About this house rental
This one of a kind property bordering the Westcott Bay Oyster farm and National Park with trail access to English Camp. Your backyard is Westcott Bay. New addition: We now own the property adjacent to ours giving you over a full acre to enjoy with a seasonal stream and waterfall. (Be aware there are steep drop-offs on this property) From the property you can launch kayaks dig for clams or just relax and enjoy the sunset. Very private setting with room to play. (We have kayaks and paddle boards for your enjoyment as well as bicycles). Located at 664 Westcott dr. The house has 2 bedrooms each with a queen size bed and a seasonal bunkhouse. It is separate from the main house (no bath) with a queen bed very private for those traveling with older kids or two couples. Suited for Summertime only. Great room has sliding glass doors and windows looking over the bay bring the outside in. There's a super comfy couch, chair and bean bag. We chose to go unplugged with NO WIFII, there is 5G cell phone reception for hot spotting Verizon, T Moble and AT&T work well. We have direct tv to keep up with the rest of the world. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, keurig, toaster, blender and general supplies. The bath is a tub and shower combo with a single sink, small but efficient. There is a covered porch with propane grill, crab cooker and grill utensils. We have a fire pit ready for marshmallows or hot dogs. There is an outside table and chairs for dining outside on our long summer nights. There is a dock that goes dry due to tide. There are 4 adult and 2 kids kayak's, paddle boards and 4 bicycles for your enjoyment. And remember your well behaved dog is always welcome with an additional fee. House is not suited for CHILDREN UNDER 5 Due to gas burning stove is the main heat for the house and gets VERY HOT, as well as a medium bank with drop offs to be aware of. Beautiful and very comfortable house and grounds with gorgeous water views. It’s right next to a National Park and hiking/biking trails. Bikes and kayaks provided (too cold in March for us though). Our dog was very happy there also!

Lovely location. Deb was quick to respond to our inquiries. Wonderful yard for the dog. Unfortunately, things weren't very clean inside when we arrived.

We love the location for hiking into the English camp and exploring the north end of the island. It's a small house, but has everything you need. The kitchen is a little tight if you plan on doing a lot of cooking.

This was our second time staying here and love its location and calm atmosphere. More than enough space if we had more family with us. It's a short distance to any location on the island but prefer that it's closest to Roche Harbor. It's relaxing, warm, and cozy. We'll have to try it sometime when the weather is warmer to utilize the bikes or kayaks.

My husband and I spent a little over two weeks at this beautiful house on Westcott Bay. We enjoyed many mornings, drinking coffee while sitting on the couch and looking out at the view. While there is no Wi-Fi here, we used our phone as a hotspot, and that worked perfectly. We were able to stream shows on the TV and watch a couple movies.
We also bought our kayaks with us, and spent a lot of time kayaking in the bay, and out towards the other islands that are nearby.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a stay, that is peaceful, on the water and with a close drive to Friday Harbor.

A stay at Westcott Bay is simply a delight. Lots of time to read and throw the ball to Dash. Just decompress. We enjoyed the firepit, cooking fresh mussels from our next door neighbor, the oyster company by a roaring fire. Had a fun hike to English camp; explored the beaches at the south end; spent time combing the second hand book store. The only thing we didn’t get to do was paddle because of a small craft advisory--thank God, for once the forecast was overstated. This place is so beautiful, yet cozy and comfortable. Thank you.

This property is so peaceful and relaxing. Our host was so responsive even delivering a couple of forgotten items to us at the ferry. Will definitely be staying here again when we’re back in the area!

Pretty much everything we needed. Encourage folks to bring slippers . Even had an extra dog visiting us. A perfectly lovely stay. Would come again. Restful. Our dog was reluctant to leave as well

We have been going to the San Juan’s for the last five years and this has been our favorite place that we have ever stayed! The home is beautiful, with very comfortable beds, couches, a gorgeous porch, stunning views, a dock with canoes and standup paddleboard‘s, and a beautiful property that allowed our dog to run around. Our host, Deb, was extremely communicative and very accommodating. We loved being able to wake up in the morning and walk to some great hikes, as well as get food at Wescott Bay for lunch. It is a great location that is close to Roche Harbor, our favorite restaurant Duck Soup, and just a short 10 to 15 minutes into town in Friday Harbor. We are already planning our next trip back. It is so nice to stay somewhere that allows dogs, our dog is a member of our family and having a place to stay that he loved meant so much! Thank you for sharing your home!

Stayed at this property over Labor Day weekend. Deb was extremely easy to deal with and communicated back right away. She even worked with us to get access to the property earlier than the check-in time.
The property is very beautiful and secluded like your own private escape. The location is great, right next door to Westcott Bay Shellfish Company and hiking trails. Also, not far from town and the ferry. We had a wonderful time, we will be back for sure!!

This is our fifth time staying here, we’ve come four times with my parents and children, and one time on a couples trip. This location is beautiful, you don’t want for much and even on a rainy day it’s the most peaceful Vaca! We kayaked everyday, did the oyster farm for lunch and enjoyed chillin with the kids and pups! My only complaint was the dIRECTV, there used to be a DVD player, so we always brought DVDs, but this time we were restricted to the DIRECTV which was not awesome, just not much on and we had two days of rain and thunder during our stay. We played tons of board games, did a 1000 piece puzzle, made cupcakes, tried to occupy our time the best we could, but having another source in regards to TV entertainment would’ve been nice. Otherwise, another successful trip, we always leave feeling very relaxed! Thanks again Deb! Can’t wait for next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with the serenity and amenities Deb’s facility has to offer. Communication with Deb was excellent before and during our stay. Be sure to take advantage of the excellent bocce courts in Roche Harbor including a visit to the Sculpture Garden for a relaxing afternoon activity. And for disc golfers out there, pack a few discs to experience the challenging forested 18-hole course.

We enjoyed an idyllic stay in the Westcott Bay cottage. The view from the front deck is sublime while we listened beautiful bird calls throughout the day and observed birds and butterflies in the fringes. The cottage is simply furnished but all basics are provided and to support relaxation, comfort, conversation, and contentment. I love the general area as great hiking, kayaking, and touring adventures extend in all directions. The only negative is that the neighbors are building their dream home next door and power tools were audible during much of our stay.

We felt like we were in dreamland here. We spent 3 nights here during a 10-day PNW trip - my husband, son, and myself - and we did NOT want to leave. We loved everything about it. It may seem small but the radio in the kitchen made us so happy - we found a fun local station (104.1), would turn it up a little, and sit on the porch, listening to the music and enjoying our view and surroundings. You have everything you need here. We took our first family kayaking trip from this dock - a memory we will have forever. Deb was super responsive.

This beautiful home was the perfect place for our sister trip. We watched the sunset on the dock, and really enjoyed walking around the property. Very clean, comfortable beds, had everything that we needed. Our host, Deb, was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed during our stay. We hope to come back again!

Outstanding location next to oyster farm and English Camp trails. Our 2 FB pups loved it. Great 4’ stone crush fire pit ring for evening fires. Great views and stream on property made it relaxing.

This property was the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. From kayaking with seals in the morning to afternoon adventures around the island and then watching the sunset while resting on the deck. From check in to check out everything went very smoothly and appreciated the very friendly host. This place will forever be on our list of favorites!

Simply amazing property! My wife and I stay there while on the island. We were able to take the kayaks out on the bay and saw some seals. The house was immaculate. Everything anyone could ask for. The deck was really nice with appropriate furniture. The check in process was seamless and Deb was fantastic! The privacy of this home is unsurpassed. The proximity to Wescott Bay. Shellfish company is amazing also. Watching the oyster beds come up at low tide was special. Do not even hesitate to book this property!

We had a relaxing stay and are appreciative of the peaceful ambience of this property. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs at the fire pit and enjoyed watching the tide going in and out. Lots of thoughtful touches to the place to make our stay more enjoyable and we hope to return in the future when the weather is warmer so that we can use the bikes and kayaks. We loved everything about this house! It was perfect on both the rainy and sunny days - we loved having the views and all the outdoor space. Our family of 4 was very comfortable and would have happily stayed longer.

Where do I even begin! I'm already missing waking up there. Everything from booking to departure was seamless and better than described. The pictures don't do it justice. I highly recommend doing a whale watching tour while you're on the island. We had a fabulous time and have told all our friends and family about this adorable place on the water. I hope to bring the grandchildren one day! Thanks again Deb for such a great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation rental. The location is fabulous..right on the water and a short walk to English Camp. The home itself is well appointed and comfortable. I was hard to leave and we hope to return!
