A relaxing break

Excellent location near town centre but also nice and quiet area.

The living room felt quite dark. Also there was a slight damp smell when returning to apartment after being out all day.

Wonderful, would definitely book again :)

Wonderful place to stay, with such a cosy homely feel. We was greeted with a nice little hamper, and guide book. The kitchen was a lovely size and had everything needed to cook, including a dishwasher which was really handy. The bath was huge and the ambient lighting topped it off. The beds were really comfy & clean. It was a wonderful stay and would definitely return to either this property or any other run by Hexham Holiday Homes.

The sofa is really comfy, but just a little bit low which made it difficult getting up. Also no condiments were included, I think some little sachets of sauces would be great along with the tea/coffee/hot chocolate :)

Spacious apartment close to the town, fixtures and fittings are of good standard, modern kitchen and bathroom. We extended our stay by one night

lovely and clean. had everything in you needed very clean

had trouble with hot water. couldn’t have asked for a speedier service when I rang. the owner and his son couldn’t do enough to sort out the problem. such lovely people

Very nice place lovely, we enjoyed it.

Kitchen was fully equipped. Easy walk to town through the park. Facility was lovely.

Great stay, welcome pack helpful - this property is close enough to be convenient but still quiet.

Easy to use, easy to find. Nice and modern well designed, exceptionally clean. White fluffy towels and bedding. Outside space is a bonus with an apartment. Welcome pack was very welcome and had local products in (some don't do this and it is real disappointment after a long trip)

2 keys would have been good though - my husband played golf and I went out sight seeing - but we could not both have a key. Blinds were a wee bit annoying to put up and down (Roman blinds!) - very first world problems.

Great stay in superb accommodation

immaculately presented. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lots of luxury touches great location, 5 minute walk into town centre. Decor and furniture all newly refurbished.

Saved us from Storm Arwen, so we were even more appreciative of warmth and quality furnishings.

Excellent flat. Couldn't make the key lock work on arrival but rang owner who helpfully gave instructions and we were soon in. Great price for 4 nights stay in a class location (for a flat) in Hexham town centre.

All good.

Not good and would not recommend. Not sure why it gets high reviews 🤔

Bath towels and bedding were OK and shower was powerful.

Property smelt of dampness, base of bar stools rusty, carpets didn't fit properly, very basic furnishings and not comfortable at all, needs total refubishment.No soundproofing so could hear neighbours above walking around at night and early in the morning - not peaceful at all. We booked for three nights but only stayed for two, would have only stayed for one night but had racing booked. Not sure why it gets high reviews

Nice apartment

Nice apartment, nice and clean. Conveniently located to Hexham and exploring Hadrian’s Wall.

Rooms look out straight onto street or overlooked by neighbours. Net curtains or sheer blinds would be a good addition to give privacy rather than keeping curtains closed. Blood stained mattress protector should be replaced. Upstairs neighbours a little noisy early morning. This is an older house split into an upstairs and downstairs apartment so sound spill inevitable.

Well located for town centre, clean and comfortable accommodation and well priced

No issues or dislikes - just a couple of observations: Over the bath shower with fixed glass panel - would benefit with the fixing of a grab rail to assist more mature guests climbing in and out and toilet seat needs tightening ! All good otherwise!

Location good and generally the place was comfortable.

Complete lack of privacy in the kitchen with no curtains or blinds in a room overlooked by neighbours. Basic cooking utensils eg very small chopping board that was unfit for purpose , only 2 very very blunt chopping knives and other lack of utensils. 0 coat hangers in wardrobe. No property instructions. Not the owners fault but very unprofessional from a Lettings company

We fished the Tyne at Hexham, returning tired and wet. Very comforting apartment.

Well equipped and vey clean

Lack of any live contact with the host, and sadly we had to check out after two nights of the three we had booked, but there wasn't any concession on the rate. We thought you might have met us half way at least.

Functional 2 night stop for seeing Hadrian's Wall

The rooms are pleasantly laid out and uncluttered

There was quite a bit of foot noise and conversation audible from upstairs. There was a sweet damp smell which meant clothes had to be hung out at our next stop. We could not work a towel rail and had no response when asking for help.

Very nice apartment, ideal to enjoy Hexham or the surroundings.

Great location, easy to get to from out of town, and within a few minutes walk or drive from town centre and parks. Nice quiet street and apartment, with plenty of space. Thank you.

Not always easy to find parking space near property in tight residential street.
