Full top to bottom renovation completed April 2019! We're talking HGTV-style updates - a little bit Fixer Upper, a little bit Flip or Flop. Wake & Lake LKA is truly the place you'll want to wake up and lake it up at this year!
Complete with a modern and functional kitchen, brand-new Samsung appliances and Shaker-style cabinets. Plus the kitchen opens to the great room, and with its oversized island, it'll be perfect for parties and party prep work.
And talking about the great room - it is full of great views and has easy access to the outdoors. Three sliding glass doors open to the new expansive covered porch - where you'll even find a hot tub to enjoy on those cooler nights at the lake. A 12-person dining table inside along with a 16 person outdoor dining set makes it easy to entertain friends and family alike. A comfy oversized couch makes the perfect place for watching the big-screen TV (or just the sunset).
On this level, you'll find the master bedroom with a king bed and en suite bathroom. The master bath includes a double-sink vanity, soaking tub and shower. Two more bedrooms are on the upper level, with a shared full bathroom between them. Both bedrooms have queen beds and televisions.
Downstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as another great room for watching the big-screen television, playing games and relaxing. One bedroom features two king beds plus an en suite bathroom with a double-vanity and shower/tub combination. The other bedroom is perfect for kids and teenagers with two full-over-full bunk beds. Like the bedrooms upstairs, each of these rooms has its own TV.
The laundry room is also downstairs, and there, you'll find another fridge for storing drinks and other snacks. There's also a Florida room downstairs, which is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and the calming lake views.
And that's not all - Wake & Lake has a party/play room that's above the exterior garage. If you're visiting Wake & Lake with a mixed group - one that likes to stay up late and another that goes to bed early, the party room is the perfect escape for the late-night crown. It features a full bathroom, plus a built-in bar and plenty of comfy seating and a big-screen TV.

We had 5 families stay at this beautiful property including 7 children. We had a fantastic time. House was super clean and the kitchen was the most well stocked I’ve ever seen in a rental property. It was set up perfectly for our large group to spend time together or time apart! The kids loved the beach and the shallow swimming area. The only cons I can mention would be the dishwasher needs an upgrade and the downstairs sinks and tubs were slow to drain. Can’t wait to rent this wonderful property again! Thanks Andy and Sue!

This house was absolutely perfect for our group. Susan was extremely helpful during our check in and stay. The house was beautiful and clean. It was a perfect location on the lake with a wonderful dock. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect sunsets and peaceful waters for swimming paddle boarding and kayaking and clear skies for stargazing.
Plenty of room in the house to spread out and relax and enjoy lots of activities . Wake and Lake is in a great location and is as pictured, updated and comfortable. Property manager Susan super nice and very easy to reach. We rented the pontoon boat. It was perfect for seeing the whole private side of the lake . The house has a sandy beach front we spent a lot of time there sunning in chairs and floating on the water.
We had a fantastic time and we plan to return.

We had a great time at the house, and the only complaint was that the Internet/WIFIb was really slow which impacted the house TVs. We know this is being corrected as they had just started to install Fiber optic at the end of our stay. The main floor upstairs was a bit noisy with the bedrooms on either side.... kudos to Susan, the property manager as she is a great communicator and responsive to our needs.

We enjoyed everything regarding our stay at the lake house. The parents started their day off with coffee on the pontoon boat. We had several outings to cooler coves on the lake for swimming and fishing. The paddle boards were used all day long and have sparked a new hobby! The teens and young adults enjoyed the game room above the garage. Family meals were prepared every night in the large kitchen and enjoyed at the large tables indoors and outdoors. The deck fan made sitting outside very enjoyable at dinner time. All the beds in the house were comfortable. We all slept great and woke up refreshed every morning ready to go!

Perfect weather. 60-70°. Great layout for family of 8. Decent memory foam-firm mattresses. Plenty of pillows-no extra bedroom blankets. A lot of towels. Kitchen decently stocked, although glassware could be updated.
Need to bring firewood in March.
Plenty of smart tvs. Hot tub is great! 2 terrific grills (standard and black stone griddle).

Andy was quick to respond to any questions I had. The property manager Susan was very nice willing to accommodate my family during the Christmas Holiday with the check in and out times.
We loved the house and it was just like the listing in the site. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pot and pans.
There was toilet paper and paper towels already there but we brought some just in case and left some for the Next group.
There was plenty of space for everyone.
Game room for the young adults was a plus.
The steps were a challenge to downstairs so keep that in mind if you cannot do steps.
The boat house and lake were beautiful. They had fishing poles and a jet pack for use. We did a little fishing but did not catch anything.
We loved the gas fire place and the gas grill. It rained so we did not get to use the fire pit but maybe next time.
We will definitely rent from Andy again. My family and I loved the property and will be back again when it is warm so we can enjoy the lake.

We rented this property for a family reunion. We could not have been more satisfied. The property is wonderful and everything we'd hoped for. The privacy, the view of the lake, the house itself...outstanding. We hope to stay at his property again for our next reunion.

This is a beautiful home with a lovely view of the lake, great boathouse and dock, paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, fishing gear, the works! Everyone had a wonderful time, the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked. The manager was incredibly responsive. The extra game room over the garage was enjoyed by the teenagers and could sleep another group on the sofa bed - it has its own fridge, sink and bathroom. The hot tub was lovely. The beach has a quick drop off but you can walk into the water at the boat launch if needed. The only problem was that the WiFi was very slow and unreliable - so it was almost impossible to watch any of the provided TV streaming services. But we spent most of the time doing other things so this was not a terrible problem for us.

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The house was spotlessly cleaned, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Property manager Susan and her husband, were friendly and prompt in responding to our questions, and when we ran into a problem with the internet not working, they made it a priority to get it up and running. We really enjoyed our stay thanks to a beautiful home, great location and attentiveness of the property manager.

Our family, parents, grown kids and grandkids, thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Wake and Lake. The house is very comfortable with a number of gathering spaces for everyone and comfortable bedrooms and baths for all. We especially enjoyed the private beach, playing on and in the water; floating on rings, fishing, canoeing, and paddle boarding. The fire pit was enjoyed at night. The hot tub was very relaxing.
Overall, it was our most relaxing family vacation ever.

We had a great time - easy check in/out and great communication with the property manager/owner. The house is not stocked with toiletries or many non-perishable food items (spices, etc…) but some of that may build up as we stayed in the off-season. Great yard, beautiful views of the lake. Closer to neighbors than we were expecting based on the listing but it’s so peaceful it wasn’t a big deal. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, modern house on Lake Anna with plenty of space for large groups. Make sure to bring toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags as these items weren’t provided! Also bring any extra blankets you think you might need.

We had a great time at Wake and Lake. The dock has an incredible view during the sunset, we loved the jacuzzi, and giant kitchen. Greg was super attentive to any needs we had. Overall, had a fantastic time!

We had a great time. Inside house was very nice and clean. Property was a great location sunsets were wonderful.
Exterior could use a little landscaping and dock upkeep (outdoor screen porch would have been amazing if fan worked, especially with heat in August).
Was our first time to Lake Anna and didn’t know about “Hot side vs Cool side” and boat access to cool side festivities.
Over all great time was had by all and rental was perfect for our families age ranges.

We love the house layout and the location of the property on the lake. The boat dock and beach area was great for the little kids. We loved that we had a place to tie up our own boat and dock it right there. Thank you and we will be back next year!

Not fancy but well appointed for family with young children. Lake Front is the best characteristic. Needs increased water pressure and volume and Wi-Fi capable of handling a streaming video. Air con in bunk bed room did not cool. Kind of cheap to require short term renter to supply t-paper.

Wake and lake is the perfect house for a large group. We were 6 families with kids of varying ages and there was plenty of space for everyone! The beach is perfect for little ones and the shallow/calm water made for long days swimming and floating. Kitchen is well equipped and has plenty of space for storage. 3 refrigerators came in handy with everything we brought! Game room over the garage was perfect after the littles went to bed for the adults to hang out. Best house we’ve stayed at on Lake Anna! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful property! We would love to stay there again. Boat launch was very convenient! That being said we did have a few minor issues, the hot tub would not heat after the second night, the dishwasher did not work and the TVs in the room above the garage did not work. It is worth noting we were the first renters of the year. We will certainly be back!

Not only was the house wonderful, but the amenities and grounds were an additional great benefit! Our family really enjoyed the private beach and access to the canoe, and also the fire pit and the game room above the garage were big hits. Greg, the property manager was always available and helpful! We would highly recommend this property for other families.

The house and property were great! The house had everything we needed for a friends weekend. We had a group of 14 adults and there was plenty of space. The beach, lake, and dock were great to hang out at. Hot tub was awesome and the party room above the bar was a great place for those that stayed up late to hang out. I would have liked a little more communication prior to arriving but Greg was great, once we arrived.

A very nice property, the boat launch right on the property and the dock and beach make it ideal is you bring your own boat or PWC. We had both and the whole family had a very nice time. The only thing I missed was a nice recliner. Other than that everything was very good.

We had ladies gathering the past weekend at lake Anna. The house was perfect for us and we had a blast! Greg was very responsive and helpful. The only issue we had was that we didn’t know that we had to bring toilet paper, paper towel, trash bags. We didn’t get this information anywhere so I had to run to the store for that. Heads up!!! Hopefully the manager will add this in the booking info in the future :) thanks for all the fun, lake anna!

The property is as described. It was to have a coffee pot and Keurig. Kitchen had what you needed for any cooking. Beach area was nice as was the fire pit for smores.

We had an amazing week at Wake & Lake. Greg, the house manager was fast to respond to any questions and concerns. The house was perfect for our family of 12 and spacious and clean. Our week was spent boating, fishing, swimming and enjoying the beach area. We would definitely recommend the house and return in the future!

We truely enjoyed our experience at Wake and lake. Our Premier Host was wonderful. We ran into a few issues with the house manager. But all was worked out at the end. We could have brought a tent and had a good time. Our Hosts home was beautiful. And our family had an Amazing time. We will be back Thanks to our Great Host!
