The apartment is spacious and located in the center of Valetta. The main bus station is also close,only 10min far from the apartment.
The apartment is old-fashioned style so I recommend it only to those people who are not used only to modern,new apartments because it gives impression you are in your grandmother's house.
We didn't meet the host,but the communication was perfect.
The apartment has the smell of the old house since it is very old, situated in the center of Valetta. It also wasn't perfectly clean, since it is huge,it has three floors. It needs renovation, the furniture is very old and the stairs to the first and the second floor where the bedrooms are,might be slippery and dangerous,especially for elderly people.
During our stay we also found 2 cockroaches,in the kitchen and in the bathroom.
The balcony is too small and the view is not ideal.
The TV didn't work during our stay and it couldn't be fixed.

The place is lovely and in a convenient location. It is a characteristic town house with typical old fearures that make it a great place to stay in. The host was very accommodating with our requests. Would have been happy to pay more for the place. Will definitely stay again at the accommodation if I visit Malta again.

the location and availability of the owners
we were 5 in the place and there were not enough dishes and cutlery for everyone. Also those were broken.
sleeping on the sofa is just a bad night as it is very uncomfortable

The house is amazing, it has an old style and the location is top, close to the bus stop, shops and bars. Impeccable cleanliness and always available and friendly host. Really easy check in and check out with a lockbox. I will definitely come back to this place!

the apartment was dirty, we found some cockroaches. the bedding is also dirty and smelly. construction was underway at the door. no sound insulation.

The stairs to get to the rooms are a dangerous, above all for elderly people. There was not hot water. The kitchen was not clean (we decided not to cook there in the end). I was charged for a cleaning service, however, the house didn't get clean during our stay, but when it finished.

We booked the property very last minute on the same day we arrived. The host was very helpful with instructions on how get in and checked everything was okay throughout the stay. The house was beautiful with rustic charm as you would expect in Valletta. The location was perfect, close to everything as Valletta is fairly small. Air-conditioning units in each bedroom on every floor so was a nice temperature to sleep even in the hot August weather.
Only a minor thing easy to fix- the shower temperature control kept falling off the wall whilst trying to change the temperature, needs fixing back on properly

The location was the only real good thing of the accommodation. The rest of the accommodation was really disappointing. It is fair to say that we expected a lot from this property, because it was marketed on the Booking.com site as 'rarely available', but we were very disappointed with it.
We contacted the host in advance to say that we were arriving at 1pm (the check-in was between 1-3pm), and we arrived exactly at 1pm. When we entered the apartment, it had not yet been cleaned, so we found all the dirty towels on the floor, the kitchen and bathroom were all dirty, the beds were all undone... certainly not a very good impression. When we contacted the host at the number we were given, it took quite a while for them to reply and they told us to leave our bags there and come back at 4pm. Not really what we were expecting for the price we paid!
Quite a lot! Although from the pictures the apartment looks full of light, it is in fact extremely dark: all windows open onto an internal courtyard, and there is basically no direct light going into the lounge or the kitchen. The light fitting in the lounge was supposed to have 10 light bulbs, but only two worked. The staircase going to the first bedroom starts from the lounge, it is an original stone one, all painted and therefore quite slippery. On the top of the first set of stairs there is a door leading to a balcony (full of debris!) where we could hang the towels to dry. The first bedroom is quite spacious and the bed comfortable, but the pillows are basically non-existent. There were two other pillows in the wardrobe, but they were all dirty and we had no extra pillowcases. There was also an extra blanket in the wardrobe (which was our lifeline during the evenings). The second bedroom had the same problem of the draft from the windows (one was broken and kept together by scotch tape). There was a heated towel rail in the bathroom that did not work. There was draft in the house coming from everywhere, we tried to turn on the aircon as heating, but did not work and the host did not know how to fix it. To be honest, a place to avoid !

Great location
The place was reserved for 5 people, 2 in each of the bedrooms and 1 using the sofabed but no bed linen was provided for the sofa bed! We tried calling the contact number but there was no answer. On one of the coldest nights of the year 1 of our group was left freezing under coats due to no covers.
