About this house rental

Fully self-contained Queenslander style cottage set within a 2 acre property with elevated views (as one guest said “it’s like living in the trees!).
We welcome well behaved pets (see below) at Lark Rise.Beautiful semi-rural setting and only few minute's drive from historic village of Mudgeeraba, approx 10 minutes from Robina, with its large shopping centre & approx. 20 minutes from some of the Gold Coast's best beaches and the Gold Coast theme parks.
Property has 3 bedrooms - Master with Queen sized bed, 2nd room having the option of two king singles or one large king-sized bed and 3rd room has 2 standard singles. All bed linen & towels are provided. A small "office area" with a desk in case you need it.
Wireless interconnected smoke detectors in all bedrooms and in dining area. Kitchen is well equipped if you decide to self-cater. Access to covered outside seating area is also available. There are also several restaurants within a few minute's drive.
Spacious relaxing open plan lounge and dining area plus two undercover balconies (main is 20m2) both with seating. Welcome provisions of tea, coffee and milk are provided.
A fenced paddock next to Lark Rise (appx 400m2) and fitted with appx 150mm2 / 6" x 6" hole-size wire can be used for your dog(s) to have a supervised run around in. Located in a quiet area with lots of visiting wildlife and birds.
Well behaved pets (used to living indoors) are welcome, but not on furniture. We don’t allow dogs to be left unsupervised in the paddock or for long periods of time in any area inside or outside the property.
Lark Rise was designed with your privacy in mind. Owners live in property adjacent to Lark Rise and are available if required.
Please note there is a steep driveway up to the property and a creek at the driveway entrance.
Smoking is not allowed anywhere in or around the property.

Absolutely wonderful. House was comfortable and warm. Everything we needed was at our fingertips Jackie had put a lot of thought into making sure our stay was perfect. We loved spending time on the deck and the bird life was amazing. Even the family dog was spoilt treats on our arrival and great fenced in paddock for off lead play. Thank you Jackie and Paul for making our stay special ❤️

We had a lovely stay at Lark Rise and only wish it could have been longer. Jackie was there to meet me and explain things and was available if we needed anything. Such a beautiful quiet bush setting with birds, wallabies and goats. The accomodation had everything we needed and was very comfortable with a highlight being the deck overlooking nature. Highly recommend

I absolutely loved my stay at Lark Rise. The place was so lovely and clean, the beds super comfy and the kitchen well stocked. What I loved most was sitting out on the large balcony listening to the birds, so relaxing. The paddock was fantastic for my greyhound to zoom around in. Lark Rise is also located close to shops and cafes. Jackie and Paul were fantastic hosts, going out of their way to make sure my holiday was perfect. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

We stayed at Lark Rise for 3 nights and bought our 2 beagles with us, they loved the little fenced paddock in front of the cottage and sitting on the balcony listening to the birds and wildlife. The property was well maintained and comfortable we had a very enjoyable stay

Lark Rise is super clean and is well-designed so that it felt like we had plenty of space for our extended family of five plus dog and cockatiel. We received a warm welcome from both Jackie and Paul who are both lovely. Jackie showed us around when we arrived which was very helpful, and suggested some lovely local walks and cafes which we really enjoyed. We also appreciated the special touches eg treats for us and the dog, a choice of milk. The house is well appointed with everything a family could want for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including heating. Highly recommend!

Jackie and Paul were so accommodating, especially looking out for our two dachshunds. Nothing was too much trouble. A great place, very dog friendly, paddock for the dogs to run around and all the ammenities we could need. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had a beautiful stay here at Lark rise. It was a lovely, peaceful spot to rest & sleep during a busy 5 days visiting family! My only suggestion would be a lamp in the loungeroom for a more low light solution as our kids were sleeping in the rooms adjacent & we dont shut their doors. Other then though we would definitely stay again! Thank you so much for having us :)

The property is as described, the owner lives behind the property and there to assist when and if needed, but in no way obtrusive, we enjoyed a chat over our mutual love of dogs. The property is very clean, well equiped for short or longer term stays and confirmable bed.

Our host and the birds were very welcoming, and we found everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The house is clean and airy, and provided plenty of room for our family. It was a lovely place to relax and unwind after visiting the attractions of the area. The balcony offers a lovely view of the trees and I found is the perfect spot for early morning yoga.

It sits within a beautiful site & its elevation gives a fantastic view across the valley & creek below Such a restful experience & with everything provided we could possibly need Communication was a breeze. Our early arrival easily dealt with & our first night embarrassing inability to get the oven working solved with an immediate visit to advise Thankyou!

We had a perfect experience with our stay. We had dogs and the property was just perfect for our dogs. There was an enclosed fence for our dogs to run around in. The property had absolutely everything you could need. The location was ideal for our stay. Close to everything. Our hosts Jackie and her husband were terrific and very helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
