I highly recommend this house that is nestled beautifully in the Hollywood Hills. The house is located in beautiful and peaceful surroundings but is less than 10 minutes away from Hollywood life. The house is immaculately clean with all the home comforts anyone could require, a comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and if you have time, lots of DVDs and interesting books to read all about Hollywood. Great little private two bedroom one bath space. Easy $10-$15 Uber to just about anywhere in the Hollywood area. Highly recommend.

Place was comfy and cozy very safe with no noise at all nice and quiet the whole time I was there will def be staying there again

My family of 4 stayed here at this perfect location and had a great time! Tucked away on a dead end street away from the hustle and bustle of the city with privacy. Also, a short walk to Runyon Canyon where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Hollywood hills. An experience to remember for a lifetime!

Place was great!! The outside was beautiful with plety of flowers and views!! The inside was decorated well with all kinds of movie memorabilia. Beds were comfy too. Frances was a great host. Would definately reccomend and rent again

My husband I recently took my elderly dad to do some site seeing in LA. So the house was perfect for us three. Ms. Frances was amazing! Great communication from the minute I booked. I received all the necessary information within days of booking. The house had everything we needed. The location was great. We were close to almost all main attractions. The place was clean and super private.. I did wish the TV’s were smart TV’s for some streaming, but it did provide local cable and a great selection of DVD’s. Definitely recommend and definitely will keep in my mind when I return.

Owner insisted I introduce myself and my children. No thermostat as advertised, misleading bc no central air. One wall mounted AC in small bedroom, one in LR none in the master, making it uninhabitable in summer. No top sheets on the beds, just hot duvets, terribly uncomfortable in the summer. The people in the master got very little sleep at all. We had to rotate between too hot with no AC or eventually getting too cold if we left it running at night. I did not see any grill as advertised. Privacy was a HUGE issue and I received politely framed but annoying nit picky emails about leaving the AC on for my dog when we stepped out, and parking, which was extremely tight and we could barely open our doors, straight into poisonous oleander bushes my kids struggled to avoid. Bathroom window has no screen and the lock appears to be broken. There is no fan or other way to get rid of moisture. Kitchen had about 4 plates, 5 bowls, 6 forks and spoons, so hand washing or running the dishwasher a lot. The photos of the full dish cupboard are inaccurate. One of the bedrooms has no light on the switch, just a small broken table lamp. all cords from TV were constantly disconnected and not functioning, every time we wanted to watch TV we had to do 20 minutes of replugging in cords and switching between Roku and another service. fridge doesn't fit in the kitchen, a person has to squeeze in. Out of space, more to say....

I stayed here for three nights with my two teenage sons. Perfectly situated for visiting Los Angeles, and the apartment (more a self contained villa really) was beautiful, well equipped and in a amazing and safe neighbourhood. It even had a small private garden area (saw a hummingbird amongst the flowers) and a sun trap courtyard. 100% would recommend staying here and I would stay there again should I ever return. Host contact was superb. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Great location in the hills , then cooler to relax after visiting . Good communication with the owner and the house is very beautiful and well equipped . We definitely recommend

A lovely bungalow nestled in the Hollywood hills. Perfect for a respite from the hustle of LA.

We travelled with our kids (14, 14 & 17) and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Lots of room for all of us, never felt cramped. The listing is 100% accurate, beautiful outdoor & indoor spaces…not to mention a view of the Hollywood sign right from the driveway. The location in the Hollywood Hills was perfect. Secluded, yet less than 10 mins to Hollywood Boulevard and Universal Studios. Frances was very helpful and sweet. We would love to stay again.

Everything was as advertised. Frances’ place is very comfortable and convenient for our stay. Her place was very clean and well stocked. Frances was also accessible. We hope to have a return visit soon.

Frances’ place was the perfect home base for our family vacation. Location was convenient to tourist attractions as well as practical needs like Target and grocery stores and we had everything we needed for meals, coffee, etc. The beds were super comfortable and my teens enjoyed all the movies and memorabilia while my husband and I appreciated the gorgeous views and secluded feel. Absolutely would stay here again!

Cute place for our family of 4. We loved the location, so close (if you have a car) to Universal, the Chinese theatre, walk of fame. Pretty garden to enjoy a beer and look at the hills after a day of sightseeing. Great views of downtown at night and the Hollywood sign in day. Look forward to staying here again!

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to visit Universal, Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Sign, and Warner Bros. Studio. We never had to get on the interstate. Every place we wanted to visit was a 10 minute drive or less. The house is clean and comfortable. Everyone in my family loved the beds and pillows. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed several days as we explored the city. The location is close to Hollywood and universal studios, but up in the hills above it so you get a nice relaxing place to stay. The property was very clean and bright and had everything we needed. Had some nice refreshing, cool breezes in the evening. Small garden outside the second bedroom was lovely. We enjoyed our stay!

Everything was great about this, the place was perfect for the 4 of us. Close enough to everything, house gems aside from the amazing views were the variety of DVDs and all the books. After spending all day out it was nice to come back to something relaxing! Whenever we comeback we’re definitely staying here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Francis and felt honored to have the opportunity to experience a little slice of the Hollywood Hills mystique. More than enough space and privacy for the two of us, but certainly perfect for a small family or two couples, etc. We were in town for a festival at the Hollywood Bowl and enjoyed using this place as our "home" base for venturing down to the bowl, west Hollywood and beyond for meals out, site seeing and visiting friends. The grounds are serene, gardens and views amazing and the neighborhood is quiet. From the time we arrived, everyone we periodiclly encountered carried the same kind regard as our host seemingly happy to be a part of enriching the life and experience for her and each guests. The description and photos are entirely and joyfully accurate. Francis and her team have thought about everything that one will need and more, with touches that make you feel far more at home than away. We found everything to be in great working order and access to the unit was secure and private. When available, we will certainly keep this place at the top of our list for future visits to the city. Great location to visit Hollywood, Universal and Warner Brothers studios. We loved the large collection of DVDs with extra history. The movie posters were a nice touch for location. Great host and available quickly to respond to any questions we had.

My daughter and I stayed at this great guest house for a vacation and to visit family that lives in the area. The place was perfect!! Very comfortable and well maintained. It’s a great location to stay for LA sightseeing and a quiet getaway in the Hollywood hills. And it’s 5 minutes from Universal Studios. Frances was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We didn’t have any issues with the property whatsoever. The beds were very comfortable and the decor was bright, cheerful, and enhanced our stay. We had to deal with some logistical issues with our rental car and Frances was accommodating and helpful even though the issue was not related to the property. We had a wonderful vacation that was made better by the great accommodations!!

This property was the perfect spot for the four of us. The area is quiet, on a dead-end street with almost no traffic. You can see the Hollywood sign from the driveway, and the Griffith Park Observatory from just down the hill. The two bedrooms are well separated offering privacy, and you have a bright a spacious common area for eating, reading or playing board games. Tons of classic movies and books on cinema to keep you occupied while you wind down from a day of touristing. Outpost Drive will take you to Hollywood & Highland (or Ralph's) in less than 10 minutes. Frances is a gracious host who is there when you need her. We cannot recommend this home enough.

We had a fantastic long weekend stay! Starting with outstanding communication from our very kind host, to the cleanliness of the well appointed house, to the to-die for garden with a view, to simple things like a movie library that we could have spent days digging into. The location provided swift and easy access to all things Hollywood and while that called us, we were torn because we could have spent our whole time at the house and been very very happy. This is a wonderful unique spot that allows you to wake up in the clouds above the city but yet be so close to everything. And the bed is AMAZING!! Thank you Frances!!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Frances was very easy to work with, the place was exactly as advertised and very pleasant. Conveniently located to Studio City and Hollywood, to hiking and exploring in the hills, to many of the wonderful aspects L.A. has to offer. Would gladly stay again.

My brother and I had a wonderful stay in Frances' home... Gorgeous doesn't even begin to describe the views of the Hollywood Hills! Everything was clear upfront and communication was always open. The only suggestion (and this is reaching) would be to upgrade the shower head in the bathroom, which was a bit low flow for my liking. Otherwise we have no complaints whatsoever, would absolutely return, and thank Frances for her kindness and hospitality throughout our stay. I only wish our unit's view was as amazing as hers! Highly recommend this home for a small family or two guests/couples that don't mind sharing the one bathroom. The garden is a nice treat, as is the convenience of the parking space and the amenities (WiFi, coffee supplies with the exception of creamer, use of washer/dryer, and cable TV plus a HUGE collection of DVDs and books). All in all, a five star long weekend trip! 👍
