Two (2) bedroom, one bathroom resort style Condo with new patio seating to enjoy MAGNIFICENT Ocean view. Amenities include private beach with BBQ grills near sands. The golf cart comfortably seats four adults (see picture!).
Relax in clean and comfortable condo with equipped kitchen to entertain your guests. Or just take your own GOLF CART into town of AVALON for restaurants, shopping or other fun outdoor activities like jet skiing, kayaking and horseback riding to name a few.
* Due to our HOA policy the driver is required to be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.

The view was amazing as was the facility butI was disappointed in the unit.
There were no closets or dressers (with drawers) in either bedroom. Having a Golf cart to get around was great but it was filthy and we had to clean it. We couldn’t see out the front window. For the money we paid that should have been done.
There was also no soap in the shower, nothing.

Great place to stay! A little hot and I didn’t like that I paid $80 to check in early. I thought that was just kind of slimy since the room was ready. I also asked in advance if the room would possibly be ready early since we landed at 9:30am and a possible $80 charge wasn’t mentioned. A hotel wouldn't have done that.

My overall impression of the property was that ot was well kept, in a beautiful area. The amenities were perfect and communication with management was great. I would recommend a more modern golf cart.

THE GOLF CART WAS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE UP AND DOWN THOSE HILLS. CELLULAR PHONE SERVICE -AT AND T WOULD NOT WORK WHICH PREVENTED US FOR CALLING OUT FOR TRANSPORTAION SEVICES

We stayed here for two nights for a fun getaway with friends. The place was very nice and had a beautiful view! The golf cart was a nice addition and made it easy to get around. Tip for future travelers - drop your luggage at the top of the hill by building 2, less stairs to take your luggage to the condo.

Disappointed with Patio as barbeque grill had no propane. Bird droppings all over furniture. Hot water valve in shower does not turn off. dirty windows. Other than that, it was a nice stay.

We loved the little beach for swimming and catching crabs. The pool was fabulous to have when not wanting to deal with the rocks on the beach. Volleyball net was a plus! Kitchen was great and the beds were comfy. The golf cart was wonderful to have, although it felt a little sketchy. We had an excellent stay & would do it again!
Notes: No cell service for AT&T. Couch end was broken; however, we did not do a lot of sitting while we were there.

This was our first trip to Catalina and this villa was outstanding!!! Great views, spacious, and great location. Villa is in the middle of the building so prepare yourself for the many flights of stairs… but totally worth it.

Very clean and amazing views. Took my wife and 2 daughters for my wife’s 50th birthday and we all had a great time. It was nice having a golf cart to cruise the island. Well equipped unit. Would definitely stay here again.

This property was great. Tom was very responsive to any and all questions. Our group of friends stayed here to celebrate a couple 40th birthdays and we had a blast. Look forward to visiting again.

My family and I loved our trip to Catalina. Our beautiful view from the villa at Hamilton Cove was breathtaking. The convenience of having a golf cart was priceless. We made the most of our 2 day trip renting kayaks and parasailing. We also enjoyed Descanso Beach Club.

We have stayed twice prior in Hamilton Cove and still love the location. This property however needs work and better explanation. 1. it's really not 2 bedrooms. they took 1 BR & split it in two- no dresser, no nightstand, no closets, no place to hang clothes at all- they do have some hooks but no hangers- this was our biggest upset; the bedrooms share open windows so no privacy. if you close the windows between the second room suffocates as there are no outdoor windows; 2. the golf cart is dangerous- it gives off noxious fumes for the passengers in back- do not close the cart- you will pass out. this is a huge, dangerous hazard and should not be used; steering is quite sketchy also- not stable; 3. no front door handle- it's missing; 4. Shower handle broken off also & constantly dripping water; 5. there are 6 chairs on balcony- 2 have broken bottoms so they need to be thrown out as they are unusable; 5. window is broken. 6. couldn't see out the windows as they are so filthy. Overall after staying in about 25 VRBOs over the years, this one probably one of the most disappointing. We will be back to Catalina, but will never stay in this unit. Our advice is invest some money into this unit- be upfront and let people know this is really not 2 bedrooms, but 2 dens with beds.

We had a great stay, the unit was extremely clean as others have said. This was our first time staying at Hamilton Cove and we really enjoyed the location, being a little ways away from the town was nice for us our kids really enjoyed the golf cart rides to town. The stairs were fine for us we knew there would be many and it was not a problem at all. Choosing to vacation in late July it did get warm but we made use of the fans and opened the large sliding doors to cool off the rooms. This was a really great stay for us, easy check in/check out, the unit had everything we needed and was probably the cleanest Vrbo/rental we’ve experienced. Would recommend 10/10!

Great location, amazing views everything we needed. The privacy from the patio overlooking the ocean needs to be modified with dividers. Neighbors are way to close for comfort, but it's also the way the property was built.

This complex is beautiful. Our family of 4 stayed in this unit (mom, dad, 2 teenage boys). Kitchen is well-appointed. Comfy furniture in dining and living areas. Beautiful balcony views. Downside was the two bedrooms have very small beds (full-size I think). Also the golfcart is very old and you have to smash the brake all the way down for it to slow down. Upside, owner was very communicative and responsive. Also pullout couch was comfortable.

Everything was ok. The sink faucet was broken, the golf cart was filthy, and the front door handle was broken. Otherwise, the place was large enough, the view was beautiful, access to a golf cart was nice and Veronica was helpful. Wasn’t an incredible stay, but wasn’t bad.

My husband and I stayed her with our 4-year-old for a long weekend, and it was a great experience. The views are absolutely unbeatable, and the building and location reminds me of staying on an island off the coast of Greece. It was pretty magical. I agree with the other comments that the golf cart was a bit rickety, but it got us to and from town. Overall, I highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for 5 nights. Tom and Veronica were more than accommodating. Answered calls and texts promptly. Worked with us when things went unplanned and allowed us the opportunity to focus on our family and not worry about anything else. It was a great stay.

Great views, with convenient location to the Avalon Ballroom which we visited for several days for the Jazz Tax Music Festival in Oct. 2022. Golf cart was great and allowed us the freedom to travel within the Avalon area.. Great kitchen with everything needed to cook meals instead of dining out..

Let me start by saying the property Manager Veronica was awesome and saved the day. The property was relatively well equipped. The owner needs to pay closer attention to some details. The shower knob was broken and kept falling off. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. The biggest issue we had was with the club car. If you are staying at Hamilton Cove you absolutely NEED a club car to get to town. The one that came with this rental was in need of repair. The head lights were broken, so you couldn't drive at night. There aren't any street lights going up the cove. Also there is a screw in one of the tires. Veronica saved the day and loaned us her club car, which made all the difference.

We loved every minute we spent in Catalina! The condo was clean, comfortable and had the most spectacular view! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook, there were beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and the golf cart was so much fun to drive and a necessity on the island. The bedrooms were cozy, so it is best for a smaller crew. Overall, it was perfect!
