Gente de Élite

Habitaciones e instalaciones muy limpias, puedes unirte a actividades que organizan cada día de la semana para descubrir Port Barton o para conocer a gente del hostel. Por muy poco puedes tomar un desayuno por la mañana que incluye café, fruta, zumo, huevos en estilo que tú elijas acompañado con un pan de chapata que estaba espectacular. Pero sin duda, lo mejor de todo fue la gente que hace esto posible. Gracias a Ivan, Judit, Sergio y Yoni, que nos acogieron y fueron nuestra familia durante los días que estuvimos allí. Lo mejor de nuestra visita a Port Barton fue tener el acierto de escoger este Hostel.

Tener que despedirme de esta gente tan maravillosa.

Acogedor y muy buen ambiente mochilero

Me gustó todo!!!! El sitio súper acogedor y con muy buen ambiente. Roger un 10 como gerente, y todos sus trabajadores siempre pendiente de todo. Volveremos seguro si volvemos a Port Barton.

Good Aircon, nice social area, showers were refreshing, staff were very accommodating especially when requesting Aircon on out of their standard operating hours.

Sehr nettes Personal mit bequemen Vibe und Aktivitäten, bei welchen man mitmachen kann. Lage nicht direkt in der Action aber fußläufig ist alles erreichbar.

Good for digital nomads

Super clean, comfortable beds and air conditioned room at night. Good wifi also for those needing to work remotely. Shower is cold but was perfect in the hot humid weather.

Not very social, people kind of keeping to themselves. Also the aircon is turned off during the day meaning the dorm room smells really bad. It is also one huge room, not two smaller ones as advertised so lots of people walking in and out all day.

A Cozy Oasis

Our stay at this hostel has been a fantastic 10 days. The facilities are exceptionally comfortable, and the common area becomes vibrant during the happy hour, striking a perfect balance between tranquility and fun. The communal space is both cozy and inviting, consistently well-maintained. The owners are incredibly friendly, always ready to assist – staying here has truly been a delightful experience.

Todo! Las instalaciones limpias, decorado con buen gusto, seguro y cómodo. Repetiría 100% El personal de lo mejor, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y hacer que los días allí hayan sido especiales. Lo recomiendo muchísimo!

Hostel chill

L'espace commun est mignon, avec des grandes tables, des poufs, du faux gazon. Il y a aussi des jeux de société à dispo La propreté Le chien d'une des propriétaires Les casiers en dessous des lits sont assez larges pour ranger les affaires et il y a plein de crochets pour les serviettes

Les douches: quasiment pas de pression pour l'eau, il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude et les portes des douches complètement bancales ne se fermaient pas La climatisation était bloquée à 18°C mais ils fournissent un draps supplémentaire comme couverture, et ça allait Il faut payer 50 pesos pour louer une serviette

Excellent Hostel with great staff!

The hostel is centrally located, just off the San Vincente beach. The hostel has a good vibe. Easy to meet people. The room was quiet, the facilities are clean and the staff does a great job of keeping it so. The staff was helpful in arranging island hopping tour.

I totally recommend this place. The atmosphere is amazing

I totally recommend this place. The atmosphere is amazing. They even propose free yoga classes in the morning. The breakfast are very nice. The beds in the dorm are very comfortable. You can also get private rooms! And you can pay by card 😍

Sadly our aircon was very cold and water was dropping from it. Our bag got wet :/

Great staff, clean hostel, ac in the room at night, bed w curtain. Warm shower if u ask for it. Stayed here 8 nights so I liked it!

Would be nice if they had live music some nights or organize something more for the ppl staying there like quiz night, board game night or sth like that.

Cute and clean, but dorms too big and loud.

Really clean. You can book vans etc through hostel and pay by credit card w/o an additional fee.

The dorms is more or less a 30 bed dorm. It says 16 or 12 on hostel world but both are connected through a door and everyone from the 2nd dorm has to walk through the 1st one. So if you’re in the 1st one you have 30 people in the morning and night go in and out to go to the bathroom etc… Not enough fans in the outside area and no wind so it is too hot even to sit outside.

Estancia perfecta

Habitaciones acogedoras, cómodas y perfectamente decoradas. Durante nuestra estancia nos sentimos muy acogidas por el personal del hostel, pero sobretodo por au dueña Judit, un encanto de persona que estuvo dispuesta a explicarnos todos los planes que podiamos hacer en Port Barton. Sin duda lo recomiendo!

Very good

All was fine! It was very calm tho cause I was the only one there but I guess that is low season! Apparently there is also no yoga in low season so just so you know. If you are in Port Barton, visit Cheers Brew Cafe!

Bad experience

We paid through booking and when we arrived we were surprised to see the AC is only turned on at night, we asked if we can cancel the booking and get a refund and the owner said YES. He did not return the money and lied about “having problems with booking” we reached him over and over, he kept lying. It’s been almost a month since. Just stole the money from us:(

showers were always cold, aircons only only between the hours of 8:30pm-8:30am so it’s boiling throughout the day. rooms are crammed with people and not enough hooks for everyone.

The decor is nice.

We loved in the photos the big recreational areas but these seemed to be under construction when we visited. There was a replacement place to hang out but it was not so inviting or comfortable. The WiFi is virtually non-existent (but that’s a problem all over Port Barton) and our room was right next to the bathroom so you could hear people doing their business. The showers say they have hot water but there isn’t any and they weren’t particularly clean.

The vibe, it’s a small cozy hostel where you can easily meet new people. Lula the yoga teacher was always gathering up people to play games and for activities.

Good stay, but it can be noisy

Really nice, chill vibes! The staff was nice. The garden was nice. Very clean!

The airco is really cold. I was freezing! The room is too 'small' for that amount of people. (1 room can fit 20 people). And the next room need to walk tru the same room. What can make a lot of noise in the night from people coming back from partying or waking up. I know it's an hostel, but it would be better if the 2 rooms were completely separated. The air-conditioning was leaking, so it was dripping the whole night. Luckily they repaired it the next morning. Separate clothes hangers next to your bunkbed would be nice

Very clean with friendly staff

Far from town and no air conditioning between 8am and 8pm, meaning you are unable to sleep in or sleep through the day. The rooms are like a green house and get incredibly warm. I understand you turn it off to save energy but 8am seems very early to turn air con off. Maybe turn off 11-3 or something

Nice and clean, loved the facilities and atmosphere of the place. Really cozy!!!

No wifi or reception. Staff could be nicer, didnt smile or communicate in a positive way. Turned off AC in the day and early in the morning so got pretty hot because of many people in the same room. They also opened the sliding doors early in the morning, waking us up with loud noises.
