Spacious 1 bedroom apartment. 5 min walk to Green line, easy access to Longwood med, Fenway, Boston, Jamaica Pond. The unit offers best of 2 worlds, a quiet and residential neighborhood to come home to with access to the city. Hardwood floors, king sized bed and sofa bed, fully applianced kitchen, ground level unit, gets great sunlight, direct access to parking, laundry on sights. Pets considered. Great neighborhood with restaurants, pond, coffee shops and grocery just steps away. Our dedicated STARS team provides personalized, responsive guest services. We’re locals and readily available with insider tips for your best stay. We value your privacy through self check-in/out and an extensive Welcome Packet and Neighborhood Guide delivered electronically and in each unit. Need something? You are located very close to the Longwood Medical area, Jamaica Pond and close to the Green Line train that will take you directly to Downtown Boston and Copley Square is just a few stops away! Easy access to Fenway Park and Kenmore Square! The train is just about 5 minutes away! After your reservation has been confirmed, we will email you a contract for you to review and sign. The contract will just outline the basic house rules. Pets are considered on a case by case basis. Please let us know if you will be bringing a pet. There is an additional $150 pet cleaning fee as the apartment has to go through a special cleaning after your stay. Guests bringing pets will be required to sign a pet contract. Parking is available at $10/night. Please let us know if you will be needing a parking spot. Parking is at a first come first serve basis and has to be reserved ahead of time to guarantee a space. Pack n' Play/ High top chair available upon request for $10/night. There is a $150 lost key fee and $100 lock out fee.

This little unit did what we needed it to in a pinch. We were in town for several different campus visits. It may not be really conducive to seeing the city from a tourist standpoint. I especially would avoid this unit in the winter, due to the front door not shutting or sealing all the way. When locked, it had a large gap always visible. Just not ideal and even more so if it had been any colder out. It was quiet and covered the necessities for a few days.
I would not rent again for a couple of reasons. 1. It needs a DEEP cleaning. There was general dirt and grime throughout, which is most likely due to the age of the unit. Random holes in the walls, dirt/who knows what smeared down the back side of the bathroom door. 2. The location "off the green line" per the unit description isn't quite accurate. It is a 16 minute walk to a T station from this unit, please keep that in mind if you think you are going to use mass transit.
Like I said, I was in a pinch for booking a room during a very busy fall weekend in the Boston area. The bed was very comfortable and the paid parking spot was a bonus. It just wouldn't be my preference in the future.

We loved the location of this property, safe neighborhood and walk to the metro. We also appreciated the quick and responsive communication with the owner. The internet was spotty at times and the apartment itself was older without central heating and air. We were thankful for the parking stall option in the city.

Our nephew graduated from Boston College and the property was very conveniently located for this event. Their are lots of family owned restaurants and beautiful parks located nearby. The property was clean and lots of helpful amenities such as an umbrella! The communication with the property managers was exceptional. We had an issue with our parking spot but they kept us informed and got the issue resolved.

The place was in an amazing area! Brookline is a very safe and walkable area. Quick walk to the green line. close to parks and restaurants and a market. Loved it and cannot wait to come back!

Check in was easy , super clean . Love the extras like slippers , toothbrush , coffee , sugar . Wonderful safe and quiet neighborhood .

The apartment was very clean and had a functional, though dated kitchen. Parking is available for an extra $10 fee per day. Negatives: Internet didn't work for a while, but the property manager worked on fixing that successfully. Phone reception in this garden-level apartment was very spotty. Laundry was more complicated than the instructions implied.

This was a very cozy, comfortable apt.
Just needed a place to stay while I moved my daughter back to BC. Property owner was very responsive and accommodating to all of my needs. Was able to get parking spot in back of building for an extra $10 night. Would rent again if needed.

The bed and pillows were wonderful! We had a little problem with the lock box but finally figured out how to close it. And the toilet "rocked" but was still useable. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Sue

This apartment was cute and functional. It was close to Jamaica Pond and the reservoir park. The supplies for bathroom and kitchen were very adequate, would’ve been nice to have salt and pepper though. The host was easy to reach and communicated well. The downside was the low ceilings ( half underground apartment), the toilet moves when someone sits on it, and the phone/WiFi is very spotty. Also the microwave makes crazy noises when in use and the back door from the outside is very difficult to get into with the key.

Boston is not a place to go on vacation unless you know where you are going. Overall it was something new for the wife and I. We did enjoy ourselves visiting our friends from Maine. Easy on and off for train. Location of property was a plus.
It had your own kitchen, which was nice, bed was very comfortable, the ceilings were a little low, and the place was a little outdated( bathroom). Kama Cicero was awesome! Was hoping for quality
As wonderful as the pre communication was with the rental company, I was hoping to provide a glowing review. Sadly, that is not the case. The easiest way now is to list the Pros/Cons.

Misleading VRBO listing saying washer/dryer & NOT explaining that it is NOT inside the unit but instead is 2 doors down the block & you have to pay
Welcome book has broken apart
Much needed repair & cleaning - to fill holes, fix broken bathroom tile, heating elements along the floor
Microwave makes a grinding sound when in use
Could use wifi on iPhone & iPad but not available with Apple TV
No usable electrical outlet in the bathroom - the storage rack is blocking it
Bathroom ceiling has mold
No fan in bathroom to take steam out from shower
Rug in bath looks very old & in need of washing

Good, quiet apartment
The host was easily reachable for questions before coming and quick with information and a comprehensive welcome packet. The parking spot is easy to find around the back of the building and we experienced no problems related to that. The front entrance is a little hard to get into, but just keep jiggling the key and you'll get in. The apartment was a little low-ceilinged but very cozy feeling. Water pressure in the shower was very good with nice hot water. There was a lot of available dishware and pots and pans to use if you plan on cooking, but the kitchen is a little small. We only wished that there had been an hdmi port easily available for connection to the living room's TV. The host reached out during our stay to ask about problems or if we needed help, which was appreciated. The walls are a little thin in the building so just know people can probably hear you a bit if you make a lot of noise. The apartment was about 0.8 mi from the nearest subway station, but we enjoyed the walk every morning because it is a nice neighborhood and pretty peaceful. There are a few restaurants close by, but the majority of things are by the subway station. Overall, a really nice and reasonably priced stay.

Affordable apt in Boston
Clean affordable apt only walking distance to metro train. Everything was as shown in advertisement. Nice neighborhood, quiet street, overall good experience. Only complaint was the WiFi was very slow.

Cozy Place in Brookline
We really enjoyed our stay in Brookline. It was convenient for going to the Red Sox game and we really liked some of the little touches that were added to the unit. We particularly appreciated the complimentary snack basket. The sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable for a fold out bed. We’d recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay in Boston.
