We used this property for our church's 2024 Beach Retreat for our high school youth group. It was perfect for everything we needed. We were able to divide boys and girls between the two houses, went to the beach often, used the pool at all possible times, and had plenty of space to do meals and Bible studies together. Thanks for a great stay! We might just be looking to book here again in the future!

Absolutely a fantastic trip. With the two houses, there was plenty enough of room for the 14 people we had. Couldn't have planned it better. Pool parties versus rip currents (this weekend), was a no brainer. I"ve never met so many people in one group who thought they had a chance of being a cantante. geez,.. Guess it must've been the alcohol talking. smile But seriously, everyone had a great time and left thinking about plans for the next time,... hopefully the same place.

We rented both houses for a family reunion/ birthday celebration. The accommodations were great! There was plenty of space for the kids to play, and the adults to get “quiet time” if they needed a break. One of the major reasons we booked the place was the pool. While we still had a great time swimming, the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. It wasn’t horrible but it was noticeable. Someone did come by to clean on Saturday afternoon/ evening before we checked out on Sunday morning….didn’t really help us but the next guests got a good clean pool :) We also had an issue with the fan not working in the room my husband & I stayed in, in the “back house”(roadside). This was a little uncomfortable at night as the room got stuffy with the door closed. I let the property manager know and she told us a handyman would come out. But no one ever showed up. Other than these little issues, everything else was great. My family really enjoyed the place and we will definitely keep place in mind in the future.

Convenience of two beach homes with a pool was excellent. We had plenty of room for our family of 13 to spread out, play and gather for meals. A huge plus was being able to enjoy and relax at the pool after a day at the beach. Outdoor showers and bathroom were another great convenience... especially with small children. We enjoyed this Surfside Beach stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back in the future.

My sisters and I had great time on our girls trip with our daughters. The house was spacious enough for all of us and the pool made our trip so much fun! The beach is just a few blocks down, within walking distance. It was nice to sit out on the deck a look at the water. You will not be disappointed!

We came for spring break to spend time with the family and we where plenty pleased with this lodging. We enjoyed being right on the beach in a fantastic spot and the pool was a bonus. The sunrises are amazing from the front house porch, we really enjoyed them. The people at Coastal Sisters who manage the property were on the spot if you needed anything. All in all, we would stay again and enjoyed ourselves.

We arrived Dec 23rd in freezing cold temperatures, the house has some issue with frozen water lines but we’re quickly fixed by maintenance. The pool was down for a few days due to cold temperatures/heater issue but the maintenance crew worked very hard to get the pool up and running for our family so we could run the heater and get the pool heated up. The location was perfect and temperatures did get better during are stay and if you like walking down the beaches it’s beautiful and the sand is amazing. There are some nice beach bars that are in within walking distance and few pubs and restaurants as well. The house worked perfect for our families and everyone had a place to sleep. Some of the beds weren’t the most comfortable but fairy decent overall. The house was stocked well with almost everything we needed and an extra beer fridge was nice. We forgot to mention the hot tub was nice as well, and kept us all warm. The main house was nice to sit on the deck and chill out and watch the ocean and all the ships coming in and out. Overall we have no major complaints, our family enjoyed our stay even though the weather wasn’t the best!

The property was great for my family's vacation. We were siblings with our children and grandchildren and spouses. The location was perfect! Just 45 minutes from Houston down hwy 288.The beach street porch was amazing for sunrise views and cool beach breezes. Chairs and tables perfect for lounging, eating, playing games and talking. The wrap around porch with heavy gate made us feel comfotable to let the babies(1,2 &3) run around. The gate needs a new latch but so heavy they couldn't get it open😊 The beds were plentiful and comfortable. Couch beds were the standard(thin mattress). Plenty of towel and kitchen utensils. 3 fridges on property. The white one in the front house didnt really cool, but the freezer worked well. The back house was nice and comfortable. Great shower! Need to close the wall between living room and 1st bedroom. Defeats the purpose of a closed door. So much parking!!!Perfect since we all came in a different times in separate cars. Felt safe on property.
Pool was nice. Wish there was a shallow end. Please fix light by the pool. Would have felt safer in the evening. The amenities were great! Dishwasher, washer/dryer, ceiling fans. We were across the street from the beach but it was underwater until the tide went out. Great for shell hunting and fishing. The sandy beach was a block down to the right or left. Perfect!!! You can rent a golf cart to get around town if you dont want to move your car but they are NOT allowed on the beach.

We come to surfside at least once a year, and by far this property was the best in 7 years of trips. It was so relaxing and had everything we needed. The pool adds an extra bonus! We left some shark ride ons for everyone to enjoy 😉 . Thank you so much for having such a great place to rent!

Great time at a great property!
Our family of 7 adults & five children thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Surfside Oasis in June. We usually visit Galveston each summer, but tried Surfside Beach for the first time & now we’re hooked!
Family with a baby stayed in the back house, the rest of us in front. Pool was great, as was easy access to the beach.
Adults enjoyed the seating on 2nd floor balcony of front house….always something to watch happening on the water!
We have already booked our next day for next summer 😊

Excellent Home and Location
We had a great time and enjoyed the beach house right on the water! We had an outside plumbing issue but this was taken care of by the manager and the city within the hour. Great place to stay and management is wonderful!

We rented this property for our group of 30 junior high school kids for their prom weekend and it was absolutely perfect! Plus, our group of 6 chaperones loved having two houses to divide the boys and girls into two separate groups for sleeping. The deck overlooking the ocean on the front house and the deck overlooking the pool on the back house were both AMAZING! We also loved the 4 huge wooden chairs with drink holders on the deck overlooking the ocean... the view is incredible!
The pool and the hot tub located in the middle of the two houses on the property was beautiful, clean and very well-maintained. I will say that the pool is too deep for pool volleyball (or anything like that) but has a little "swim up bar" area and great seating areas both inside the pool and out! They also provided lots of stackable Adirondack chairs around the pool and there are several sturdy picnic tables in the breezeways under the houses as well as on all the decks overlooking both the ocean and the pool. We also loved that the houses had plenty of bathrooms. There's one full bath that two bedrooms share in the "back" house, 3 large full bathrooms in the "front" house plus another full bath downstairs in the back house right by the pool as well as another outdoor shower in the covered parking area under the front house for when you come off the beach. Our only complaints were that the beds in the smaller house weren't made and the sheets were simply left sitting on top of each bed. Also the kitchen in the bigger house needs more kitchen utensils (a pizza cutter was one thing we couldn't find) and the bath towels weren't in great condition. The couches in both houses were pretty worn but the appliances were all in great condition. We especially loved the state-of-the-art refrigerator in the bigger house! And loved that there was a second refrigerator for storing drinks, water and bags of ice. There's also a refrigerator in kitchen of the back house by the pool and, for a group as large as ours, having all those refrigerators were a huge plus! The countertops were all updated with granite and we all commented on the convenience of having a hole in the granite that goes straight to the trash can in the cabinet underneath in the bigger house. We also loved having two coffee makers, both a single-cup coffeemaker as well as a large pot coffeemaker, in the bigger house. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to rent this house again for our group next year!

Really a great property! The owner was wonderful and communication was great. We had an issue with the heater and he got someone out to fix it right away. Unfortunately the weather didn’t work out for us but we’re definitely gonna have to come back one summer when we know it’s gonna be nice and warm!

Covid Reboot
Braving the threat of covid and hurricane season we took this visit to the South Coast (namely Surfside, Tx). We weren't disappointed. The property was clean and the disinfectant was clearly noticeable. There was one shower that didn't drain properly but there was plenty showers for all. The pool caught my attention from the first moment. Clean, clear and sparkling. What followed was inevitable.... smile. I normally give up on the beach. But with largely blue-green waters and zero seaweed, brought a smile to my face... absolutely stunning. All in all, I pretty much left thinking we threaded the needle on this one. No hurricane.. no covid...great beach....fantastic pool...easy living. nuff said

Our family rented this beach house for our mini family reunion and had an amazing time! The pictures do not do it justice. The view in the morning from the balcony are breathtaking. We loved having the pool and the beach so close, it will be tough to ever find another rental that topped this one. We really appreciated Matt and his quick response for any little question we had. We also had a problem with not having hot water, but I called Matt and he immediately sent someone over to fix it. Thanks for making our summer vacation so memorable. We will definitely be back!
