If you are looking for a quiet island beach community that offers alot to do then you've come to the right place.
This one bedroom, one bath, first floor condo offers a comfortable king size bed, Smart tv’s in both the bedroom and living room. There is a queen size sofa bed in the living room to accomodate family or guests.
The kitchen is fully stocked and a private patio is ready for a cozy afternoon cocktail after a beautiful day at the beach.
Amenities include linens, towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and a beach cart to make your trip to the beach easy and convenient.
Lido beach is a short 1 block walk from the condo and has been selected as one of the best beaches to visit in Sarasota Florida.
If you enjoy kayaking, you can rent kayaks just 2 blocks from the condo where you can kayak on your own or join a tour of the mangroves and see the beautiful Sarasota bay.
If you like biking, you can rent bikes close by as well.
For the fisherman, there are docks close by near the Mote Marine Aquarium or visit the park at the south end of the island. Fishing the jetty off of the beach is fun too.
For the golfer, there are many golf courses available for golfers of all levels of play. Most all courses offer clubs to rent for reasonable costs too.
St. Armands circle, a short and beautiful 5 minute walk away, offers upscale restaurants and shopping as well as piano bars dancing and entertainment.

I loved my Sabbatical at Chasing Sunshine! For Labor Day I could have spent a week anywhere in the Continental United States but chose Lido Key at St. Armand’s Circle for its unrivaled mixture of tropical beauty and rich history of this Ringling Brothers Island home. The mansions are breathtaking and tooling around on E-bikes is the best way to see it all! Thank you, Sue, for going out of your way to make sure that I was always alright as a lone guest. I AM coming back soon, since I reside just a half hour away! This truly was Paradise.

This was our first time staying at Chasing Sunshine on Lido Key and our first experience with VRBO as well. Our host, Sue, was very easy to work with and promptly responded to emails and texts. The check-in and check-out was a breeze. The condo itself blew us away. It was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We spent 6 nights on Lido Key and this place was truly a home away from home, literally just bring your clothes and hygiene products. Anything else you could possibly need is already there! The neighborhood is quiet and it's a very short walking distance to the beach. The beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach bag, and towels were provided by the host. The 5 min. drive to St. Armand Circle is a must visit for shopping and dining. We have already began thinking about our next trip to Lido and plan on staying here again!

I had a delightful experience at Lido Beach. The proximity of the beach was highly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they thoughtfully provide various beach essentials, such as beach caddies, coolers, and sunblock, in case visitors forget their own. The overall cleanliness of the area was commendable. The ambiance was serene and peaceful, conducive to relaxation.

Had a great stay here! Perfect location, close to beach and a short walk to St. Armand’s circle. Condo had everything we needed. I love all the little touches, especially all the hooks around the condo for cloths and towels. Loved the bedside tables with power ports as well.

Wonderful stay, Sue thought of all the amenities to make it an enjoyable stay without having to think of what to bring. Beach chairs, umbrella,cooler,travel cart! Everything was fully stocked. The walk to the beach was a short 4 minutes down your side street! Location was easy proximity to Dr. Armand's, Downtown Sarasota. Enjoyed walking to paddle boarding at Mangroves right down the road. Ebike tour at Myakka state park and eating at great restaurants within walking distance or a quick drive.

Beautiful condo in a perfect location. Very close to the beach and St Armond Circle. So much to do. Beautiful beaches that were not crowded at all the first week of October just two short blocks from the condo. Everything was absolute perfect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved staying at Chasing Sunshine! Very cute and well appointed rental that is so close to my favorite beach in Florida that we could walk. It was so great to have some beach chairs, an umbrella, towels, and cooler provided for use. The kitchen had everything we needed for making morning coffee, light meals, and snacks.
The bedroom is cozy and bathroom is nice and clean.
Sue is an excellent host and highly responsive, I would 10/10 stay at Chasing Sunshine again!

We absolutely loved staying at Sue’s place! It was clean and had everything you need to for a day at the beach including a beach cart, umbrellas, chairs, etc. The short walk to the beach was only 4 minutes which was perfect for the hot weather. St. Armand’s was also only about a 10 minute walk where we had dinner and visited some shops along the way. Sue was also very accommodating and replied back quickly when we had questions. On our last day, we had to check out (sadly) and wait for our other stay to be ready. We decided to go to the beach until then, and Sue even let us borrow an umbrella for a few hours after check out, a much appreciated gesture! Overall, we loved Lido and Sue’s place and hope to come back. 10/10 stay

Spacious living and sleeping area. Fully kitchen with everything you need. Chairs and umbrella for the beach and washing machines nearby if you need them.
The access to the beach puts you next to a resort so the crowds one would typically encounter on a public beach did not exist.

My Hubby & I loved staying at this place. This unit was clean, decor was nice and I felt comfortable here, loved the ground level. Great location. We could walk to beach, St. Armand’s Circle, kayaking & trolley stops. Condo was immaculate & comfortable. Safe area. Quiet & friendly neighborhood. What kept us from giving 5 stars: back patio is down wind from garbage area & our TV streaming accounts frequently shut down (& we had to log back in). Really deserves a 4.8. It won’t keep us from going back. If we ever visit this area again, which we plan to, we hope this location is available. Definitely recommend!

We had everything we needed for an effortlessly comfortable stay. A few of the features that I really appreciated: a fully equipped kitchen, an actual dining table and chairs to enjoy a meal, a roomy living room and bedroom (with large closet), and a back patio with privacy landscaping (which I enjoyed most with my morning coffee). Also, Sue is an excellent host. She was responsive and helpful with the questions and concerns I had before, as well as during, our stay.
We stayed at Chasing Sunshine for an extended holiday weekend, and not only was the condo quiet, but it was a quick and easy drive on and off the island. Leaving the island was only necessary because of the wedding events we were there to attend, otherwise we probably wouldn’t have used our car the entire time. St. Armand’s Circle is an easy fifteen minute walk on a paved path that is off the street in the grassy, tree-dotted median of this gorgeous neighborhood. There are so many restaurants on the circle that we did not get to try them all, but every place we ate was great.
I hope to stay at Chasing Sunshine again, and next time make it a longer visit!

Sue was great with communication and the condo was better than I anticipated. It was just a short walk from the beach and she had two chairs and an umbrella on a cart to easily take to the beach every day. I would highly recommend and I would go again.
