About this cabin rental
One bed, one bath with an open floor plan with the bathroom seperate. Full size bed with a comfy quilt. CD/DVD player. Fully Equipped Kitchen, including Microwave, Stove with Oven, Coffee Maker, Pots and Pans, and Utensils. Gas Grill included. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills!
We have 16 cabins on a total of 30 acres. We have a wide range of cabins from couples cabins up to cabins that sleep 10 guest. All of our cabins have hot tubs. Located in the heart of Hocking Hills! So many fun activites in the Hocking Hills region including rock climbing and rapelling, hiking, horseback riding, exploring Old Man's Cave, riding ATV's, petting zoos, etc. the list goes on and on. So many restaurants/bars and antique shops to choose from.

The weekend was great. But there were somethings that we noticed. The lamp and fan on bedside stand was in need of serious dusting/cleaning, the bed is very noisey as well as the heater. Also have a concern to possible mold under the linoleum in the bathroom. None of which prevents us from a future stay just some minor issues that could be updated. Thanks again!!!

Treetops was such a disappointment. It was so disappointing, we left and stayed at a local hotel. Furniture very worn- cabin could use a restoration . Grill and hot tub were not useable.
Spoke with owner and no refund options given. Do not stay here as there are so many nicer cabins in the area.

The property was very clean, but yet did not have Wi-Fi and could not turn vehicle around and the driveway. The bed was broken down to where you both rolled to the center of the bed.

We did not even end up staying the night in our cabin and drove back home 3 hours the same day. The cabin was unbearably hot as the AC did not work. There is no Wi-Fi so you only have a dvd player, which does not work either! Contacted management to fix these issues and still to this day haven’t heard back from them. Would never waste my money again with them!

Enjoyed the privacy the cabin offered and cleanliness of the property. The outside hot tub was great. The bed needs new mattress especially if I were to stay longer than one night night.

Nice location clean but had dead bees on the floor ! Sliding glass door to get on the deck to the hot tub was hard to open my wife couldn’t open it! The towels for the shower are hand towels! Bed was comfortable air works good ! Chlorine was so strong in the hot tub it burned your eyes!

There were a few issues: Sliding door is very hard to move. A/C unit does not cool. We had a few black ants to contend with. Driveway was a bit challenging. The Junkyard/Estate at the corner of Phelps and Entrance A is quite the eye sorer. But the cabin was cute and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

The cabin itself was nice and simple and the hot tub was great, but the entrance to get to the property really throws you off if you dont like scary movies. The sliding glass door did not lock nor fid the 2nd lock on the front door. Kinda creepy when you show up at dark after passing the mess at the entrance. Other than that it was a nice stay

A great way to spend a second Anniversary! Loved the hot tub! No cell service but that wasn’t a bad thing. You need to have all wheel drive! Tucked away in the back with the view and hot tub is well worth it.

Really nice stay!
The bad reviews under this cabin really had me worried. People were saying things ab the dirtiness, the water, the bed, the pillows. I think it was just something to complain about because it was great for us. The only issues we had were that I don’t think the floor was swept properly and it looked like people before us had brought a dog because there was dog hair under the bed and we kept stepping on dirt on the floor but it wasn’t bad at all. Also as we were trying to leave there were TONS of bees swarming by the front door so we had to zoom out without getting stung so i think there’s a hive somewhere under the cabin. but really nothing major, it was pretty clean and i would say to ignore the bad reviews. The hill going up to the cabin was also complained about but it wasn’t bad at all on the nights we stayed.

Just ok
The stay was just ok, the cleanliness of the place was not great. The beds sucked, we ended up leaving early because of that. Hot tub was awesome and the area was super peaceful. However getting to the property was a little scarey...the hill going up was massive and the holes in the road were deep to where we thought we would get stuck, thank God the weather was good. Also as soon as u turn into the road on the right hand side there is this sketchy looking dump with beat up cars and junk everywhere. I know that's not the fault of the property owner but it doesn't add any greatness to the property that's for sure.

Make sure you bring more pillows they have two flat pillows for you. Bring dvds they have some but if your picky bring what you like. It’s very quite.

Wishing for more.
Upon arriving to the location, I had to call and get the passcode to get into my cabin at which took 30 minutes. Once entering the cabin I always do a thorough check to make sure everything is clean and there’s nothing broke, because I don’t want to get the blame for it, there was stuff that was not cleaned up properly and it just looks like it should’ve been more pleasing to enter I should not of had to cleaned before I could relax and enjoy my vacation. Also, if it wasn’t for having a new truck we would not have been able to get in and out of the location of our cabin. The electric went off and stay of for over 12 hours. I had to call and ask when it would be back on, she said she thought it was. I would stay in the area again but not at those cabins.

Stay away from Blue Rose Cabins in Hocking Hills, Ohio!
Never received the rental agreement in my confirmation email, they blamed this on VRBO, so didn't realize the hill down to the cabin was going to require a 4x4, (and even then would be nearly impossible). So, my husband and I lugged our belongings down the muddy hill to the cabin. The cabin is furnished with the cheapest stuff they could find. The grill they must have picked up on the side of the road (yuk!). The water smelled like rotten eggs (thank goodness we brought some bottled water). The hottub was ok (maybe the only good thing) The TV was a Roku, and there was no internet, so the TV didn't work. The bed was a full size bed, which is not for two grown people, so we had a miserable night (was a foam mattress on a worn out box springs, so it squeaked and groaned with every movement) We didnt even stay the next night that we had already paid for, it was that bad. I could go on, but I think this is enough information. Next time I will read the reviews before I book any place!

The sliding glass door does not latch and the door does not quite fit the frame. This is an issue of safety and also unnecessary charges. Otherwise, the cabin is beautiful and very peaceful.

Could of been better.
It was a nice cabin, the driveway was the biggest issue. They need to address the parking situation, we had to get my car towed out that costs another $200. The towing company had been out to the same cabin 4 times the same week, So be warn if your going to go here leave Your car parked at the top of the driveway so you won’t have to pay the price as well. And they should leave a sign for everyone to know this as well.

Read the reviews and bring a positive attitude
Reading the reviews was helpful in some ways. However, it is up to the guest how positive they look at the stay. If you stay in a hotel you will walk a way to your room. It is no different here. True that the road was impassible by the cabin and we had to walk, but once in the cabin, it was very pleasant and clean. Bed was comfortable and we were prepared with room darkening curtains and extra pillows because we read the reviews. There are a few trees still hovering above the back porch/hot tub area that look a little sketchy and could come down with a strong wind or ice storm. Kitchen had all we needed to cook our meals for days with our perishables. Clean and comfy stay and with little phone service, few interruptions and quiet location, it was a great getaway from busy life. Would stay again (but I admit I would probably choose one in not such a muddy location)

Great place to stay but beware of difficult driveway
This little cabin is perfect for one or two people! The listing warned of needing a 4 wheel drive vehicle because of the difficult road/driveway, that is absolutely necessary. We were able to park at the top of the hill and walk the short distance to the cabin and all was well, but it was very very muddy. Overall a great place to stay, just beware of the road/driveway if it rains.

I hope this comes across as a real, honest review. I just want to warn people about what they are getting in to.
The best review I can give is of the cabin. Cute, as advertised, everything you would want in a quick stay. A night or so. The cabin was clean (although no towels for the hot tub and THIN bath towels). The cabin itself is cute. My only complaint is the small tv we had on full blast and had to move the tv and loveseat CLOSE together and still could not hear. On full blast! It was a one room cabin. We didn't expect it be some amazing luxurious stay. But the TV needs an update. And unless you want strong smelling water, bring at least some drinking water. And I grew up with well water. Shoo!
Our issue was the location. You drive past a really compacted, multiple trailers, TONS of crashed cars and a real junky "rural" lot. Before you turn. At least that was flat. From there we turned onto a muddy uphill trail that hasn't had gravel in 10+ years!
After we signed the agreement it said a 4x4 might be needed in winter months. That is the biggest issue I have. The people that towed our SUV up the hill, with melted to no visible snow, even told us how bad the trail was. A 4x4, with any moisture, would have got stuck like we did. Without proper drainage and gravel you will be STUCK!
The road in is SUPER rough. No gravel, TONS of mud and just poorly maintained. No drainage, no gravel, just like driving up a hill in straight mud. We made it up the hill decently in our SUV. Coming around the curve towards Treetops cabin...we had no choice but to go down. We would have never been able to reverse out.
We spent an hour and a half feeling stuck, calling 3 different towing companies that would not come out, to finally being referred to an individual that would come. He knew EXACTLY which cabin we were at. Between him and the guys that came to pull us out, we were just beyond thankful. WE WEREN'T STUCK!
After several attempts, they were able to tow us up the hill. We spent our entire 24 hours hoofing it up and down the messy, muddy hill to get up and down. We did this because 1) to make the best of the situation and 2) because we already paid.
Thank God we came only an hour plus more for this location after travelling 6 hours to be local. So if they don't improve their property, no matter the rate, it is hands down, not worth it. Pay a little more for a better kept location.
The cabin itself was not bad! I want to make that clear!
