Open and Inviting Wild Dunes Beach House
Enjoy the world-class amenities of Wild Dunes Resort from this centrally located, four bedroom, Wild Dunes home. The house sits across from the resort’s main swim, tennis, playground area, and Tom Fazio - Harbor Golf Course and is a easy walk to the beach and Grand Pavilion and Boardwalk area.
Arriving at the Charleston style house, you will enter through stairs leading up to an open air porch and then into the main house. The porch is a gathering place with a seating area, and an eating area for 6 with ceiling fans to keep you cool. Windows provide lots of natural light and gentle breezes, accentuating the airiness of the fully-equipped kitchen, dining, and living areas. All of these rooms open onto the breezy porch that overlooks a natural lagoon across the road – you never know what wildlife you will see perched on its banks! French doors open into the main living area, This is large and spacious - perfect for relaxing around the TV after a day in the sun - or better yet, just spending quality time with friends and family at the end of the day. A bedroom with a queen bed with a pillow-top mattress and full bath is off of living area of the second/main floor of this wonderful beach house. A fully equipped laundry room is off of the kitchen. Gas stove, dishwasher and Sub-Zero frig, bar seating and table for 4 complete the kitchen.
Taking the stairs to the second floor, this house has a wonderful master suite with a king bed, cathedral ceiling, private bath with a large luxurious soaking tub and private shower. The third and fourth bedrooms complete the upstairs...Each bedroom has a comfy queen bed and full private bath. Each bedroom has its own TV)
Each bedroom on the second floor opens onto the screened porch that runs the length of the house. This is the perfect gathering place for coffee in the morning, good times in the evenings, or a great place to read and play on a rainy day. Rocking chairs, outdoor sofa, a hammock and a joggling board are there to keep everyone happy! This is a favorite of everyone that comes to the house.
Wi-Fi for those that need to stay connected, TV with cable in the 3 upstairs bedrooms, DVD player and movies in the main living area, stocked bookcases, 2 pack and plays, bicycles of all sizes, beach wagon, beach chairs and boogie boards are available for your use. Theoretically sleep options could be supplemented by using couches in the living room; however, the only bathroom on the main level is tucked at the back of the main level bedroom. There are beautiful front porches spanning the full length of both living levels of the house. The home is beautifully appointed but much of the closet and cabinet storage is unavailable to guests for use. We experienced a problem with the AC and the owner was immediately very responsive helping to troubleshoot before arranging for professional assessment and repair. The owner offered exceptional and helpful communication before and during the stay. This home provided a great location for our fabulous girlfriend getaway!

Great place to stay at beach!
Check in was easy. The house was roomy beautiful and well stocked. Enjoyed the pool pass. We rented a golf cart to go back and forth to beach which made it extra fun.

Very Comfortable House
We had a very nice time at the house- it is well maintained, has everything you may need in the kitchen, and is overall very comfortable.
It is a short walk to the beach, the community pool (huge) is next block, at least two golf courses within the gated area.
Very safe and quiet.
The owner couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful
We will not hesitate to stay there again!

It is a short 30 minute drive to historic Charleston where we recommend the horse drawn carriage tour. The owner of this property definitely aims to please and succeeds. We will be back!

Spent a week with our daughters and sons. The house was perfect set up. Short walk to beach, easy access to everything needed for a wonderful vacation! Many amenities in the resort that we didn't even take advantage of but you wouldn't even have to leave the resort if you didn't want to. Kathy was excellent host, and easy to contact if needed. Would recommend to anyone seeking a quiet, family time vacation or any group. Would definitely stay here again! We all had a great time!

Their house was our house
This is a great house with all the amenities. They let us use their bicycles, grill, and sports cards. Really felt at home and relaxed as did my kids and their friends.

Great house for gathering and within walkable distance to beach and other amenities.
Great space for a birthday girls weekend. We had a great time inside and outside during our stay for a few days. It was easy to walk to the beach and around the neighborhood to other amenities. The owner had fully decorated for Christmas which made the home so festive. Will check into renting again. Note: This is a raised home so be prepared for stairs like most beach homes.

Beautiful, clean home with wonderful owners!
Our family has stayed in the house several times in the past few years and have loved it! It is spacious, comfortable, cozy and equipped with everything you need for your stay. Quick golf cart ride to the beach and close to the clubhouse in Wild Dunes. Highly recommend this house for your stay in the Charleston area!

TOP OF OUR LIST!
I love everything others have said and more! My husband and I are regular visitors to the Charleston area, but we'd never rented at IOP until a couple of years ago. The island and resort are clearly wonderful, but the icing on the cake is that this home would make a spectacular vacation all by itself if you didn't choose to do anything else but drink sweet tea and sit in a rocking chair on the upper porch! As a Florida realtor for 20 years and having seen some of the best resorts and homes the beaches have to offer, I can honestly tell you this beauty doesn't disappoint. The owners are terrific to work with and have spared no expense as they update the property from the new roof and AC down! I've stayed in few places where I sleep under a Pottery Barn comforter with the French doors thrown ensuite to the breezy sleeping porch.....ahhh, the life of a beach bum! The house is set up for large family visits and is very kid-friendly no matter how old the kid is:) Super nice furnishings, but warm and inviting. This home is never to be confused with a "rental" in any way....you'll feel like a guest in the home of some pretty amazing friends. Savor every minute of coastal South Carolina and come back often like we do!

Great stay
Perfect beach house, easy access to beach and resort has several ammenities for guests. The cul de sac was quiet and safe for kids to play. Each room had a connecting bathroom which worked out perfectly for extended family, and it was very clean and comfortable. We will rent this one again in the future!

The listing description is 100 per cent accurate. Very clean, nice furniture and has everything you need. Close to everything, quiet neighborhood, perfect for families. Owner very helpful. Suggest you rent a golf cart. We would definitely return !

Beautiful Island Home
This home is GORGEOUS! Beautifully situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to one of the most beautiful beaches on the East Coast. Each bedroom is large, comfortable, with individual bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with a bright and sunny breakfast/dining area. The large open deck is great for afternoon breezes watching the pond, and bikers and golf carts go by. The upper deck is great for sunsets! The main living room is huge with lots of great seating and a wonderful entertainment center. Can't wait to rent this beach house again.

Home in the Low country, Wild Dunes
This house is absolutely wonderful. Each bedroom has a bathroom and it is ideal for families or four couples to share. There is plenty of privacy, but also a large family room for gathering everyone together. The two porches are spacious and well appointed. The entire house is furnished beautifully and the kitchen has everything you need. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful IOP Home
We have stayed in this lovely home for the past three summers. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and a short walk or bike ride to the beach or pool. Each bedroom is very comfortable and has its own bath. The family room is spacious and accommodates large families with plenty of seating. The upper screen porch is perfect for unwinding after a day on the beach or for rocking sweet grandbabies to sleep. I can't wait to spend another week there with my family.

We Love Everything about The Beach House! We are at the Beach, close to Historic Charleston, SC, and near to Family! The house is perfect for Familes without or without kids! Having 2 porches for games, picnics, and just visiting with Family! It's also Perfect because the House Is SOO much like many Charleston Style Homes!
