the lake.

Pirate theme was consistent throughout the entire property all the way down to the knobs on the kitchen cabinets. Nice place to stay that had everything you could possibly need. Great access to the lake on a no wake cove. Would stay again!
