Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay. Thankyou

Only minor issues. The sliding door is hard to open, it needs new rollers. Toilet is loose at the floor and wobbles when you sit on it. It needs to be re-fixed to the floor.

Excellent location for beach, cafe, tours. Accommodation did not meet expectations.

Excellent location for the facilities that Huskisson has to offer ( beach, tours, cafes.) I have ticked it low here in order to catch the eye of other prospective readers contemplating this apartment. The very nice beach is just across the busy road from the apartment .The property is spacious. Surfaces cleaning acceptable. Private parking . It's everything else that isn't right that made our stay extremely disappointing. No-one expects to stay in accommodation with the faults it has, with an owner that doesn't respond to the client or the booking agency used. Buyer beware.

Desperately needs a thorough deep clean and maintenance issues fixed. Tired and unkempt interior. Musty smell throughout our stay. I would suggest some issues are health and safety ones. Lounge. Grubby soft furnishings, ceiling light shade full of dead insects. Curtains do not meet in the middle, patio doors overlook the front and pavement and are very hard to slide open. ( Only way in/out.) Tatty venetian blinds. Kitchen. Large cupboard with unsightly heavy chains and padlock. Dirty, torn and ill fitting ironing board cover. All sorts of opened and duplicated bottles and packets of food in the larder. Tatty venetian blinds. Bathroom. Missing light fitting, dust covered cobwebs, several cracks in a panel of the shower screen, left over toiletries, no hand towels. No window coverings. Toilet. Missing light fitting and broken light. No window coverings, dust covered cobwebs, about 10 sheets of toilet paper left for a 6 night stay. Very loose fitting toilet bowl and seat. Positively dangerous. Bedroom. Tatty venetian blinds. No bedside tables. A drinks trolley is placed on one bedside with a table lamp. Only 2 medium size thin towels left out for us. Noisy. Poor insulation due to the age of the building. You will hear the busy road from 0600, you will hear neighbours TV all hours, you will hear upstairs running shower/bath/washing machine , you will hear neighbours coming and going in the communal entrance . The owner took my call re the light not working in the toilet, the lack of towels and toilet paper, saying it would be addressed. I rather thought that would be the next day, and I couldn't get a response from then. I note previous reviews on same/similar issues so I assume the owner is indifferent. I wish I wish I wish I had read the reviews prior to my stay. I was too focussed on the properties proximity to Husskison to read them after booking it last year.

Great location and I enjoyed my brief stay.

The location is excellent. The place is a good size for a one bedroom unit. The facilities are basic but the unit was very clean and presented as per the photos used in the advertisement.

When making my booking I overlooked the fact that the unit does not have air conditioning (although I note that a pedestal fan is provided). Given that the unit is on the ground floor, leaving windows open to ventilate the place (for example, during the night to keep the temperature at a moderate level) did raise issues of security for me. Also, the grasp on the bedroom window needs to be checked and replaced. These are the only points I mark the unit down on.

The location is perfect! The breakfast views are incomparable to anywhere we've stayed. This is our 2nd year at this apartment, and I guarantee there'll be plenty more

We didn’t. Read all the reviews before booking. To stay would have soured the entire reason for the trip. Was so look

The location was excellent.

This unit was very disappointing. So disappointing we did not stay. $300 a night for stained mats, mouldy couches, kitchen cupboards full of half bottles of sauce and other condiments, chained up cupboards and personal effects in the bedroom.

Lovely place, great location. Everything I needed for my winter beach break!

Location was wonderful. Property had everything I needed and was comfortable and tidy.

The parking space for the car seemed awkward to access, but turned out okay. Noise from other units in the block carries through the walls - especially late at night.

location

Very disappointed firstly no heating, no portable heater it was very cold in the middle of winter, so I had to go out and buy a heater. Secondly the hot water system only lasts 5min and then you need to wait 1hr to reheat. So if you are planning on staying here during winter I do not recommend this place. Also the toilet is unstable and moves needs to be looked at as it’s a hazard.

My family and i enjoyed our stay over there.

I loved the location near to the beach and the shops. The house is big to accommodate a lot of people and have all you need.

The smell of the house it seems that needs a bit more cleaning. The sofas are a bit dirty. It will do better with an air conditioner.

Great location great price

Great location! Within walking distance to everything. Beautiful views and exceptional value for money.

Calm and cosy.

There were no collection details on arrival but the host was more than happy to assist over the phone. The location was superb, we went for a fishing trip and found bait shops, fishing locations and more less than 10 minutes away. The house was comfortable and relatively clean.

There weren’t many places to eat near by that were open around late lunch time, and we have a few problems with cockroaches on the blankets stored in the fold out lounge.

We R regulars staying at husky.Would have to say that this was the best value for money

Location was extremely good.Close to shops & beach.Would stay again.

It needs a bit of maintenance.Toilet bowl is loose on the floor.The front sliding glass door needs new rollers.Doesn’t open & close smoothly.

Location was amazing, apartment was very disappointing

The location was great, it was a 2 min walk around a corner to the main street where the shops, restaurants, clubs and waterfront is.

Firstly, I accepted that the apartment was in an old block of units but when we got inside, there were stains on both lounges, the rugs, the bedding and the tv didn't work. Having our 11yr old granddaughter with us, she was not impressed to say the least. After inspecting the tv, we found that the batteries were flat so we swapped them with the remote for the dvd player and then found that none of the channels were tuned in, so hubby fixed that problem. Also note:- Ususally when you stay somewhere that promotes that they have a dvd player, they usually have a selection of dvd's for guests to watch, the were a couple of empty cases in cane baskets under the tv. So if you want to watch something, you will need to bring your own as it is not a smart tv. We did send the host a message, letting them know about the stains and the tv but had no response! Secondly, and this was the worst problem, the noise from the actual block of units where we were staying was unbearable. As there wasn't any air conditioning we had to have the windows open to let air in which also included all of the noise from people coming and going from their flats. We stayed in apartment 3, the neighbour above this unit had their tv blaring until all hours of the morning and I am not exaggerating about the extent of the noise, it was insane and it happened every night we were there. You can hear all the noise from the hotel next door, people leaving at 3am, talking and having drinks. I've never stayed anywhere like it!

Superb

We will consider booking again.

Everything was great, however just a couple of things could be better. Kitchen cold tap dripping so needed effort to turn off then two hands to turn on again. Toilet unstable and rocks and insufficient toilet paper provided (2 & bit rolls for 4 days). Could hear upstairs neighbors TV until we tapped on ceiling. Otherwise everything was great.

No heating at this property. Not even portable heater for the rooms. Couches have stains on them.

The location is fantastic.

Great stay with nice views and close to all we needed

This property was in a great location. Great views of the water from the balcony, across the road from the waterside walk and so close to main facilities of town. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a coffee from the nearby Coffee shop and enjoying the view
