Beautifully situated, friendly and comfortable.

The situation was lovely - right by the beach. We went for a walk by the sea before breakfast. The breakfast was also good - they bake their own bread. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely views from the rooms.

Coffee couldn't be provided in the evening. The machine had been switched off.

We found out we couldn’t come back with our dogs.

Room with a View.

Friendly welcome, shown to my room up a narrow steep staircase. Upstairs landing had a coffee machine, and a tray with spare biscuits, teas, and milks. Double bedroom, comfortable bed, and lovely sea view. Ensuite shower/bathroom with toiletries. Clean and nicely furnished. Refreshments supplied. Asked if wanted dinner which booked. Breakfast came with the room rate and was delicious.

Great place!

Very comfortable room. Quiet and well appointed.Our host was extremely hospitable and made our stay great. Breakfast was fab!

Friendly pub with good grub and comfy beds

Fab location almost on the sea front and easy walking distance from loads of things. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were clean and beds were so so comfy. And then the food….. a young chef who makes his own bread and enjoys feeding people good food!

Perfect position in Aldeburgh

Staying at the cross keys was excellent from top to bottom The room was lovely clean and well laid out the ,bath was a bonus with powerful hot shower too The teas inc decaf and coffee etc were great and refilled as required Inc the biscuits The breakfast was lovely and made the stay great value for such a conveniently located stay in the busy vibrant town of Aldeburgh Great value

Would highly recommend, and gorgeous town

Brilliant place! Manager in there, from Yorkshire, was a top bloke and asset to Adnams, did absolutely everything he could to give us a top 2 nights even though I arrived in middle of a hugely busy Friday night

I've stayed at the Cross Keys several times over the last few years and it has always been excellent. The food, the beer and the rooms are always top notch

Aldeburgh is a bit of a chore to get to by public transport but that's not the pub's fault.

My Vitamin Sea.

Room clean and cosy with a view of the sea. Warm room, I stayed in the winter. Good choice of teas and coffees. Staff attentive and helpful. Good choice at breakfast. Hot, well cooked and tasty.

This is a criticism for all hotels...toast at breakfast is never crispy, always soggy.

A really enjoyable stay.

The staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The breakfast were excellent and definitely set us up for the day. The location was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

I don’t think that anything could have been improved. I suppose that parking is an issue. Parking is always difficult in Aldeburgh.

Our stay was very relaxing, comfortable room and situated central too. look forward to another visit soon.

it was part of a pub which had a friendly atmosphere. The room was very comfortable with a sea view and refreshments. The food was really good too. shout outs to Dave and Oscar too very pleasant and great customer service.

Friendly and helpful staff really made our stay at The Cross Keys Special. The pub is oozing with history and charm and our room was cosy, warm and spotlessly clean. Excellent! Also free parking behind the Pub.

Highly recommend for service and comfort.

We were really made welcome by Emily and the team and they were so very attentive and friendly- making sure we were seated by the cosy fire for dinner and breakfast (which was excellent) The rooms were very warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. We have visited Aldeburgh many times but we have never stayed at The Cross Keys. However it will definitely be our preferred choice now for future visits.
