Overall it was a great stay! Beautiful home. Very clean. Maria was incredibly kind and very communicative and would check-in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The location was primetime as it was right on the beach. Ines, (housekeeper) was awesome. Made us breakfast every morning and was just a gem of a human. We have absolutely zero complaints and would definitely stay there again!

House was perfect, steps from the beach! Maria, the property manager was the bomb, all her suggestions for rentals, lessons and excursions were perfect. If we needed something, she responded within minutes. She was there at check in for orientation of house. Ines, the daily maid, was awesome. Not having to worry about dishes and laundry was a game changer. The house is down the beach from city center so not as crowded down our way. Only negative about the beach is that the house is next to a public access so the crowd is random, but it had no effect while being inside the house grounds. We couldn’t tell it was there. Lisa, owner was responsive and flexible as trip changed after our original booking! Sunsets are AMAZING!

We were in Tamarindo celebrating our 10 year anniversary with a group of 11 adults and two young children, and had an amazing stay at this house! The rooms are spacious, well decorated, and had a great amount of privacy from one another for our group! The kitchen is large and well appointed for cooking, the dining areas are lovely, and we absolutely LOVED the beautiful outdoor space and pools next to the beach front. Other bonuses that we appreciated were the beach chairs, pool noodles and cooler you can use while staying. The location in Tamarindo can’t be beat! We were steps from the beautiful beach and just a short few minute walk into town too. Our group saw monkeys in the trees by the beach one morning too! It would be nice if the view of the water were better, but since it’s right next to the public beach area, I think the plants in from theta provide privacy is more important and I liked that… you still have a peekaboo view from the pool and a great view from the master suite! The service from the house manager was exceptional! She offered to book airport transfers or tours, helped arrange for the private chef to cook for our group the first night (which was AMAZING and probably the best ceviche I’ve ever had… well worth the money), and was able to provide us with a crib and high chair for our little one too. We highly recommend this rental and if coming back with a large group again to Tamarindo, we would book again in a heartbeat. Gracias!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Casada. The property is located right on the beach in a perfect location close to town. We did rent a golf cart which we believe was a good move to run to the store for things as we needed them. There were a couple of small issues while we stayed there that the staff took care of promptly for us -Thank you! We had fun getting to know Inez the house keeper, she was fantastic! There was even a family of monkeys that came through one day - pretty cool! WE will stay there again!

Room for 6 couples, clean house, great staf. Great location, walked to town via beach and street. Did the Thursday night market, snorkel sunset cruise. Try the fish market along the beach and vegetable vans in town. Great fish dinner our last night.

We had two families of 5 each. This house easily accommodated us and was in a great location. The public beach is right next door, which was a little loud one night. The house cleaner was very nice and we had a great time.

We had 11 folks and it was terriific

The property is perfect for bigger groups. We had 3 families (6 kids, 7 adults) and it felt like a private resort. Space for everyone to be together and spread out. Note that two bedrooms are accessed only from the outside, in addition to the Casita and Apartment. Even having kids in outside rooms, felt very safe due to security system and double gate to community and house. Pool was fantastic, with plenty of pool toys and beach chairs for a walk out to the front. The beach was a cute walk through arched vegetation. Next door is the public beach, but that never bothered us; no noise or safety concern. Concierge and Housekeeper were fantastic. Only disappointment was pool was cleaned 8am-10am and kids would have liked to use it earlier in the day too, however we still had lots of pool time. We look forward to returning to Villa Cascada in the future. Additionally, recommend golf carts for getting around town, especially to buy grocery. We walked many days as well; town is less than 10 min walk up the beach and felt safe day and night. We would not recommend the chef at house; although convenient to have someone cook, we were disappointed to be charged more than expected. The food truck garden is fantastic, but expect a long wait. Book the catamaran; drinks, food, paddle boards, lily pad, snorkeling at two locations, sunset! Deep sea fishing was amazing; caught Mahi Mahi and Grouper and cooked fresh back at the house (at least 3 meals worth). If working Jairo for excursions, inquire about details of trip; we hiked to hidden waterfall, and it was fantastic but would not have worked for a group who didn’t enjoy swimming to get through trail or cliff jumping, and water shoes would have been nice to have (this was our teenagers favorite activity!). Zip lining is a must! We didn’t get the right waves for surfing, and hope to try this next time.

Beautiful house and property right on the edge of Tamarindo. Stores and downtown Tamarindo a 5-10 minute walk from the property. The housekeeper, Ines, was a sweetheart and kept the house spotless. Jairo was the go-to and always came through. A small plumbing issue (leak) was taken care of expeditiously. The view of the beach is a bit obstructed at ground level but otherwise you are right there. Overall, if Tamarindo is the place for you, I’d recommend Villa Cascada!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Cascada. Our first time in Costa Rica. Location was definitely great close to everything. Great communication before and during the trip. House is just amazing and the beds were very comfortable. I would definitely enjoy returning again.

Beautiful home and property. Step out backgate and right on to the beach. Home perfectly located to all restaurants and bars. Our concierge was very helpful with all our excursions and airport transportation. Perfect for big groups.

My guests and I stayed at Villa Cascada after my wedding in Guanacaste. The property was stunning! It was spacious and private, but also located within walking distance to everything you need. The property management and on-site staff were nothing short of incredible! Everyone was polite, prompt, informative, and accommodating. Inés, the housekeeper, was amazing! We would happily stay here again if we return to the area!

Where do I begin.. The property was amazing! The staff was amazing! You could not ask for a better staff for a property! Maria, Ines & Marvin were just wonderful - you took care of everything perfectly!! I am hoping our travels in the future will bring us right back to Villa Cascada!

We were three generations staying over Christmas. The Villa was perfect for our family. The house was beautiful and the grounds were perfectly maintained with daily attention of the groundskeeper. The location was only a five minute walk to town. Maria, the property manager, was prompt in responding and very helpful. Inez, the housekeeper, was a delight. Remember to ask for her to make your breakfast several times. The cost is $35 plus food. Maria can arrange for a private catamaran for your party. It is pricey, but everyone agreed it was the highlight of the trip. Maria also arranged for a private chef for us. She is the best! This is the place to stay in Tamarindo!

Perfectly located property right on the beach, short walk to the city with plenty of restaurants and shops. Very well managed by Maria, who is very helpful with addressing all your needs and requests. House has daily housekeeping which also a big plus.

First and foremost, Maria is amazing. She was so very responsive and helpful - the logistics of everything from being picked up at the airport, to golf cart rentals (highly recommended), to confirming the chef and excursions - she was on top of EVERYTHING. The house was ideal for our family Thanksgiving holiday. Comfortable rooms/bathrooms for 7 adults, a child and a baby. We didn't even need two of the rooms. The location of the house is perfect - when we were not bopping around town on the golf carts, we were taking long walks on the beach to meals, shopping, fire shows on the beach. We will be back, no question.

6 couples came in to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and boy did we have a BLAST. The house suited us perfect and Ines, the house keeper is exceptional. I highly recommend the catamaran tour and getting golf carts for around town. We will definitely be back.

Our family of 14 enjoyed every minute! I would recommend booking a golf cart for grocery runs and making excursion trip reservations a couple weeks ahead. Maria was very helpful and quickly responded to any questions we had.

We just returned from a week at Villa Cascada. We hosted a wedding on the property for our son and daughter in-law, and it was absolutely amazing! The ceremony was held on the beach and the reception was held in the backyard of the villa. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations! I will start with the house itself. We had both sides of the family together, which was a total of 14. The layout allowed us to never feel crowded. Everyone had room to spread out and enjoy quiet, if desired, but then there was plenty of room for everyone to congregate together, inside or outside. Everything in the house was as advertised and wonderful. The outdoor living space is beautiful, roomy, and just a short walk down the path to a great beach. You can also easily walk to town on the beach or the road. I couldn't imagine a better location. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful. I looked back at saw some poor reviews of Maria. We could not have been happier with her. She personally greeted the first guests to arrive and showed them around the property. Since I missed her, she called me later to check in with me. She also called a couple times during the week to make sure all was well, and at the end of our stay to say goodbye. Before the wedding we noticed that there wasn't an iron in the house. She made sure that we had one bright and early the next morning. She was fabuluous! Inez is just plain amazing! We had her cook breakfast two mornings, and it was great. She also did all of the ironing before the wedding for us. She was at the house every day cleaning, but was never in the way. She's a great lady and a joy to have around. Jairo was great for shuttle service to and from the airport. He even had a coolder full of beer for us when he picked us up! He also arranged a private catamaran for our us and our wedding guests. I highly recommend it! I would like to point out some other local businesses and entertainers that were top notch and made our wedding so special. Most guests said it was the best wedding they have ever attended, and it was thanks to these people: Costa Catering, Pyrodanza, Darin Talbot, Joe Hrbek, Dan Carlson, Elizabeth Saenz, Jonathan Yonkers Photography, Tamarindo Massage by the Sea, Maria Roldan. I could go on and on, but I'm running out of space!
