The first 2 days were great. The property is located right on the beach and had lots of room outside to relax and enjoy it. Inside the home was fine and the air conditioning worked well. On the third day (Easter Sunday), one of the shower knobs shot off, releasing an unstoppable stream of water. Property Management needed to be contacted, all water shut offs were behind locked doors, 1.5 hours later the water was shut off to the home. The release of water was so great that no other shower or faucet in the home could generate enough pressure to do more than trickle out. The Property Manager was not able to get a plumber in to fix the issue during our stay. As a "fix" the Property Manager revealed that there is an "owners suite" on the property which he could stay in over night in order to turn the water on/off so that toilets could be flushed. The issue had not been resolved before we left the next day. Overall the property is in an excellent location in Rincon and is great for big groups. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Lastly, to apologize for the water, the property manager offered a 40% discount on our last day. VRBO is currently looking into the issue.

This is a great rental, located in about as perfect spot as I can imagine for this area. Private, convenient, HUGE amount of space, and very comfortable. The deck alone is worth it. Great communication from the owner as well.

We came for 3 weeks in Rincon with a group of friends. The property has prime location directly on the highly desired sandy beach within a very short distance to Tamboo restaurant and Jakes coffee. The property has 2 distinct living areas up and downstairs but plenty of room to all gather together. Outdoor decks are spectacular...just stunning and huge. Sandy beach is rated the best beach in Rincon and it is just awesome. The host was extremely responsive and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate recommending and plan on bringing our large family back for vacation this summer. Thank you Rusty for a great stay and for offering your home to others for enjoyment.

This house's location couldn't be better with direct access to the beach and truly beautiful views from the deck and terrace. We loved the different outdoor areas, whether to read on hammocks, drink coffee while looking out at the beach and the ocean or watch the sunset. We had everything we needed to be able to prepare and enjoy family meals. It was wonderful to go for walks along Sandy Beach. It's a plus to have easy access to some of Rincon's restaurants, bars, a coffee shop and minimart within walking distance, but, to be honest, we were enjoying the house so much that we spent most of our time there. Rusty was a very attentive and helpful host and you can really see the care he takes in maintaining this wonderful villa. We would absolutely love to come back!

11 of us stayed in this villa while in Rincon to celebrate a wedding. we never wanted to leave! it was beautiful and Rusty was so helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

Great location and access to beach. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and a mini mart. We were 2 families of 4, we split up by floors and all were comfortable.

The location of this property can't be beat. It's like a treehouse on top of a rocky point overlooking beautiful Sandy Beach. The outdoor areas were a dream come true. There are several areas for enjoying the incredible views. Watching the amazing sunsets, surfers, and whales from the decks were definite highlights! The house had plenty of room for everyone. We had three families, 6 adults with 7 children. Although the inside had everything we needed, the outdoor areas were perfection for hanging out and spending time together. The property manager, Rusty, was the best! He was very attentive. He made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. After not being able to vacation for two years, this was a dream come true! We can't wait to go back to Coralina Del Mar!

I've been coming to Rincon for the last 9 years and have always found myself staying in Puntas. From the first year in Rincon, we saw Coralina del Mar and knew that one day we would have to stay there. Over the years we talked about how incredible it must be and what it would be like, and finally, this year, the dream came true. You cannot put into words how incredible this property is. Fromt he spacious accommodations inside, to the sprawling space for relaxing and activities outside this house is everything we dreamed of and more. The managers of the property could not have been more accommodating either. From the day of travel, through, the stay, and after the departure; they were committed to ensuring we had an unforgettable trip. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location and the people who allowed us to stay there. This house should be on everyone's bucket list. It is the essence of perfection in Puntas.

We recently had our family out to this property to escape the cold winters of Virginia. The proximity to the beach and outdoor living spaces around this house are fantastic. Frankly, I'm not sure you could ask for better ocean views from the upper deck sitting area. That part of the house was amazing. A couple issues did arise on our stay, but as others have mentioned, life in the tropics can be tough. The salty air has certainly taken a toll on most of the exposed metal pieces (think door knobs and such) on the house, and they could use replacing. Our first night in the house, we could not get the oven to work and ultimately pivoted to different dinner plans. The property manager was able to come out the next morning and fix the issue. The next couple days were great and without issue. Unfortunately, on our last night at the property, the power went out and never came back on. All of the neighbors continued to have power via their backup generators. It would be really nice if this place had one as well, as it seems to be a regular issue on the island via an unstable power grid. All in all, we had fun and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Nothing in life is perfect, but this place certainly checked most boxes:)

We gathered two families at Coralina Del Mar for Christmas and had a fantastic time. The house is in what we think is the best location for enjoying Sandy Beach/Puntas, occupying the corner of the beach and offering amazing views from the expansive deck on top of the rock that defines the reef at the Puntas surf break. Our party included: experienced surfers who loved staying (literally) on top of their favorite spot and easy access to all the other breaks at Rincon, children who are learning and enjoyed the family friendliness and sand bottom of Sandy beach, and kids of all ages who loved the house and it’s comfortable and cool spaces. When not on the beach, the shade of the patio and pool area were refreshing and fun and the kids and adults loved the selection of books throughout the house. Being two families, we also appreciated the ability to spread out and have two kitchens and living areas when people needed space. Rusty and Sebastian were great hosts and very responsive to our questions. We would definitely come back. For those who know Rincon and/or are seeking to have many options for fun and relaxation at your doorstep (without having to drive or transit), this is hard to beat.

This home ruined our family Reunion!! Don’t get me wrong it has so much potential! But what the description does not say is that this part of the city of Rincon only has power about 30% of the time! Most homes in the area have large backup generators so when the power goes out the generator flips on. This home does not. Rusty the owner had recently installed a tesla power wall. But unfortunately one power wall does not do enough and most of the time the Powerwall did not even work! We were supposed to be there for an entire week but after three days our group of 16 could not handle it anymore!! Of those three days we had air-conditioning for one night. We had spent about $1000 on food for our group which all had gone bad in the refrigerator since I couldn’t keep power. Most of our time over those first three days were spent trying to fix issues with the power or Internet. They last night there most of us slept out on the deck or in our cars because it was so hot! We had rented the house for my parents 50th wedding anniversary and arranged a chef to come in and cook a very nice dinner. That obviously had to be canceled since there was no power! This property has so much potential, but if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation stay away!! This home is not cheap! You cannot justify the cost to camp outside on the deck!! You are not paying to camp!!! If Rusty can figure out the power wall situation or get a large generator maybe it’s worth it! But until then it is not inhabitable!! Don’t wait to find all this out once you arrive like we did! Rusty said it was in the contract. But all it says in the contract is that the home does not have a generator. Nothing about the fact that this part of the city does not have power most of the time!! On the description it says “all you need is food and clothes” that is far from the truth!! All our food went bad ! And Besides the electricity, you will also need to purchase your own beach towels and beach equipment as he does not provide or leave the equipment left by previous guests! It was a disaster of a trip and cost us so much more money as we had to find a new place to stay for 16 last min!

From beginning to end amazing experience! Rusty was beyond accommodating to all our needs! Spectacular views! Perfect for a family trip as well a quick getaway! Thank you rusty for everything! Looking forward to our next stay!

The property is in just the perfect spot. It has a beautiful view and the birds sing for you every morning. The gazebo is super spacious and the main bedroom super confy.

If you have a big party this is the place to stay. The most beautiful location with space for everyone. Breathtaking view.

The entire family had a great time in the amazing house. We had issues with the cleanliness of the house. All the windows were very dirty and behind and under the beds full of dust and insects. That did not stop the family of having a great time. We call Rusty Torres the administrator because the pool filter was not on. By the second day, the pool was dirty and the door did not want to close. Rusty the next day responded to my text and helped fix all the problems.

I came with a big group of friends and we had a blast. Everyone was very comfortable. Perfect location on the beach and a short walk from restaurants/bars. Would love to come back again.

Perfect home for a large group or big family. It is spacious and clean. Our grandson really enjoyed the small pool and playing outside under the huge cabana. Rusty was responsive to our questions and needs when we reached out to him. We experienced a power outage our last night, but the whole neighborhood was out of power. It had nothing to do with the quality of the home. Our kids enjoyed the bar and restaurant just a hundred yards or so down the beach. We were able to rent surfboards nearby and the house was in a convenient location for day trips to the interior and south western coast of the island.

He was always available to make us feel home!

I can't say enough about how awesome this house is. We had the double doors open on the sides of the house most of the time and the ocean air and breeze kept us cool. The deck view over the little rock cliff was amazing especially for sunset. The deck has multiple spots that have beautiful views including upper and lower areas that overlook the beach. It is the best house on Sandy Beach, a great little neighborhood on the outskirts of RIncon. Walking distance to Tamboo and the best burger in town @ the Big Kahuna, as well as Jake's Java with excellent coffee and smoothies right at the top of our driveway. Our 3 families took the entire house and it worked out perfectly. Each family got 2 rooms. You can't get between the upstairs and downstairs without going outside, but that was not a big deal and really makes sense if the 3 areas are rented by different parties. The palapa was great to get out of the sun with plenty of seating. The house truly felt like our own private resort. Upon arrival we had a few minor maintenance issues and Rusty was super helpful and resolved them right away. He put us in touch with a private chef, Loraine Arroyo, for one of our nights which was a real treat. Thank you for sharing this amazing place. We hope to return.

We've been back just about a week from our vacation in Rincon, and I miss it so! This location was everything we had dreamed and more. We went on vacation to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and brought two other couples along with us. Carolina del Mar was the perfect spot for us. There are three well-equipped kitchens, and you can close a large door in the upstairs area to basically create three separate apartments within the house. This was awesome each morning, as we all leisurely got up and going when we wanted to and had our own space to make breakfast/coffee in before everyone connected on the AMAZING deck overlooking the ocean. We definitely spent the majority of our time here..... awesome sunsets over Desecheo island were a treat with cocktail in hand. The palapa made and awesome gathering area as well where we played cards in the evening. I would say the majority of our week long vacation was spent on the property in the outdoor areas. Rusty was great when we needed him for a couple of things, very responsive and yet respected our privacy as well. Even though we rented a car, we hardly drove it. Tamboo bar on the beach was 200 yards away, Barefoot Yoga was a quick walk down the beach, we ate and drank at Pool Bar Sushi and Kahuna Burger regularly, and visited Jake at Jake's Java every morning.... fantastic coffee and morning smoothies! Literally five minute walk everywhere, yet we felt like we were totally secluded in our private paradise. I would highly recommend Carolina del Mar for your vacation getaway!

We had a wonderful holiday trip to Rincon! We had family and friends ranging in ages 14 to 55! There was something everyone! Location! Location! Location! We enjoyed morning coffee on the spacious deck overlooking the water, music nights under the palapa & walks on the beach out our door. Restaurants and smoothie/latte stand so close! Rusty was a responsive and excellent host. I hope we can do a repeat stay:) Thank you, Rusty!

House was unreal ! Slept 16 easy with plenty of room. Great views. Very clean. Had our wedding at the house. About 45 people including a live band. House was plenty big and comfortable. Owner was over the top helpful. Would recommend this property. We are still talking about it back home and would love to do it again. Thanks Rusty!

My husband and I met while staying at Coralina Del Mar on a group trip a few years ago, and recently stayed there again for our wedding. The location is absolutely amazing, as the house sits right on Sandy Beach. There is a large outdoor gazebo with hammocks and couches, right next to its small but fun pool. The large upper deck area has sunbeds for relaxing in the sun and overlooking the beautiful view. The house interior is large, spacious and comfortable with all of the essentials. There are a few fun bars and restaurants within walking distance, and a short drive to downtown Rincon. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at Coralina Del Mar. It will always have a special place in my heart, and my husband and I will definitely stay there again.

Coralina del Mar has one of the most beautiful locations of any house we have ever rented. The main living area has an adjacent covered, outdoor area with hammocks and outdoor seating for time off of the beach. There are a series of stairs and wooden walkways that lead to a huge deck set atop a small cliff that overlooks the ocean. The breeze and ocean views are amazing no matter what time of day. Whether you eat breakfast while watching the surfers catch the next wave or toast cocktails at sunset, the upper deck is the best! Then, there are stairs that lead down from the house and patio area to the beach. You can be looking down on the waves one minute, and in the waves the next. For this reason alone, Coraline del Mar is fantastic! In addition to the house being beautifully situated right on the ocean, the area around the house also has a great vibe. There are several restaurants/bars, a coffee shop, mini market, yoga studio, and t-shirt shop right down the road from the house. All of these establishments are interspersed with tropical stands of trees and offer just enough entertainment without taking away from the beauty of the beach. The beach is almost completely unspoiled by development and lined with picture perfect palm trees. In regards to the water, the waves are for experienced surfers. The coral bottom and frequency of decent sized waves make it a difficult place for novice beachgoers to enjoy wading in the ocean. There is another beach (called pools beach) a two minute walk up the street that offers calmer waters. There is also another beach (called Steps) that is 2 miles up the road and offers snorkeling and calmer waters for wading. The town of Rincon is about 4 miles away with a cool center area that has a market on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings. The main grocery store (the Econo), a meat market (called The Meat Market with local meat and seafood), fresh farm stand, and other typical amenities are there. For our group of four families with 18 people, Coraline del Mar offered plenty of space and the perfect location for our time in Puerto Rico. Rusty, the owner, was also very responsive and we would highly recommend this property.

Place is absolutely beautiful. Very helpful property manager when power went out in Rincon. Plenty of space and wonderful being able to step onto the beach. Definitely want to return!

This is the third time we have stayed at Coralina Del Mar.... we can't imagine staying anywhere else in Rincon! it's perfectly situated on the edge of Sandy Beach, within walking distance to several great bars, restaurants, shops, etc. The outdoor space is the best...plenty of room for everyone in our large group to relax...whether you want to nap in the hammock under the shaded pavilion, or soak in the sun on a lounge chair on the upper terrace, or sit on the upper deck and watch the surf or look for whales or just take in the spectacular view. The indoor space is well appointed...the kitchens are supplied with just about anything you'd need...the beds are comfy and there were plenty of towels provided. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here...we'll be back again next year, I'm sure!
