This was our 3rd consecutive year in this comfortable and lovely home. We plan on returning next summer. 2 minor flaws: the volume control on the upstairs remote no longer functions, and there was almost no cleaning material in the home when we arrived in late August. Just a suggestion: the tall window near the top of the stairs allows a tremendous solar load on the upstairs heat pump. It's my opinion the owners could save themselves significant utility costs by investing in some kind of a solar curtain or shade so the AC doesn't have to run so much. We love your home and we love Ocracoke. We'll be back!

We have stayed at many homes over the past years on the island. This one is very private and off the beaten path. The floor plan is wonderful for each bedroom having a bath for privacy and great open floor plan for entertaining and cooking. Lots of supplies for meals. The big tables for dining was amazing. The remote for the Vizio tv is very worn out. The small trail to the beach is great but beware of poison oak on path along with cactus. We were lucky to have amazing weather and even with that there was bunches of Sea grass washed up on the sand which created may flies. Our dog loved the water and it was so clear she could see fish and crabs and watched for hours. So many decks for relaxing and your group to have their space! Thanks to owners for all the details!

This is our 9th year coming to Ocracoke and using Ocracoke Realty to rent a house. We have already reserved this house for next summer and it will be our third time here. We like everything about this house, obviously. However, the last few times we have rented we have noticed some slight changes- not huge but enough to take notice. Last year and this year there was garbage in the bins left over that were not picked up on the scheduled Monday. While the people at Ocracoke Realty were very helpful and quick to call housekeeping, it was a little annoying that it happened twice. Secondly, housekeeping didn't drop off the sheets I ordered until I called about it. I ordered them two weeks prior. Finally, we have rented this house for two weeks instead of one these past couple of summers and in the first few years you left us as a courtesy a roll of bathroom tissue and paper towels for a one week stay. This year we only had one roll of towels for two weeks. Naturally, we always bring enough if each but if your int
