This lovely retreat is ideally located and conveniently close to everything awesome in the OC, making easy access to all major freeways so you can get to where you are going with ease. If you are going to Disney, you are a short 12 minutes drive or UBER ride away.

This suburban tropical retreat is a pristine and well-appointed unique guest home with all the finer pleasures included. Our pet friendly retreat is a relaxed venue that is well appointed with just about everything you need to achieve a ‘high value’ Southern California experience for you and your family, furry or human or both! From spa style bathroom amenities like spa robes and complimentary slippers, to a fully stocked coffee and tea bar, to treats for your furry friends, your experience will surely delight all who stay.

Charmingly designed and eclectically decorated with discerning accommodation, complete with luxurious quality essentials not typical of even your finest hotels, this easy flow and stylistic unit fits even the most gregarious and picky of families. Your Tropical Retreat is a completely private 2nd floor flat that occupies the entire North side of a larger Southern California residence with window exposure on the North, East and West directions of the property. When you arrive, you will enter through your private gate entrance in front of your dedicated off street parking space. You will walk into a delightfully landscaped and decorated large fully fenced patio, then proceed towards your nautically themed outdoor deck and stairway which will take you to your home away from home, which is just past the bistro deck, through the French doors.

You will enjoy exclusive use of the guest retreat which consists of: two (2) well sized bedrooms and (1) full bathroom, a large separate living room which also functions as a 3rd bedroom with a high end full size futon couch and leather sofa that converts to a queen bed. The living room boasts a well-very appointed kitchenette, roomy breakfast bar with seating for 4, 60" flat screen wall mounted smart TV, leather queen sofa, full size futon and entertaining library.

There is a 600+ sq. ft. fully enclosed private patio (great for dogs to safely roam free) complete w/ a gas BBQ and quaint outdoor seating area decorated to inspire peace and a chill Southern California vibe, a separate bistro deck with viewing balcony, and dedicated parking for one guest vehicle with plenty of additional street parking. While the exclusive use areas provide total privacy for you and your family, the Guest Retreat is attached to the main residence but completely private. (See Property Composition Diagram).

You are also welcome to venture beyond your exclusive private deck and patio and enjoy the main house tropical backyard with tropical gardens, fruit trees, gas fire pit and seating, Jacuzzi/spa with a outdoor flat screen TV with a view of the fountain area. (These are non-exclusive areas that are also used by the owners and their pets but usually we stay clear of these shared use areas when we have guests) Our Furry guests (your furry family) is welcome to accompany you when you are enjoying the main backyard areas, and we encourage our furry friends (and their owners) enjoy a cocktail in the hot tub while watching their favorite shows on the outdoor flat screen TV or observing all the birds and wild life that frequent the lush property. W e are right around the corner (literally) from Yorba Park, an off leash dog park.

The enclosed patio is perfect for your furry and human family, offering security and space to play or just leisurely hang out while human mom and dad venture to dinner or shopping. Should you choose to venture beyond their exclusive areas to enjoy the benefits of the hot tub and fire pit area, or lighted gardens, they may be greeted by Maggie (lab mix) and Leo (cock-a-poo), or perhaps run into the owners tending the tropical garden. We respect the privacy of our guests and often times don't see our guests at all during their stay, but we do love to meet our honored guests and their families if the opportunity permits. Someone is almost always on site should you require any assistance during your stay in making your visit the best it can be!

Retreat Detail: Rooms all have hardwood floors, bathroom is marble and tile with granite countertop. Kitchenette countertop is granite, floor tile w/ oak eating bar. Guest home boasts crown moldings, wains coating in balcony room, 6 panel doors, 6 inch floor trim, and floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes with built in closet organizers. There is air conditioning and heat, and ceiling fans in the living room and master bedroom. The French doors have disappearing screens.

The Guest Retreat Kitchenette: Complete with a microwave, mini-refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, rice cooker, crock pot, electric burner and toaster, pots and pans, strainer, glasses, dishes and utensils. Basic kitchen supplies like salt, pepper, sugar, coffee creamer, olive oil, foil, saran wrap, plastic baggies, etc. will be ready for your enjoyment.

Guests enjoy complimentary coffee, tea and a welcome basket of snacks and some beverage surprises in the mini-fridge. Typically you will have fresh flowers and scented candles for a little extra special something in your visit. Furry guests will also receive a welcome snack pack and their own doggie dishes for use while staying with us.

Boogie Board, fins, beach chairs, chaise chairs, 2 beach coolers, event cooler, lantern, beach towels, dog towels, beach sarongs, beach umbrella and a variety of lawn games and beach toys are available for use by our guests during their stay. Also provided are board games, casino games, Roku or Apple TV, Netflix, WIFI, cable TV and an array of books. Our welcome brochure lists all our favorite stops for the best beaches, dog friendly spots, off leash places, great restaurants, best places to watch an epic sunset and other local favorites to ensure your stay is memorable.

Laundry: Guests may utilize the main house laundry facilities between 7 AM - 10 PM. Guests will have direct access to the main house garage off the enclosed patio where the laundry facilities are located. There is a large refrigerator in the garage that guests are welcome to store larger items of food and beverages as needed
