Buon albergo

Ottima posizione a due passi dal mare, più piccolo di come sembra in foto ma con camere nuove e ben attrezzate con una prima aria condizionata e un bel balcone. Personale "da hotel", nel senso che ha meno interazione con i clienti rispetto alle guest house. Pulizia ok ma non impeccabile e aspettatevi di trovare qualche insetto in camera, cosa non strana visto che Hiriketiya è in mezzo a una foresta tropicale.

Its cheap, but not cheap enough to forget hygiene / wifi.

Location - thats why i picked it. Good value for money i thought from pictures.

Dirty. Bugs everywhere / wifi didnt work in the room / found bunch of hair on the floor, and the toilet stank (room 113). I left the hotel early without staying my second night unfortunately.

The location is amazing, the beds super comfy, and the staff very accommodating.

Very comfortable. Good Value for money in a good spot.

Lovely staff. The rooms were bright and spacious. Awesome location right by the beach.

The food at the restaurant down stairs wansnt great but there is plenty of good places to eat around

Expensive for what you get.

Large rooms that were clean. Effective AC and fan. Parking available (space for three cars). Balcony. Close to the beach.

It’s across the road from the beach, but you can’t see it as a restaurant has been built in front of the hotel. Litter out of the back of the hotel needs cleaning up. Very slow and erratic restaurant service. Not what I would consider a 3 star hotel. 3% surcharge for paying by card. Expensive.

No shelves in the bathroom. No space to put any personal cosmetics in the bathroom No hooks for towels.

Great location especially the view back to the jungle was amazing. The balcony was great too. The room was clean and everything worked great.

Incredible

Beautiful location, cool room. The staff made it, incredibly friendly, sorted all my safari so I could straight from there to Yala in a day and i ways to Ella. Incredible place to stay

Dangerous property, stairs unsafe. They have not improved safety since accident.

When I fell on the wet stairs (with no handrail) the manager and his wife helped me with first aid.

Overall I had a terrible experience at the property, due to the owner not doing regular maintenance and repairs on the property. I slipped on the wet stairs and fell badly cutting and grazing myself in 5 places, my lower back is still sore 3 weeks later. There is no handrail on the stairs. The tiles are slippery when wet. It was raining a lot on the day we arrived, the 1st floor walkway was flooded from poor drainage and broken down pipes. The walkway was covered with inches of water, which we had to walk through to get to our room door. When leaving we had to wade back through this huge puddle to exit via the stairs. No surprise that I slipped & fell. Communication with the owner since the incident has been really poor. They have said to me that I should have been more careful, which is so offensive and shows the level of care they have for their guests. Owner says no-one has fallen before which is quite a miracle, if true.

amazing value for money

location, staff, value for money. it was our 3rd time staying here and we will go back in 2 weeks.

as mentioned to the staff during check-out, bathrooms need a bit of attention (including thorough cleaning of showers). But overall it’s always great staying here!

I would definitely recommend this property for an affordable yet comfortable stay right on Hiri beach x

perfect location to the beach ! we loved being so close to the waves . staff were lovely and always helpful .

Great value for money on best location!

Because of the price, location and staff I give this place a 10. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They just renovated the garden and it looks super cozy. The rooms are basic and maybe not the coziest, but they are very spacious and good thing it has a fridge. Perfect for families with children. Location is 5 stars. Within one minute you are at the beach and close to a great number of nice restaurants. Sure there are more beautiful accommodations but this has everything you need and for a good price!

Proxy to the beach. The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfy. The staff was pleasant

No coffee or tea making facilities in the room nor was the kitchen open (probably because we went very early on at the start of the season)

Comfortable stay right next to Hiriketiya beach!

The hotel was able to accomodate a booking that we made pretty late at night and the room was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful 10 nights here, value for money. Excellent location great friendly helpful staff… across Road to beach, close to restaurants, bars. Will definitely stay again if we ever return

Superb

The staff was very friendly and helped a lot. They looked after us well and made sure we were all well taken care of. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the place was convenient to stay at because it was a few meters away from the beach as well.

Good location but extremely overpriced.

The location was good and their was air-conditioning. There is space for parking. Lots of room inventory available at the property so it’s good for groups.

The property was very basic and extremely overpriced. The standard room was priced at 17,000LKR and has no breakfast or any meal services and no staff service and was an extremely basic room. The most overpriced property that I have been to in my life.

Not the cleanest place we’ve been. Price per night is quite high compared to the room you get. But this seems to be the problem with 99% of the stays within Sri Lanka
