Highly recommended if you drive by or decide to hike around.

The owner was wonderfull, welcoming, helpful, caring and very knowledgeable about anything in Corsica. Our diner was very nice and we can’t recommend the home made Myrtle strongly enough. The location is spectacular surrounded by the highest mountain in Corsica.

The Jacuzzi is not available for regular guest for the rooms. They create other expectations! Only one day for arrival is was announced that no privat consumptions were allowed. So no real b&b, but more hotel-like. Every drink and consumption had to be ordered by them.

Superb

The host was extremely accommodating and super sweet. The dinner experience was wonderful and the home cooked meal was really delicious. The place was super clean and the outdoor area was lovely. It was the perfect place to end our GR 20 trip.

Being American, we really missed having a holder for the shower head.

Wonderful view from authentic gîte - yet slightly uncomfortable bed

Lovely place with an amazing mountain view, easy to reach by train (though you have to walk alongside a pretty busy road with fast traffic for several hundred meters), friendly, very hospitable staff and clean room. We enjoyed our stay!

The breakfast was a little meager, we would've liked a bit more filling. The bed was quite hard, and although I'm generally into that, I'd have preferred a bit more comfortable mattress.

Convenient to stay half-way on the GR20 hike (few kms off Valenzana).

Nice and clean room. Good diner (extra charge, but it is worth).

The flies coming in from the garden were a bit annoying. No other shops / restaurants around.

good value for money

Nice place on budget (considering prices on Corsica) along the road to Ajaccio. Rooms were clean, bathroom was clean and equipped, the house looks quite cosy. There's relatively fast wi-fi and private parking available.

There is no airco in the room, there are a lot of rules about bringing your own food and drinks (guess they want to keep the restaurant running).

A lovely stop for our 2 family Corsican road trip. We felt very welcomed by our hostess.

An amazing, homemade breakfast on a lovely patio. Hostess was kind and patient with our terrible French and late arrival. Very clean and comfortable.

Comfortable, but not a mountaineering culture..

Nice and quiet place. Beautiful views to the mountains.

In the booking they offer the room with "microwave", "minibar", "fridge", and "washing machine". Actually, they have no microwave, minibar or fridge available, and they allow you to put a washing machine for...9€! I don't think that putting this price matches with mountaineering culture at all. Besides, they doesn't allow you to eat you own food in the "cantina" place, and apparently -written in posters- is also forbiden to eat your meals in the terrace (???). We didn't understand that. Also, note that booking inform that the dinner is available for 15€, and in fact is 22€. They only speak french. Wifi? They didn't facilitate us nothing. Conclusion: ok for one night, but we didn't feel very invited. It is Corsica and is a touristic destination, but we can assure that in other zones of Europe, this price would not be worth for what is offered.

Lovely family run hiking lodge in the mountains. Joanna the landlady was ever helpful, cheerful and genuinely interested in her guests, my very limited French notwithstanding. Good simple homemade meals served too. Would certainly recommend and come again 😊

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

Lo único bueno del lugar es la ubicación, en mitad de las montañas.

SHE KICKED US OUT OF THE PLACE!! We arrived around 22:30, and after showing us around, we decided to eat (we bought some food on the way to not make them wait for our arrival). As in every "camping place" there is an area for cooking and eating, well she just explained where our beds and toilet were, but nothing related to that. There was a big table outside (aparently for common use) so we sat down there and start eating our food without using anything from them, quiet and not making anything dirty or messy. 2 minutes after this, she comes out and start telling me with an angry voice that I can't eat there, it's inappropriate. I don't understand anything of this and seeing how angry she was I left the place and ate outside on the road. Apart from this awkward situation, I was also not happy about how the place works. It doesn't say in any place that you should bring your own sleeping bags to be able to sleep on the beds. She tells you this once you have made the reservation. So please, make this clear in your description!! And last thing, it is really uncomfortable to use the toilet and the shower if the weather it's bad, because there is no roof and if it's raining you are getting get. Not really useful if you want to get a shower and at the same time rain is falling on your clothes, towels...
