Welcome to 'Kingswood @ Tahoe,' our mountain home nestled in the Tahoe Basin. This home is located about 1 mile north of Kings Beach in the quiet Kingswood Estates. You will find this getaway welcoming from the moment you walk through the door as this accommodation is nicely appointed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for any gathering.
The Kings Beach area is an excellent vacation spot for any traveler. From the shallow sandy beaches on the lake to the festive Northstar village up the mountain, there are many places to explore in North County.

This property is well located and has great bones. Unfortunately, it is poorly managed and that really detracted from our stay. With a little love and minor investment, it could be great. Kitchen was dirty, dishes, pots pans utencils all old/rusty/scratched/disorganized. The wifi went out, and there were no instructions on where to find the router to reset it. Both fireplaces lacked instructions, so required several text exchanges with the owner to get them operating. The fridge water filter was due for replacement and the water tasted off - better to drink from the tap. We ended up buying a frying pan, a spatula and our own dish soap since it was not provided. With some thoughtfulness this would be a great property. But we spent more of our vacation than we should have managing the deferred maintenance.
There is an nice newer kitchenette, but unfortunately it is not stocked with any dishes, etc so mostly for show. There is a billiards table, but all 6 pool ques have broken tips, so effectively, there is not a billiards table.

Great location, close to Kings Beach, supermarket all within 5 minute drive. Spacious home with 2 kitchens, 2 flat screen TVs, pool table. Cue ends sticks need repair. Kitchen well stocked with all the essentials and plenty of dishwear for 12 ppl. Frying pans are in poor condition and need replacing. Home is very clean, great grill. Owner very responsive.

Great house! Plenty of room for our entire family, consisting of 11 people. Age-specific toys for my granddaughters that they loved playing with and no tchotchkes for them to get into and damage. We spent most mornings and evenings on the front deck, sandwiched around days filled with activities in the local area (hiking, boating, golfing, shopping, etc). We had an incredible week making life-long memories and the house was perfect for our needs. We all decided that we'd stay here again when we return to Tahoe!

We had an amazing time at this house. The pictures are accurate but until you actually walk in the house you can’t see how amazing the layout is. Neighborhood / neighbors quiet and friendly. We had 4 kids ages 10 and up 4 adults and never felt cramped in. Lots of space to spread out. Easy minutes drive to Kings beach. The house is very clean! Front and back patio perfect for hanging out eating playing card games etc. Check in / check out very easy. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I had a great time at Kingswood and we really appreciated Nikki’s communication and friendliness, she even offered early check-in to help us beat holiday weekend traffic. The house was clean and well stocked for a rental. The loft room with six beds was perfect for our teenagers, right above the game room. We had a great family weekend.

We are a large family and always rent a cabin so we can spend a week together for the holidays. This has been the best cabin so far. Very spacious, clean, and a great location. The owner was easy to get ahold of and was very helpful throughout the week. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Property
We had such a wonderful stay! Plenty of room for everyone—adults and kids! The house was clean and well stocked. The location was private and quiet, while still being close to town for us to pick up pizza and coffee. This was truly a perfect property for our trip. Thank you so much!

Great location
Just be aware there is no air condition and low cars will have a hard time going into the drive way because of the steep incline, that it will scratch the bottom of your car. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay and the owner communicates well. The place provides mainly everything that you need and have two kitchen and refrigerator which is awesome.

Good set up for multiple families or a group of friends
Property is 5 min from the lake and in a nice neighborhood. House is large and a bit oddly configured but sleeps a lot of people: 2 king bedrooms (neither is a true master, not attached to a bath); 1 bedroom with 2 twins attached to a bathroom; and a loft with 3 sets of bunks upstairs. 1 bedroom downstairs with a queen bed, attached to a bathroom. The bathrooms are basic but clean and functional. The main kitchen is well equipped and it was nice having two ovens and two refrigerators. Beds were comfy. No A/C which usually isn’t an issue in Tahoe but this weekend was hot and it was 87 in the house. There are some ceiling fans and lots of sliders and windows, but no central house fan. We enjoyed our stay!

Well Situated for Multiple Families
This cabin’s location is awesome. Very convenient to Kings Beach. The cabin was large enough to fit our three families, all with young kids, comfortably. The split floor plan gave everyone plenty of space. We enjoyed coffee on the back deck each morning and wine on the front deck each evening. The kids enjoyed the toy closet and loved the bunk beds in the loft. Would definitely come back!

We had a family gathering at this cottage. Everything was great. There are few things you have to pay attention to though:Dining tables are covered with so much glance that if you put anything slightly hot on it, it will stick to the table. Our recommendation is to take a good table cover with you.Also, there were no soap at the bathrooms, so take some with you if you do wash your hands. LolTake a tea pot, or you are risking to stay without hot tea or hot chocolate. And take good filtered water with you. Top water taste disgusting and boiling it doesn’t help.Take slippers, if your fit get cold on the floor. Especially for downstairs floors.Be ware of bears! When I arrived, there was a bear at the front yard in the middle of the day. I(It was around 2 pm). It didn’t even budge when it saw me by myself in the car. However, when other family members arrived, the bear left. Took me a good 10 minutes stay in the car before others came. It was a bit scary knowing that there are wild bears roaming outside, especially since we had a child with us. Overall, no harm was done. We had a great time playing with the snow, building snowman, and sliding down the hill at the park that was literally few turns away down the road. There were lots of families at the park, but not too crowded, so our child had the time of his life playing with other kids. Plenty of the parking spaces at the park too.

Great weekend!

Welcome to Bearadise
We had a wonderful time staying here. The house is clean and extremely functional not to mention fun! Pool table was terrific for evenings after skiing and sledding, kids had so much fun. Tons of sleeping space. We had a bear visit with us for over an hour (we were NOT feeding him nor was there any food outside!!!), he didn’t want to leave even with us yelling, he just sat on a stump eating snow and licking the tree. The kids were in awe. People would be walking their dogs and didn’t seem surprised nor scared of the bear so obviously they come down a lot. We would come back and stay here for sure!

Quiet home near Kings Beach
We stayed in this home to enjoy the Lake Tahoe and Truckee area. The location is great, the house offers a lot of space and two terraces. The only thing to be aware of is the steep driveway to the garage. My van has a receiver attached to the back, and it was difficult not to touch the road when driving up the driveway.

What a great cabin. There were 10 of us sharing this cabin for a few wonderful days in Tahoe. 8 adults/2 teens. So much room we never felt cramped. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Kitchen is fully stocked and lots of room to work in. We used the kitchenette in the game room as our bar. Worked great. I think our favorite place to sit, talk, drink, play games had to be the deck off the game room. It's like sitting amongst the trees. Was my favorite spot to drink my coffee in the morning. Nikki was great to work with.

Great stay for multiple family groups. We took advantage of the BBQ, pool table, and cable tv. Both decks were great for hanging out and playing cards. Perfect location for going to the beach and close enough to Truckee that we were able to go to Donnor Lake for a day. Nikki was a great host and the house equipped with everything we needed.

THE BEST family cabin experience
My family and I travel to Tahoe every summer for a family gathering outdoor getaway and we always hope to find the best cabin to accommodate our family needs. The process of renting this cabin was made easy because Nikki (the home owner) was very communicative and flexible. She answered all our questions and concerns promptly and provided recommendations for fun family activities, such as parks, beaches and hiking trails close to the area to help us have a great experience! The cabin looked just like the pictures posted and was actually better than we expected. It was clean, spacious, and fully stocked with kitchen needs (our favorite part). We love to cook large family gourmet meals throughout the day and we had everything we needed. The best part was having 2 refrigerators to store all our food and drinks to keep it cold and fresh. Checking in and out was made convenient because we had clear written directions of what to do and a pass code to enter and leave the cabin. If you are looking for the best cabin to accommodate your family needs, you won't be dissapointed here. My family said this was THE BEST cabin we have stayed in. Thank you for sharing your home and making this experience an unforgettable one!!!
