About this house rental

Lovely family beach house set just 15 minutes walk from beautiful Cape Paterson beaches and set to a relaxing rural backdrop. The house has 2 queen sized bedrooms, a third bedroom with one set of bunk beds, a spacious open plan living area with comfortable lounges and formal dining area. All bedrooms contain large built in robes, and the two queen rooms contain ceiling fans. A family sized bathroom with separate toilet and laundry (complete with washing machine) make for low maintenance and comfortable family living. Spacious landscaped native garden surrounds an outdoor deck area, with BBQ and outdoor setting (together with sun shade) for relaxed outdoor dining. The house has a 50" TV, DVD, and stereo and benefits from a split system air conditioning/heating unit, perfect to cool down after a hot day at the beach or warm up on a chilly night. Full kitchen facilities including microwave make for easy food preparation. A double garage can easily house any trailer or boat with complete security.

A perfect house for a comfortable and relaxing stay in a tranquil coastal town.

Walking distance to Cape Paterson’s patrolled family and surf beaches, in addition to native coastal walks;
Local area boasts great surfing, fishing, diving and snorkelling;

Great starting point for trips to Wilson’s Prom (for amazing walks and wildlife), and Phillip Island is just 25 mins drive away.

We stayed for 3 nights in October 2023, the place was perfect, clean and tidy, we had 3 adults. The house had everything we could ask for especially heating and cooling and electric blankets. Glenn the owner was great and very responsive and was flexible with check in and check out times. highly recommended.

This place was perfect for our young family, walking distance to the beach, playground, Cafe and tavern. Glenn was so helpful and made check in easy, even gave us some flexibility with check in and check out times which we really appreciated! The property was lovely, we will definitely be back in warmer months to make more use of the property and beach time!

Communication with the host was prompt and easy. Stayed for 2 nights with 2 adults and 3 teens. Outdoor deck with outdoor seating was great. Comfortable home with all you need to prepare meals and relax after a day out. Plenty of cooking and kitchen equipment. Quiet area. 15 minute walk to the surf beach and shops. We would stay here again.

We loved the house. It was clean and very comfortable. Our issue was the key lock... we are both in our 70’s and have mobility issues. ...getting the key was difficult. We obviously managed, but I was worried it wouldn’t be possible. Once we were in we were very happy. Loved that there were a few supplies in the cupboard... saved me a trip to supermarket when I really didn’t feel like venturing out after a long drive. So thank you.

A cosy home with everything we needed for our young family.3 bedrooms allowed us all to have enough space, without living on top of each other & a large yard area was great for the kids to play in and know that they were fenced in and not able to get out to the road. Garage was handy to store our trailer in as well as have bikes readily available without them being left out in the weather. Only thing that proved difficult, was getting in and out of the narrow driveway when reversing the car/trailer down to the garage. After a great time away, I would happily return here again. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at SeaCape House and the photos don't do the place justice! Communication with Glenn was very clear and prompt given as I booked very last minute. With 3 bedrooms, the place is well equipped, clean, very comfortable and perfect for families. It's in a great location as we can bike to the beach and only 7 mins to Wonthaggi where you can get on the Bass Coast Rail Trail and also visit the State Coal Mine. Highly recommended!

Loved it!

This little place had everything we needed. Stayed here as a single parent with two energetic boys and didn't have to worry about a thing. Darker curtains in the bedroom would have helped so the little ones weren't waking up at the crack of dawn, but apart from that the house was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Owner is super helpful and easy to deal with. Would be happy to stay here any time we were headed to the Cape.
