Beautiful home, for a friends or family gathering! Took us two hours to get to the airport in Boston… Lots of traffic to deal with. If you want a quiet seaside retreat, this is great! Lovely shops and restaurants in the area.

This property is of excellent quality in excellent location, and I cannot say enough about our positive stay. We (myself, my husband, and friends) stayed here for a week to attend a 50th Hingham High School Reunion. The third-floor oceanfront bedroom is a slice of heaven, and the 2nd floor master is the whole pie. The other bedrooms were fine. Even the bed in the loft room is larger than seen in the photo, however you must be a sound sleeper. The house is stocked - there is nothing you will ever need. Communication with owners was quick and they handle the few early glitches immediately!

Practically Perfect
I was looking for something to celebrate my 50th birthday with close friends and my 2 teenage daughters, that was on the water with lots of space and great views... I found it! This was the best! It was clean and comfortable with all the amenities we needed! Lots of space so we didn't feel like we were packed in... And the views! Wow.
Didn't have to buy any kitchen basics which was nice. Definitely not a "sandy" beach but we still enjoyed it! Even did some paddle boarding. Super convenient to shops and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend!!

Amazing Home
The house is right on the water. It's amazing! At high tide and sitting on the porch or in the living room you feel like you are on the water. The views from every room are of the ocean! The large kitchen and dining area is great for large groups. Our youngest group member was 18 months and the oldest 72. We had 3 families stay here. We enjoyed making smores a couple nights at the fire pit. While there are plenty of restaurants to dine out at we found we preferred cooking at the home and enjoying the ocean front view with our meals. The hosts are responsive and available if you need anything. We had a great stay and hope to visit again!

Brilliant house and location
We loved this house and the location. The house had spectacular rooms with beautiful views. Also we had a multi generational group and the living spaces easily divided into sub areas for each generation and then bigger areas for whole group activities. The kids loved the safe access to the rocks and beach. Nearby Scituate had a great selection of restaurants and shops. You could even get into Boston by public transit.

Holiday stay 2021
Had a wonderful time at this property even though part of our group was unable to make it. We had a great time relaxing in the house- taking long walks- just spending time together. It was a wonderful house to just relax in- tons of spaces for everyone to be together or apart as well as spaces to watch movies together and even a perfect puzzle table. We cooked at home nearly the whole time and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need.
Even though it wasn’t a typical “ beach” vacation- being so close to the water was amazing.
Would recommend this house without issue- hope to be back in the future!

A wonderful weekend away!
The home was spectacular, top notch everything and amazing views from each room. We couldn't have asked for a better home to host our weekend away. No need to ever leave the house, but quaint town and plenty to explore if you do. And the owners are extremely responsive and accommodating. Thank you Paul and Tamatha for a perfect getaway.

Family vacation
The home was better than pictured! The main room is much larger than the pictures show. The same is true of the double bed bedroom, it was definitely smaller than the 2 big bedrooms but surprisingly bigger than expected. The deck was the best space of all; plenty of space to sit and enjoy the view and sound of the waves.
We never had an issue but sent owner a text and they quickly responded. The "owners manual" was packed with information. We did have to figure out the WIFI pass code was in lower case (not Upper as shown) but not a big deal. We also could not find the outside speaker to play music. (again, not a big deal as you could hear it from the dinning room while your at the grill). The instructions on the hurricane doors are clear (being from the Midwest, it did take some getting used to). The home was extremely clean and well taken care of.
Only problem was that we had to leave. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing Home located directly on the Ocean
The pictures accurately show how beautiful this home is. Just a great place to stay for a family vacation. My wife and I stayed here with our two adult children and their partners. We had plenty of room to both get together to watch TV and play games as well as to find some individual space for alone time. Huge house. We did fight over who would get the the Master Bedroom, which is one of the nicest I have seen in a vacation rental (or anywhere), but the other bedrooms were really nice as well. The Ocean location is perfect....at high tide the water is nearly under the house-length deck along the ocean side of the house. Egypt Beach is adjacent to the property. Okay beach (definitely bring your water shoes) but there is really no reason to get off of the deck of the house. We saw seals directly in front of the house nearly every day. Two additional things stand out. One, I have never been in a better stocked home...including our own. It seemed like they had just left for for a week and just let us stay while they were gone. Even the outdoor shower had large full bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and two types of skin moisturizer. (Of course the four full bathroom were equally well stocked.) Kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys...the list goes on and on and on. ( I saw a vacation listing last week that you even had to bring your own linens and towels..hate that) The second thing that stood out was how well decorated the home is. Just really creative touches EVERYWHERE to bring "coastal décor/beach house vibe" to this home. The owners did a great job decorating.
Sadly we will not book this house again. Coincidentally we will be moving to a home later this year less than a half mile away. Just a bit too close to spend our next summer vacation, though we really did consider it.
I highly recommend this home for your summer vacation.

Incredible views and Great hospitality
This home offered the perfect setting for our family to gather in celebration of my son's graduation. The views were breath-taking, the decks were inviting overlooking the ocean, the kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were extremely comfortable and the hospitality was amazing. Tamatha and Paul were great and responded quickly to our questions. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

A wonderful week at the sea
This was just the most terrific place. We convened with grandparents with whom we had not spent time in over a year. The house was perfect....enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Lots of space to play games, watch TV, listen to music. The ocean views were breath taking. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful location and views!
House is in a beautiful location, with wonderful views, right on the water. We loved the porch where you could sit on the porch swing or couch and watch the waves crash just in front of the house. The rooms and beds were comfortable. The common areas were comfortable and set up for a nice relaxing time with family. No real private beach area on this property, as it was all large boulders. But, you could walk the beach ( mostly pebbles and rocks). w e enjoyed exploring between the large rocks, finding rock crabs, mussels, snails and other tiny ocean life. If you wanted to sit, swim or take your shoes off, there were better beaches you could drive to. The town and surrounding areas have places to eat, etc. Noticed that some of the furnishings were a bit worn. It is not a place for you, if you expected A+ cleanliness. Overall, we loved our time there!

The BEST Beach House!
Just returned from a fabulous stay at this home. We were celebrating my daughter's college graduation. It was a wonderful time for my daughters and I to connect, relax, and unwind. We spent hours on the deck, both on the porch swing, the rockers and the deck couch. Be warned, you lay down on that deck couch and listen to the ocean waves with the breeze, you will sleep like you never have before. So refreshing. The house is stunning. Immaculate and decorated so perfectly with beach touches. The large dinning room table was perfect for spreading out our meals and lingering while we talked. Check out the photo album with pictures of the house renovations years ago....very cool. Tamantha is wonderful to work with. Quick to respond and so hospitable. The home has paddle boards and a kayak (and many beach chairs and toys...everything you could ever need!) and we really enjoyed those. Fantastic stay in a beautiful home with terrific hosts! Can't wait to go back!

Incredible views
We really enjoyed our long weekend at this property. It was just as described in the listing. The views from every room were breath-taking. The beach is not that great for walking due to the rocks, but I would stay there again and again without hesitation. Expect to sleep well with the sound of the waves crashing. A bonus was that Tamatha was great to work with.

Scituate's 73 Seaside, 02066. This is it, all you have to do is show up. . . the rest is easy!
This place has it all. It's the best rental house in all of Scituate. 73 Seaside, 02066! Walk in and crack open an owner's complimentary bottle of wine. Take the bottle to the front wrapped deck and sit on the two-seated swing with your wife and click glasses while the kids (who drove you crazy for 8 hours in the car) hit the waves with boogie boards that the owners provide. The surround sound system is terrific and is wired to the outside deck area and the kitchen and dining spaces. If you like to cook – the kitchen and dining areas are spectacular. There is a kayak you can use to cruise for miles of seashore. Also—fishing rods, floats and kites for the kids, gimp, games and a relaxing fire-pit where kids make smores and adults enjoy their beverages. And best of all, make sure you go to the Scituate Town Pier and buy lobsters fresh off the boats. Mullaney’s Seafood Market was closed so go down to the pier and haggle with the lobstermen, middlemen and dock bosses for a dozen live lobsters. It’s a blast negotiating the deals!
If you are looking for a place where all you must do is show up, this is it! Don't sweat the small stuff, the owners provide everything—bed linens, shower towels, beach towels, toilet paper, paper towels, utensils, dishes, trash bags . . . wide open floor plan.

This was our second year staying at this property and it was just as lovely and enjoyable as our first stay. The house and location have everything you could want for a fabulous, comfortable seaside vacation. The owners are exceptionally kind and gracious, and were always available to answer questions. Amazing family vacation
We absolutely loved our time in Scituate. This house is gorgeous. The living space is big enough for a large family to gather together and spend some quality time. The shed was full of paddle boards, life jackets, beach chairs etc so we didn't have to waste packing space bringing our own. We spent one night out by the fire pit making s'mores and telling ghost stories. That was an awesome memory. It's close enough that you can visit places like Plymouth, Salem, Boston etc. without having to spend too much extra time in the car. There is enough to do in Scituate though that you don't need to leave the town. We really enjoyed Mill Wharf restaurant. There are plenty of stores near by and the kitchen is big, beautiful and set up for plenty of people to be around to cook family dinner. The music system was awesome! We had music on daily and enjoyed in inside as well as on the deck while watching the sunset. If there was a negative (and there really wasn't) it was the bedrooms. The master is GORGEOUS!!! The other rooms were big enough, but the beds were smaller than we hoped. The queen seemed more like a double or full size and the doubles seemed more like twin beds. There was a blow up mattress though and couches and honestly how much time are you spending sleeping on vacation anyway? You will spend a lot of time outside on this trip enjoying the views and the beach and the breeze, but bring bug spray. The mosquitoes are abundant and the flies bite. Bug spray helped a lot. Lastly, bring beach shoes. The beach is rocky and you won't want to walk on it with bare feet. The water was brisk, but after sitting in the sun it felt wonderful and refreshing. We would definitely come back to this fantastic vacation spot. It was worth every penny and every mile traveled. Thank you, Tamatha!!!

Beautiful and well-equipped home in gorgeous location!
We rented this beautiful home for a chilly Thanksgiving family reunion. The house is gorgeous with amazing amenities and furnishings. It has ample seating, dishes, cutlery, glasses, for a large family gathering. When it is high tide you feel like you are on the bow of a ship! From the house you get magnificent sunrise and sunset views. You can do some amazing bird-watching too. The owners were very responsive to our questions in advance of our visit. The beds are all comfortable with lovely bedding; note that the 5th bedroom is an open balcony area. We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you Paul and Tamatha!

I’ve never stayed in a house so close to the water! The giant windows everywhere are amazing for staring out into the ocean. Loaded with amenities. Very nicely furnished. I’d definitely stay here again.
